Eric looked up at her, shaking his head as if to clear it. Standing, he hurried to her, and reached up to try and curve his hand over her cheek. "Whether I'm nuts or not, don't cry."
Jeff laughed at him, but there was still a playfulness to it, "Anything about your kids you want to talk about?" He wanted a quick confession, so he and Alfred could focus on finding Amy's killer.

Amy gave him a smile though it didn't reach her eyes. Her eyes still seemed sad and hollow. "You're not going crazy" she responded.
Sam looked at him a moment. He was going to f^%$ing kill his son. How could he have told on him. He shruged. "What do you want to know" he said angrily.

Eric's eyes softened and he whispered, "Why aren't you free?" He wanted to wrap his arms around her, but she didn't look solid enough to do so. So he just stood in front of her, his eyes trying to be as comforting as possible.
Jeff recognized that look. "Your son is under our protection now." His voice had turned completely 'cop' like, a harsh tone that would subdue almost anyone.

Amy shook her head. "I do't know eric but please don't let them do the autopsy. I can feel everything. when the used those electric pads on me I could feell it please" she said close to panicking.

Eric's eyes bulged. "You can feel?!" He took a step back, leaning against the sink. If need be, Eric had a tendency to be very intelligent, and his face seemed far away as he tried to think of a solution. He knew that without the autopsy the killer would be more likely to get away. And he didn't want that to happen. Talking aloud to himself, he muttered, "You must still be attached to your body....maybe, maybe she can attached to something else like a...a genie!" He shook his head, as he kept thinking, "maybe someone else. Me!" His head shot up and he looked at Amy again, "Haunt me." he ordered.
Jeff shook his head, "In the case of child abuse, sir, probability is enough to move them to a safer place." He knew the other things, the drugs, and whatnot, but that didn't matter to him right now. If he charged a grieving father with drug-possession, he'd have the media all over him. But if it's an abusive father, nowadays, they were shunned. Thankfully.

(cute avi)
Amy watched him tiredly as he thought aloud. His thoughts were making sence but she had no idea how to do that. "It sounds like a plan but how? I have no Idea how to go about doing anything" she admitted apologetically. She closed her eyes a second and put a hand to her head. She could feel herself wanting to fade again but she couldn't she had to stay..and that nothing she wnet to was driving her insane...
Sam shrugged as if he didn't care at all. "Do as you please..but I assure you, not all of the will go happily" he chuckled. He could care less what happened to the kids. He wouldn't get aressted for drugs ye. He could be out and gone by tomarrow afternoon.

((Thanks. I felt like I needed a change. I'm mostly just making up the idea of Amy attaching herself to Eric, I have no idea if it makes sense or not.))
Eric glanced back at Amy, "They say ghosts stay because they have something to finish. Are you staying because of the brats? Don't worry about them, I told the police what Dad's been doing, and I'll take care of them from now on. I promise." He desperately didn't want to lose his sister, but at the same time she deserved to rest. To complete her death. She'd definitely suffered enough. "And about the haunting, maybe you can try possessing me, and that will attach you to me. Probably." He really should have paid attention to more of the new age stuff.
"As minors, they will only have the choice of foster care until they are adopted or going under their brother's care. You won't have a chance to hurt another child again." Jeff sounded disgusted with Sam; he couldn't understand how someone could hurt their own children. It was terrible. He just wanted to start beating on the guy, to show him what he'd done.

Amy was listening to what he said and it was really starting to annoy her. "Thats the point, I don't know why im here, I just know I am. I don't know how to do anything like this!" she snapped gesturing to herself. She didn't know what it was that caused her emotion to spike but she was angry now. "Besides I might hurt you" she said through clenched teeth.
Sam again shruged not caring. "I don't care what you do with them. They diserve a better home than me anyway" he said truthfully knowing this cop wanted to bash his brains in.

Emily walked into the room with the observation window. She saw Amy's body, bloody and bruised, on the slab. "Well, that's a bit disturbing", she thought. Emily had been on a trip to visit her distant family. Amy's family. She hadheard the news on the way to Amy's house. She had tracked down friends of Amy's and asked a few questions, just like her father had taught her. Though she hadn't ruled ot the possiblity of suicide, she didn't think the dots connected right. There was someting terribly wrong, her friends described someone who wouldn't kill themselves. She looked at the body, unable to suppress a shudder. Morgues never were her favorite places. She watched police officers go on about there business.

Vetrona Emily walked into the room with the observation window. She saw Amy's body, bloody and bruised, on the table. She looked at the body, then at a young man who seemed to be talking to himself. She walked over, a concerned look on her face. "Excuse me, But are you by chance part of her family?", she asked Eric, pointing towards Amy's body. (uh I need you to fix this, one they are at a police station and amys body is in the morgue, two they are in the guys restroom girls arn't allowedlol sorry ><)

((*twitch* even thinking about the men's bathroom is icky. Welcome Vetrona))
Eric sighed, "I doubt you'll hurt me Aims, I just want to help." He ran a hand through his hair again, messing it up. "Please try it, the autopsy will help find your killer..." He looked up at her, "Unless you can give me hints on who it is?" He felt lost, more so than before, because once again Amy depended on him, and he was clueless how.
Jeff was surprised that he'd agreed so easily. It actually threw him off guard. Shaking his head a little, he commented, "You're an a**, but at least you know you are." He scratched his neck absentmindedly, and muttered, "What's that kid doing in there?" A part of him figured he was crying in peace, but maybe Jeff had gotten the completely wrong idea about him and he was running... "Tell me about your kids' relationships with Amy." His eyes were scanning the crowd; nobody had gone into the men's bathroom, and there wasn't a second way out. Even if the kid was guilty he had no place to go.

Emily's general mistrust of police officers increased tenfold as one seemed to be sneaking into a closet for something. "Interesting", she thought as she walked by. "Alright", she said to herself. "My first priority is to find one of my relitives. Then, I must examine the body. That should help me determine what happened, or at least a small idea of the circumstance of her death". She sighed. The last thing she had wanted to do was investigate something, or anything for that matter. She wasn't like her dad. But, then again, there was something telling her that she needed to help. That something wasn't right, and that this horrible thing just might happen again. She was in deep thought when she accidentally bumped into a police officer who had been talking to a civilian. She got a look at his nametag which had "Jeff" inscribed on it. "Sorry", she mumbled, her mind still on the death of Amy.

(lol yes welcome)
Amy sighed calming down again. She walked slightly closer to him. I don't exactly know how to do this without draining your energy a little. Or a lot" she said hesitantly. The last thing she wanted was to have hurt Eric. She wanted to make sure he was ready for this though.
Sam sighed. "Eric and Amy are the closest. They were always together and when eric moved out she would sneak out at night to go see him. Geroge my youngest song" he laughed at this. "is sadly a lot like me...Katie is working right now and she is very..independet. Her and katie seemed to get along alright being about the same age. And jessie my youngest is to young to count."

((*giggles* I had picked Lexi, Gary and Rachel, but I wasn't terribly attached to those names. Remember I told you could change them if you wanted.))
Eric shrugged, "If you need to drain my energy, go ahead, you can just walk around in my body and whatnot." He was starting to get impatient. He kept trying to prepare himself for what was going to happen, but since he was clueless, it was nearly impossible. A large part of him desperately wanted it over with, but he would never rush his sister.
'Thank god Alfred's not here, or he'd laugh at me,' Jeff thought to himself as he stumbled back. He would have moved if he wasn't trying to inscribe the kids' names into his mind. George always reminded him of Of Mice and Men, and Jessie just sounded like a little kid, but he was positive he'd forget Katie. It was such a common place name. Jeez, those didn't sound at all like what Eric had said, well, minus their personalities.
He turned to face this new civilian with a smile on his face. With her short hair, and steely gray eyes, she seemed to have a very serious side to her. "it's no problem, miss," he replied politely, "Maybe I can point you in the right direction, you look a little lost." His tone had a teasing touch to it, that anyone with a heart larger than the Grinch's original one would smile at.
