SeymourHiney That's right! You're the new owner of the TOS guild! I love that place! Master Yngwie Huh. Try running some holiday events, or some such thing. You know, host contests, official crew-run RPs, things like that. Maybe wait until you get a few more members. I don't know. In another guild that I have the fortune to be a part of, the two busiest areas are the Chatterbox and the Role Playing subforums. In fact, you might want to think about adding a Chatterbox and moving all of the threads on the front page there. It just gives the guild a more organized appearance. A thread for each new member to introduce themselves couldn't hurt, either. Also, an active Captain, Vice Captain, and Crew are all pretty important. It takes more than two people to coordinate an entire guild, as small as yours may be. I'd suggest getting some of your friends to join the Crew and help moderate. Thanks for listening to my input, and I hope you found my advice helpful.
Yup, can't deny that the prospect of winning prizes can draw people out of the woodwork. xd
I made such suggestions in the Crew subforum. xd That's basically how I run my guild.
An active Captain and Vice and, above all, as only they have access to some extra functions regular Crew members don't. Such as using the announcement system and promoting people. As it stands...all Fe1ix and I have are the power to clear join requests, edit posts and ban. sweatdrop
I'm gonna edit in a list of names of those who have posted in this thread into the first post.

I've already begun banning those who haven't been active since 2006, deleted and sent threads to the recycle bin that haven't been posted in since 07.

Well, it's nice to see some organisation in the guild! Do you need some help advertising for new members and such? I post around the site a bit so I could put a link to the guild in my signature and see if it attracts new members.... Or is that not allowed? I dont know, I haven't been on this site for long. sweatdrop This was the first guild I joined! heart

Agreed, it is pretty tough and time-consuming to run a guild entirely on your own. I don't mind becoming another Vice, but I'm likely to check up on this place only every few days or so. I will do what I'm asked to, though---such as moving threads, lifting bans from those who want to come back, etc.

I check on this guild like every time I come on xD, though I think Ky and Griff will just leave it as is since its practically their guild and all.
