Ace looked at the boulder. Okami said it would be more difficult, and this wasn't going to be something in Ace's way. He inhaled and channeled his chakra, then when he exhaled, he shot that chakra out of his hand, but he ended blowing himself back, skidding and tumbling, but Ace did a backwards tumble and stood up, his glove burning. "Hm." he observed his gloves, taking them off. The bandages were burned through, but he needed those. His scars are a bit bothersome.

Ace nodded, his grin turning into a blank expression. His figure smoothed out, and his blazing eyes became even more energetic and determined. He knew that this was going to be difficult. He charged his chakra, closed his eyes, then channeling it and shooting it out of his palm, sending it out, and it looked like it was going in the direction of the boulder, but after a split second, it blew Ace back again, but this time, not too hard. "I got this." he mumbled, standing back up and wiping some dirt off his cheek.

Ace removed his bandages from his hands to remove the stress on his hands. As they slid off, Ace's well trained arms were fully revealed, along with many scars of when he trained himself, which were only two months old. They put a bit more stress into Ace, where in which Ace had more control and caution in channeling his chakra. He morphed it into its Raiton affinity, then shot it out of his left hand this time, and it came out correctly, but it barely reached anywhere, only about two inches off his hand, then blew Ace back, but the boy slammed his staff quickly into the ground to prevent himself from falling backwards. "Almost got it." he grinned.

The boy once again, but this time much more quickly, charged his chakra, and changed it into its affinity. "C'mon.. If it's not this one, it's the next one." he mumbled. He closed his eyes and furrowed his brows as his right hand had power surging through it, then did the Lightning Blast half correctly, as it shot out of his hand, but it went into the floor as Ace was panicking. "I did it!" he exclaimed happily, but not correctly. He was smiling, not grinning now. He waited till he could feel his right arm again, then tried again.

Rei watched, sitting again as she absently chewed her fingernail and observed. Ace seemed to be catching onto everything pretty quick. Rei looked back down at the weapon in her lap again and held it by its handle. It did nothing for a moment, then glowed with her dark blue chakra. It then stopped as she spun it in her hand and put it back where it hung on her pants. She stood up, wondering if she should just go ahead and head back into town.

"Sensei~ Why not teach her something too?" Ace asked, flicking his head to Rei's direction, looking at him with a slight pout. He then held his hand out, then sighed. Ace moved his other hand to brace his shooting arm, concentrating hard. "Last try," he muttered. He easily morphed his chakra without thinking, getting used to it. Ace felt the power surge going down his arm, then opened his eyes.
"Raiton: Raikou Hitofuki no Jutsu!" he grinned, saying the name of the jutsu for the hell of it, and saw how the boulder had a large crack in it. "Awesome! Did I do it right?!" he hopped in joy, looking at Okami for confirmation.

"Haha, yes yes youve done it quite well," he smiled at the boy and clapped his hands in recognition and approval. "Well if she doesnt want to train Im sure she could at least come with us for after training ramen." He stood up and walked to Ace his hands in his pockets,"You can eat all you want as long as I dont go broke."

Ace triumphantly smiled. He sniffled a few times, sniffing his sleeve. "Holy crap!" he jumped, tapping the fire off of his sleeve that burnt it off. "Ah, whatever, it looks cool." he shrugged, then looked to Rei. "Yep! You should go with us!" he nodded, then looked to Okami. "Oh, when're you gonna put me.. In electrified.. Water?" he recalled, hesitating to ask.

"Ill surprise you, your body may adjust so fast you wont even know it," he smiled as he checked his money and started walking towards the town then stopped and looked back.

"If you wanna go, we'll be at the Ramen Shop!" Ace grinned at Rei, then followed behind Okami. "Oh, and, I'm Ace Mishiama. Thanks for teaching me..?"

Rei thought about it. She looked as if she'd refuse, but she moved without thinking and followed them. She decided she'd tag along after all. She could use something to eat anyway. "Thank you..." She said quietly, nodding to Okami.

He smiled,"lets go then, the best Ramens at supper time around these parts," he then looked smiling and patted the boys head,"no problem kid, I like to do this sort of thing, Ace."

Ace smiled up at Okami with a thankful, yet childish look. "Got it!" he nodded, running over to Rei and grabbing her hand with a grin.
