It's new, it's big, it's better than ever, and I need someone to sketch out the new areas!

Heya everyone! Back from Oxford and rehearsals after a very tiring four days. I've got stuff in the works, of course, but tonight I am absolutely KNACKERED and can't bring myself to finish anything. Look out for updates in the next day or two!

Oh, and I guess I should make a note about this - Mab asked about the lag in updates to ATETS3, and actually there is a good reason for that which I forgot to mention and I'm not sure many people know about:

Since I started working again I've actually been spread over TWO computers - my mother's laptop and my main one. Most of my current writing is down here on the laptop, but my sims, older writings and graphics are on the big computer. The big computer also has all my music, other games and most of my other stuff, but the laptop is holding an increasingly large amount of important information - and so I'm split, but spending MOST of my time on the laptop even though it's a less efficient and sometimes slightly annoying machine. I'll get round to the sims sometime.

Hiya everyone, just as a little update on the planned renovations, rather than making a new subforum (as the current number of subforums is popular with everyone including me), the rather neglected Clam Ballot forum will eventually be converted into a suggestions, opinions AND information forum, thus injecting it with newfound purpose and a brand new lease of life.

Let's hope it doesn't grow overconfident with its new high-powered role and leave for pastures greener on a shiny new Harley bought with money obtained from fraudulent benefit claims and a dodgy timeshare scam.

As an extra note, thanks for all your well-wishing, everyone - I'm feeling much better again! ^^

Hi there everyone!

Just a little note of nagging for today - EVERYONE is looking forward to the Ball, right? But at this rate, it won't be here for another couple of weeks!! We can't have that - not after all the hard work we've been doing! It's time to get this shindig rolling!

So I would like to ask that everyone who is currently rping or planning to rp a scene for the run-up to the ball, get your writing in gear and roll it out by the end of this weekend. (That is, by the end of October 10th 2010.)

If you feel you DESPERATELY need more time, contact me. I now have an email address for matters specifically related to the guild - hplattbo@hotmail.co.uk. Use it. There MAY be time to complete any unfinished scenes before the beginning of ch2, but things will be rolling very quickly after the Ball so don't count on this.

Hi there everyone!

Today's announcement is a little unusual, as I'm actually sending one out to make an apology about the disruption to the ball caused by certain users. I know a lot of you don't know what's been going on, and that just makes it worse for you. Basically some posts were made that derailed the rp and introduced inappropriate content. However, this might not have become the problem it did if it weren't for tensions and animosity between certain users. This not only hindered me in making a decision about how to treat the problem, but has lead to a couple of users in the guild placing each other on Ignore.

I made a big, fat post in my Modvoice about it here which has some helpful tips you might all like to read.

Guys, ATE is a GROUP roleplay. Your character(s) is/are not an island. This goes to everyone - THINK about what you do before you do it, and try and get along even if your characters don't. Don't make it personal. And, what's more important, don't ruin it for everyone else with petty squabbling.

It's okay to make a mistake. What's NOT okay is acting up and making trouble, because it has repercussions that hurt EVERYBODY.

So once again, I'm sorry for all the confusion, and let's just put this behind us and enjoy the rest of the ball!

Now, as you all know, our announcement titles here at the Order rarely have any correlation with the actual content. Today, however, it kind of does. Bwah. Wonderful adjective, isn't it? These past two weeks have been a bit bwah at the Order. Everyone's had a busy ol' time of it. I personally have been busy AND sick. Not fun. D: I bet you're all really tired of my weak constitution, huh? =&

ANYWAY, you can expect more stuff to come soon, including the completion of sysv2 and a brand spanking new competition which I think EVERYONE, lurkers and all, will be tempted to join in with. In the meantime, I'd like to poke people to keep on trucking in the RP - Fel and Meta, you guys still have replies to make to people from pages ago! *pokepokepoke*
