~: Advanced Turn Skeleton Updated :~

The Advanced Turn Skeleton has been updated slightly to fix two errors in its layout. One was the addition of affinities. It came to my attention that neither of the previous systems included a section for affinity. Which meant that if you were the type of player who liked to check the validity of your opponants numbers, you would have to keep their actual profile open. The goal for the advanced turn skeleton was to make it possible to check and reference all information needed to properly check math and other calculations right on the post itself. The other thing that was fixed was a simple typo in the existing effects section where it listed PC twice. With that being said, anyone who uses the advanced turn skeleton please be sure to use the updated version. (The 'Code' for it has already been updated, so you only need to copy paste).

If you do not use the advanced turn skeleton you are not in any way required to do so, however the mod team strongly encourages you to do so. Although it may seem complicated at first, and will in a lot of ways mean that making a battle post will take more time. The detail included in the skeleton is a great way to become more familiar with the system, as well as assist you in double checking your own post for errors. It also makes the job of a mod much easier.

~: NFS2 Redux - Message from the Mods -: Addressing urgent issues :~


The following information is very serious and should not be taken lightly. It has come to our attention that some of the actions displayed by certain members are detrimental to the overall health of the guild as a whole. As such the three statements below shall be specific changes and or additions to NFS conduct effective immediately.







1.) If you are not a mod, do not act like one. We understand that we are all here to enjoy the guild together, and that means helping fellow members. However, when one goes out of their way to "aid" another member and mistakenly gives them false or incorrect information, it simply causes more problems. So please, refrain from correcting and or pointing out flaws directly to a player. If someone ask a question, simply link them to the appropriate thread so that they may read and interpret it for themselves. No longer will, "But this person did it on their profile" or "But he/she said it works this way" be tolerated.



2.) We are aware that sometimes in general rp and or battles you may notice another players mistake or flaw in their post. This could be anything from an improper check, to simple mistakes in Rp. In the event that this should happen, do not make a response post. If you are in battle and someone messes up a check, and you make a roll anyway. Guess what? Either we let that mistake go, or take back both post. Doing so would mean you would have to re roll, and possibly roll higher. So instead, if you notice an issue with someone elses post. Contact a mod and do not make a response post. Every post that is made after the mistake is made, makes it that much harder for us to correct it.


3.) Finally, do not, make edits or changes to the battle system format. Either use the classic, or advanced system, but do NOT edit or make changes to the skeleton. Changing colors is fine, but other than that, leave the skeleton as it is. This goes double for those who use the advanced skeleton. The battle skeletons were made not only for the aid of the players, but also for the sake of the mods who have to monitor activity. When you make your own changes to the skeleton, you increase the chance of you making a mistake, as well as the chances that a mod will miss it.


These are not suggestions, the above listed protocol is to be considered mandatory, effective immediately.

As of Thursday 7/14/2011, Chaoscarrier has been promoted to the mod team as a mod in training. While he is in training he has many limitations on his modship, however we have high hopes for the new member of our team. ~* NFS2 Redux - Projects In Work - Recruitment *~


As it stands we've been having some issues with recruiting players as well as having some activity in the guild. Well, after some deliberation from your Vice-Captains we have come up with a couple projects that should be able to bring back a lot of the missed joy from the former editions of NFS. However this will take some time... so in the meantime we will release one of our smaller projects







We are now opening up a new recruitment thread to gain new potential players for the guild while also having some fun at the same time. It was earlier mentioned that we have been lacking some good RPs, well I do hope this is the answer you have been looking foreword too.

This Thread will be the location of the new recruitment thread. Here you will be able to RP freely with your fellow guild members as well as other Gaians. It's first and foremost function is for the fun of our already existing players. Here we are all equals and there will be no reference to stats, checks or the system at all in this location. But this will also serve as a way to find other players interested in a Naruto RP of a higher quality, and as we gain new RPers there we may be able to find new players for here...


Now do believe, all actions in this thread will have no relations to the events in the guild. HOWEVER you will be rewarded for your participation in this thread. How you will be rewarded is at the discretion of myself and ele360 but it should be noted that the more recruits we successfully get the greater this reward will become for those who participated. Do view this as a special event, one of many to come, and do not feel at all limited with the characters you choose to RP with in that thread, you are free to make any character you please (Aizen don't think about touching Sai), and it will have no factor in your reward. Do have fun~

~: The Recruitment Event Has Begun :~

A lot of things have been discussed for the future of the guild and as such one of the changes that is rather needed will be the player base. There are only a handful of players in the entire guild and the guild spans countries of space. As incentive to help us begin improving the guild by raising the number of players to RP and interact with, we've started a recruitment event. There will be rewards for just simply taking part so long as those you recruited stay and get atleast semi-active. If enough people get involved and really bring in the players, we'll be handing out even bigger prizes to the top 3 recruiters. Those who are recruited will also be rewarded as incentive to get them going and active.

DD Roullette, Metal Attraction Device Fix, Gold donations:

Ok so I fixed up a few things. First off the Metal Attraction DD item has only 50 of it's 100 levels spent so I fixed it up to have it's full 100 spent. Next I implemented the DD roulette, away to donate normally and get double the prizes (though by random similar to Christmas grab bag events).
Next I finally implemented Gold donations which I know where also asked for.

~: Closing Ceremony - Guild Revamp :~


As many already know, the end of the current Chuunin Exams marks the beginning of the Guild Revamp. There are many things to look foreword to in the coming weeks, from new effects, perks and overall system changes to a more freshening RP Areas that will help bring back some of the classic feelings from the first generation.

As of this moment the Chuunin Exams are officially over! With a grand total of 7 New Graduates! Please congratulate the following players on their success:

At which time the Guild Timeline shall go through a 1-Year Time Skip.

We also ask of all of you to please cash in all EXP that you currently have stored. If you are not ready to use them we can save your Stat Packages for later use but it is highly needed that you use your lines before Saturday as it may prove difficult to find them afterwords. Also, please hold onto all Item/Jutsu Creation and/or Upgrades until after the Revamp as they will be denied until that time.

Hello my friends. This notice is long overdue and long awaited... After much labor and way to many delays the Guild Revamp is completed - though there are a few parts to clean - and as such it is time for new and proper Mods to arise and take place in the guild. As such I will be providing a Mod Test for the guild that will not only test your capabilities as a mod but will also determine what responsibilities you will be given as a mod. This test is a mandatory test for all current mods for them to keep their current position.

This test will last until New Years Day, after which a new event to welcome the New Year will be released along with a new story line for the guild.



1) What are the stack packages that every player starts out with?
2) What clan allows characters to unlock techniques at +5 levels higher then normal.
3) What clan provides an ally item in exchange for starting skill.
4) How many lines are needed to pass the academy and what items does graduating provide?
5) When a new player asks where to start, what link will you provide them?

6) If a player levels up from levels 5 to 9 and is a genin, how much money did they earn?
7) A player buys an item with the Puppet Hijack effect from the Fire Country market but provides the wrong amount of ryo for it, how do you address the issue and what do you point out so they understand what mistake(s) were made?
8 ) A player chooses perks, makes a custom basic jutsu, and buys an item when creating their profile what mistakes were made?
9) When updating a profile where does the stats info go and where does the RPical info go?
10) Two players get into an argument in the OOC, how do you react?

Hello guild members, this announcement is being made to introduce a new moderation system known as Mod Zones. With the recent additions to the mod team, we now have a staff large enough to dedicated our mods to each specific area of the guild. This will help with much faster response, much more personal experiences, as well as general organization upkeep. Please review the list below and be aware of what zone you are in, this will help you know which mod to contact for assistance. Basically, if your question or concern involves the country that you are in, contact the mod that resides over that zone. Any issue or question that is confined to said zone is that mods responsibility. If their is a fight going on in your zone, it is your zone mods job to watch it. It is your zone mods job to monitor line counts, activity, checks, etc. Zone mods will also be in charge of any NPC's that need to be moved in your zone.

~: System Change - Word Counts vs Line Counts :~


Hello guild members. This announcement is to inform the public that the guild is being converted to a new experience system. Currently 1 exp is earned per line. Frankly speaking this was a flawed feature of the previous NFS1 system. In an effort to make the guilds system as clean and easy to use as possible the mod crew has decided that instead of counting lines we will now be counting your words.

What does this mean for you?

For one, it is now easier than ever for you to keep track of your experience. Every 20 words you write is worth 4exp. Simply copy paste your post into any online word counter and you will have an accurate display of your exp gained.

It also means that we will be removing some of the posting restrictions that were the old system demanded. For example, larger fonts are now acceptable (within reason), posting formats, and even image embeds are now all allowed and welcomed as they will not effect the total amount of words written in the actual rp post. We do ask however that when in battle these font and post changes be kept out for the sake of the mods who are monitoring the battles.

What does this mean for the mod crew?

Due to differences in screen sizes and font differences line counts were very inaccurate, often times Mods would simply have to spot check counts which meant that sometimes players would get by with more or less than they actually diserved. This is a thing of the past.


The guilds system has been updated to reflect the changes, where things once read "x amount of lines" it should now read "X amount of words". If there are any outdated sections of the guild that still refer to exp gain in the form of line counts please report them to a mod as soon as possible.
