"I'm good. Besides it is a good idea to eat when you have a head cold. It makes your body stronger so that you get better faster." Rue said as he carefully moved the heated water to a mug from his bag and then put a few dry herbs in it. "This will help clear your head too." He said giving the mug over to Ashlynn. Vastina was eating neatly and beaming with pride.

From somewhere outside the cave, a rock came skittering in. It was a larger rock and slid along the stone, hitting the small campfire being used to cook with directly in the center, scattering the glowing wood and ash.

The rock sent Rue scrambling out of the way and then Vastina running around trying to put out the scattered wood and ash with her hoofed feet. It stung a little but a forest fire would be a disaster.

-Crevan crulled around Ashlynn to protect her from the flighing debre and the one flameing embers he also patted down in the dirt till all was out.-
-Ashlynn just saw something hit the fire and then was surrounded by Crevan then when he moved Ashlynn was still holding her food in the bowl and she just looked at where she thought the rock landed then she tried to think where it came from, with out from falling asleep from the warmth of the fire, she was worn out and then the fire explodes by something, she was not looking forward to running away from their comorft and what she thought was going to be a nice night with new friends.-

Once most of the ash and flaming bits of wood had been put out Vastina took flight to see if she could see where the rock had fallen from and if there were any others that could rain down on them if they stayed. Rue walked over to Ashlynn to see if she was alright. "Not the best night so far huh?" He joked with her before casting a look over to Crevan to make sure he was alright too.

The human hunkered low when Vastina took flight, watching her carefully. From the sky, he looked like any other patch of earth mingled with the cliff-side, his cloak dirty with the stains of not enough washing - if it had ever been washed in the first place - and the darkness helping him hide in the shadows. But he watched.
"Feathered wings," he muttered, "Shay's gift to her children. Do they know?"
He frowned. His cave! His. Maybe. Dragons needed to shelter, didn't they? Shouldn't he be a gracious host to the young godlings? The man stayed where he was, waiting for the dragon to land and go back inside.

-Ashlynn smiled as Rue walked up-
"No it's still a nice night."
-She then looked to the shadows as she thought she heard a familiar word but it was only vaguely.-
"I am fine"
-as he rubbed the last ember into the soil and then looked at Ashlynn as he recognize this action of hers. He then looked at Rue.-
"She thinks someone is here..."
-Ashlynn just lightly nodded and ate her food still watching the shadows.-

Vastina landed near the others and looked at them. "I couldn't see anything from above because it is so dark." She looked up at the edge again though. "The other rocks up there seem solid enough though so I hope it is safe. Let's go into the cave just to be careful." Rue nodded and then started to gather more fire wood. "We can rebuild the fire inside and then start taking our rest for the night." The human said.

-Ashlynn got up and started trying to help move items closer to the cave and she set her food down and then looked at Rue-
"Is there anything else I can help with?"
-Crevan still kept a look out so the others wouldn't worry too much.-
"I really hope this isn't anyone's home."

"It is the strangest thing. We have camped here before but never had that happened. I would stay back from the entrance just to be safe." Vastina said as she grabbed Rue's bag to help move stuff further in. "I suppose if someone does live here...well we will leave when we find out for sure." Rue said before looking at Ashlynn. "Why don't you grab the waterskin. I think it got dropped over there." He said pointing not far from where the fire had been.

Gorknik had waited patiently for the young dragons to fall asleep. He was used to being very, very patient, living alone in the mountains. Once the night had grown long and the moon was past the mid-point in its journey he finally moved. He crept slowly among the rocks, making not a sound, and finally dropped into the entrance of the cave. The fire burned very low.
He crept towards the nearest dragon and muttered to himself.
"Little godlings... still trapped inside these poor poor shells..."
And he brought a stone about the size of his fist down onto Vastina's skull.

Of course Vastina woke up when the rock hit her head. Rue woke up too and yelled at the stranger who looked like he had hit his friend. "Hey! What are you doing?" Vastina lashed her tail at the stranger to push him away. "Why did you hit me?" She asked even as a good size bump started to form on her head.

-Hearing the sudden burst Crevan shot his eyes open but cause Ashlynn was resting near he just curled around her and made a low growl/hiss noise one he doesn't make often-
-Ashlynn woke up and then looked at the man that stood before the other two dragons.-
"Who are you?"
-clears her throat from just waking up.-
