Amme made a slight annoyed face at first. She hoped Anala didn't mean the way Seth always treated her. She just ignored that comment and smiled again. "well you'll have to learn how to read before you can write," Amme said taking out one of her scrolls. "Go on, take a seat," she said pointing at her bed. She sat next to Anala and opened the scroll. She started pointing out the simple glyphs, to get her started. When she pointed at it she told her what it meant. Obviously, it was more complex then that- as learning commonly is. "If you want, you can keep that scroll if you want to," she said. It didn't do Amme any good anymore, so why not give it to Anala?
Seth locked eyes with Atem. He wouldn't be that foolish to bring someone like that to the palace. However he raised his eyebrow and asked, "What snake?" Seth didn't know of what Anala did before he met her.

Anala dident know she insolted anyone, she was jest stating what she observed is all so how could she know. She sat on the bed but she drew her knees up and sat more like a cat or dog would, to her it was very comfey but to someone else it wouldent look like that "I have lots at the Jackle headed guys home, he said i can look at them when ever i wanted" he said but she would take this one as well none the less, something for her to pratice with. "what do you want for it" nothing was free she knew that as well.
Atem crossed his arms "It was in the morrning when she was in the cortyard. I though she was going to hurt Amme but she killed a snake that would have bitten her" he said, he was still greatful for that as well, he would have to thank her later for that. "so...as long as she dosent harm anyone shes welcome here"

"Do you mean..... Anubis? An Anubis statue?" Amme asked her. She tilted her head a little in curiousity, "What do you mean he says?" She then stood up for a second. Anala asked her what she wanted for the scroll. Amme was going to say 'nothing' but instead she said, "You can have it if you agree to eat some food and let us dress you. How does that sound?" The girl could use better clothing, after all her clothes were ripped and worn. She wondered how long Seth was going to keep her in the palace. Amme hoped for a while, she hoped he wasn't going to kick her out immediately. Anala was in need of care, even though she could survive on her own. "Do you live with anyone Anala? Family or such? Will they be ok alone?" she asked her thinking her family was out there.
"She's been here already? In the courtyard?" Seth said not completely happy. Not only did it worry him that someone came into the courtyard unsuspected, but not he was worried about the girl. Then again, when they were out in the desert, she did say that she had seen him before. He was going to tell the Pharaon that, but he left it alone. He would have to ask Anala about such things. There was just something telling him that he couldn't believe that she was in anyway associated with Bakura, or that she was 'bad'. Hopefully, he wasn't getting soft. "it doesn't matter, she saved the healer. To ensure that you and our royalty will be safe, someone has to look out for her," he said as a double meaning. That being that someone has to make sure she doesn't disobey him. But mainly it was meant in the sense that she does have to be careful. Ammeterasu can heal other people but not herself. The gods must have enjoyed such irony when they gave that girl her gift. If Seth wasn't such a cold blooded b*****d all the time, he would actually admit that that aspect of her magic was tragic. But perhaps that was why he angered so easily when she disobeyed and ventured off. If she was hurt she wouldn't be able to do a thing about it. Plus if she jeopardizes herself, she jeopardizes him, the Pharaoh, and all royalty. Something he would not let happen.

Anala thought it over and looked down at her close. They were bad, though she could move around in them easely new ones might be good since it could get cold at night. "Ok" she said to the new close. "he had ststues at his house, but he dosent stay there, only Jackles and they live outside i stay inside. he said i could stay there when i was little" she explaned since she was very young so that is kid of what happened "gave me neckless to"
She blinked agen in confustion "what is family?" she asked. never really haveing one she jest knew what she learned from watching animals.
Atem quraked an eyebrow slightly hearing that from Seth of all people. He never hured him say anything like that before about Amme, he smiled slightly, even if he had only ment that it would be bad for the royle cort he still said "it seems your time in the desert warmed your heart a bit" he said manelt cause he knew that would really get to him. He also dident think Anala saves Amme to make sure him and the other stayed safe, she dosent seem to know much about them. He assumed she jest saw the snake, knew it was dangerous and killed it. Why jest that though he dident know, she could have gatten something out of it but she jest ran.

Amme was now sure that Anala spoke of Anubis. But how was she able to talk Anubis? Anala answered that too. She should her the necklace she wore. Amme immediately looked into Anala's eyes and said, "Anala, you must never let anybody see that pendent. I'm sure he told you there are a lot of bad people who would want that. Keep that close to you always, ok?" Amme knew exactly what it was, it was one of the original Millennium Items, just like hers. Anala's item was touched by Anubis, her's was touched by Imhotep the god of healing arts. "Thank you for showing me it though," she said then decided to tell her of her item, "you see this orb around my neck? Just like Anubis gave you that item, Imhotep allowed me to have this item. So I know, I know how important these items are." She then looked at Anala shockingly. Amme then looked sad, she didn't know what family was? "You're mother, father, brothers, and sisters. Those are family. Those who are related to you..... share the same blood....." she tried to explain. She then leaned over to hug the girl. Has she been alone her whole life?
A knock came at the door and two guards came up with food. Amme told them to leave it on her table, then thanked them. They brought enough, which was good because she hadn't eaten today.
Seth instantly shot a glare at the Pharaoh. He couldn't say much to him, he was the Pharaoh after all. There were times, a lot of times, that he barely acted like a proper Pharaoh. Perhaps because he was still young, perhaps because he was still slightly naive. "I assure you Pharaoh, I am but the same man as I was when I woke this morning," he said closing his eyes and simply smirking. He then opened his eyes and stood up. The ladies have finished working on him. Of course, he should be taking it easy after such a blow. But instead, he insisted on moving about and carrying out his duties for the day. One of the healers pleaded for him to take it easy. Seth put his hand on his wound and gritted his teeth. He then said to the healer, "Unless you would like to pick up all of my work, work that has to be done before the festival, then I will gladly lay the day away. Be my guess." The healer backed away and said nothing.

Anala looked over at the food, it was more than she normely eats in a day "it never leaves me" she said since she never took the locket off even when she was going to sleep. "there like a pack? i kind of have that, the jackles dont kill me as long as i dont threaten them or there pups" thats all she knew since she was small, so that was her family in a way.
"do you have a pack" she asked as she looked over the food and nabbed what ever she grabbed first and sat back on the bed and started to litterly tare at the fruit.
Well Atem could see that Seth still has no sence of humor. "Seth...maybe you should rest, the others are more than able to prepare for tomarrow" he said, and he was more than willing to help as well, frankely he would much rather be doing that than that choosing thing he knew will happen shortly after the festavel.
Though he knew Seth wouldent lessen unless he ordered him to, he really dident want to, he hated doing that but if needed he would "jest dont push yourself to heard." he worned as he got up. he figured he might as well go check on Amme, and tell the other Preasts to keep an eye on Seth to make sure he dident put much of a strane on himself.

Now that she knew the item was from Anubis, it made sense that the jackals kept her in the pack and did not attack her. But other then them, she did not have a family to her own. Who and where were her parents? They must have passed a long time ago. Or left her when she was young. Amme grabbed a piece of fruit and sat on the bed. "My pack? My family?" she repeated. She thought for a moment, rotating the fruit in her hand slowly. "My blood family is dead now, they left me here so I could have a better life, to better the lives of others. So my family now would be the people in this palace. I guess," she said. Even though that would be true and that most people in the palace excepted her now, she still felt..... disconnect with most people here. Perhaps because she knew close to no one could replace the way she felt about her parents. Only one could she feel that connected to, and she wasn't allowed to. She took a few bites out of the fruit.
Seth simply looked at Atem as if telling him that there was no way he was going to stop. But to please him he said, "I will take it as easy as possible." And with that he left them. He was already behind, and probably nobody was doing what they were supposed to. Only exception was the healer, since he reassigned her to watch over Anala. He couldn't help but wonder what they were doing. Not because he didn't trust them, but just because. Perhaps if he got down to work right now, got people moving, he could take some time out to check on Anala. Seth wasn't a man to give someone thanks, but he did believe a proper thanks was in order. He began rounding up his guards, he couldn't go out tonight with them obviously, he wasn't that foolish, however they were instructed to report any and all important things to him, all other non-important matters would be directed toward Mahado. He then checked on the committees, to see if anybody had done anything. Strangely enough, people had been working on their jobs. Slowly, but working.

(Lol, allright, i should have fun with this) Anala had watched Amme as she talked, The locket alowing her to glimps her true feelings somewhat. She dident feel like she should say anything though, it wosent her place. She had gatten a bit deffence when some women came with a dress, though they jest left it there. Amme helped her get cleaned up as she called it and put the dress on. It had been a few houres allready and apperntly the other man that was there when she cam wanted to have dinner with them "this feels weird" she said since all she had before was the ratty torn thing she had before, needless to say she looked better with her hair brushed and neat and in acctule close, she jest wosent used to them is all. Atem was thankful that Manna was kind enufe to sneek the note to Amme askeing if she and there guest would like to join him for dinner. Partly because he did enjoy Ammes companey and because he wanted to know more about the girl Seth brought back. He was a little busst still though making sure everything would be ready. he dident like sitting by with out knowing how things were going. So far everything seems to be comeing along nicely.

Amme finished helping Anala prepare and was just brushing her hair. She looked back at the girl with gentle eyes and said, "I know. But you will be ok." As Amme finished she thought about what would happen after this. Would Anala be staying here much longer? In a way she hoped, even though it was apparent Anala could fend for her own she could still use a safe and nice place to stay. And surely Seth would not kick her out of the palace. Anala seemed very interested in Seth, Amme hoped that in some strange way- Seth could at least treat Anala well, let her stay here or something. But only royalty stayed in the palace, or those of the royal court. She could still wish right? She finished up, coming out in a dress that came all the way to the ground and had one slit go all the way up to the bottom of her hip. However, it was a very loose dress so the extra material covered up any signs of the slit. [[the woven yellow thing is has golden 'scales' coming off of it, sorry, no example. And there is no necklace like the one in the picture]] She also wore a headdress much like her normal one- it had the same wings on it as her usual one. The two walked down to the dinning hall. It wasn't too uncommon for the royal court to dine with one another. Most of the time she stayed quiet and just ate. She was always quiet when she ate, whether she noticed it or not. Once down there they were the only ones there at the moment. Were they early?Seth, as much as he didn't want to, took it as easy as possible. Of course he was still up and about, more then anyone should be. But because of that they were on schedule. He could actually stop early tonight. He supposed he should, if he let himself heal up tonight he could stay on schedule tomorrow. Seth readied himself for dinner. Of course he wanted to look good, no use going around looking like a slob. He prided himself on his looks, they were his status. He checked his wound, he didn't need to change his bandages yet, that was good. He dressed himself in his usual dinning outfit [[second outfit, 1st hat]]. He did not know that Anala would be there, so when he arrived he was a little shocked. Seemed Amme had been taking care of her. He stopped for a second to look at her, but then looked away as if he wasn't looking in the first place. He then walked up to them and asked Anala, "Has she been taking care of you?"Ammeterasu turned around to look at Seth, "Good evening Seth," she said simply. ((yes its the same, sorry bout that ><)) Atem was in what he usely waires since he always had to look nice no madder what he did, he sometimes wished he could jest ware normel close like everyone else sometimes. But there was nothing he could really do. He also wondered if Seth would kick that girl out after a few days, it is somethng he would do, though he might jest have to step im if he dose. He smilled as he saw Amme and Anala enter "you both look nice" he said since both the girls did. He was jest being polite, and he thought that Amme looked esipesly nice.
"Hello Seth" he greeted the preast as he came in "How are you feeling" he asked.
Anala acctuly jest wanted to stay alone, she dident like being around people and suvrived better on her own. She was stongly concidering punching Seth for making her come here in the first place, she wouldent because she knew he was still hurt but when he wosent she was going to give him a punch. Jest cause she liked him dosent mean he could make her do what he wanted her to do.
"If you wernt hurt id punch you for dragging me here" she said clearly annoyed that he had done that.
Atem smirked hearing Anala "I like this girl more each time i see her" he said since few would stand up to Seth like that.

Amme nodded and smiled simply saying, "Thank you." She glanced back at Seth, because he, and more of the royal court was coming in, she couldn't say much to Atem. However, she did turn her head and giggle slightly when Anala said that to Seth.
Seth instantly glared at Amme out of the group. He tried to ignore Atem as much as possible though, since one could not lose his temper at the Pharaoh. "Do you find something humorous Ammeterasu?" he said with a stern voice.
"Of course not," she said simply but not afraid that he addressed her. She started to think though, perhaps Anala did not want to stay here? She thought she liked Seth though, or at least wanted to be around him. She wasn't sure, but she knew that if she wanted to leave she could.
Seth looked back at Anala and simply said in an sarcastic tone, "My mistake for thanking you for helping me then. It won't happen again." He sneered a little, still not liking her tone with him. Nobody spoke to him that way. He'd have to make sure she knew that. Dinner was ready and everyone was seated as others brought out their food.

Atem smiled as he took the seat at the head of the table since he was requiered to do so. "Come Seth, you did force her out of her home without explaning anything" he said since the girl did have a reasion to say that.
Anala dident pay much attention to Seth being sarcastic, she probely dident know what it was "taking me from my home by forse is not thanking, saying 'thank you' is" she said, the other roile members were looking at her like she was crazy but it was funny as well. she jest sat next to Amme since she knew her the best.
"jest cause i like him dosent mean i need to act stupid around him" she mumbled to herself. (9atem at the head, preasts on tather side and others after them i think))

Seth simply turned away from her and ignored her. He took his seat just wanting this dinner to be done and over with. He never socialized with anybody at the table, he felt it was not a time to talk- it was a time to eat. The other royal court members talked among themselves. He sat there and waited until he was given his food.
Amme was actually able to sit next to Atem this time around. That was good. Even though they couldn't speak like they did when they were alone, at least she could be around him. Her plate was different from all the others, she was the only one missing any form of meat. Seemed like tonight's protein was lamb and fish. Amme looked around the table. Seemed most eyes were on Anala, some may have not known what happened earlier.
"By the way, my Pharaoh, preparations for the festival are right on schedule," Seth said simply as he continued to eat. He looked across the table to watch Anala. He was still aggravated from what she said earlier and it showed on his face.
