Sam turned around and looked at Iofiel. "What is it you want? I am not invited here so I do not wish to encroch on your land. I will go back to mine." But he didn't start off again. He waited for what she would say sience she was the one that wanted him to wait.
Anna ran into her brother, but he didn't seem to notice it. She was about to yell at him but stopped and also waited to see what the She-Wolf wanted. She liked that one but she didn't know about the other. The other seemed to be a bit grumpy and didn't want to play. Almost like Sam but Sam liked to play now and again. But that was only when he was off work or not makeing sure she was safe. He was sort of obsessive about that.

Aakosir heard Iofiel run after them. She sighed, but headed back to the cave. She would learn. They came from two different worlds. There was no way for them to mesh like Iofiel wanted. It was just how it was. Aakosir reached her cave and laid down in her bed. It was made of animal skins and leaves. It was comfortable to her, she had never known anything else.

Iofiel stood still for a moment, in shock from Sam turning and looking at her. It didn't seem like he wanted to, but having him turn around at least made her very happy. "Uh, I... I... I just wanted to let you know that I think you need to stay. Having these humans here, it's dangerous to Aakosir and I. We only have two in what can't even be called a pack. We.. we need a pack to stay alive. If you wouldn't mind... We could use you two. Anna could still go to her school. And she could come back by herself. It would be simple. Or we could send an escort..." Iofiel trailed off, knowing she was rambling. Hopefully, she stared into Sam's chocolate brown eyes, her world was lightened. The burden on her shoulders was almost lifted, and she started finding it hard to breathe. Iofiel Knew she was in love.

Sam stopped for a moment, his eyes far off in thought. His eyes snapped to hers after a few moments. "Ill see what I can do. I hold a job with the humans. I have enough money to build a cottage in one of the clearings. Once I buy the land it should be safe from the humans. But for now Anna and I will have to get home. Ill..... visit tommarow." Sam smiled and turned around.
Anna smiled at Iofiel too and waved. "Ill come after school to play too! Take care now miss Iofiel!" Anna skipped next to her brother, seeming smaller than she actually was because of Sam's massive form. Once they got home, Anna jumped on the couch and flipped on their little TV. "Sam! If we are so rich according to the humans, why do we have this cheap crap?" Sam didn't even look at her, he just went to his room and gently closed the door. This was odd for him. He would have had a snappy comeback by now. She felt herself get sad. It was probably because they made him remember Their father. Well his Father. She never knew the man thankfully. According to Sam, he was the most evil think to walk the planet. Anna just changed the channel to cartoons and forgot everything.
Sam fell onto his bed and thought about all that had gone on this day. He was going to move, he already knew that. He hated having to even think about that damn fool of a father. But was the most crushing feeling was that he felt so lonely. In seeing those two in the forest, he found that he was pushing himself away from everything. Humans, Lycans, even his own co-workers. What was wrong with him?

Iofiel watched, sad, as the two walked away. The beautiful Sam, and his cheery sister Anna, everything. As they disappeared, Iofiel considered their offer. A cottage? Not a cave. It would almost make Aakosir happy, she hoped. grabbing her kimono off her, she shifted, stringing the robe and her sandals around her ankle with the silk tie from the robe, and ran. As she approached the cave, Iofiel shifted again, grabbing her clothes and hollering to Aakosir. "Aakosir! I have some great news for you! Sam--" Iofiel found herself choking with sadness at the missing face "and his sister have offered us something. Something that could change our lives." Aakosir was lying on the cave floor, sleeping. "oops," Iofiel whispered, "never mind."

Sam got up after a few hours and walked out into the living room. He saw Anna laying asleep on the couch with the TV on. He turned it off and carried her to her room, shutting the door behind him. How could he leave this life behind? He had work so long and hard for this life and for the life of his Sister. She had so many frineds! Sam looked out the window and shook his head. Maybe he could convince them to stay with him? He had more than enough room. Sam was lost in thought for a while before he wrote a quick note to Anna that he would be back sometime tommarow and to lock the door when she went to school. Sam took his coat as he walked outside and into the night. It took him a while before he made it to a place where he could store his clothes. Once in wolf form he walked in the night air to clear his thoughts.

Stretching, Iofiel realized she dazed off, with her kimono half-tied around her waist and her dark brown hair twisted around her ears. She shook her head, only now realizing that Aakosir was still sleeping. Storing her clothes in a crook of the cave, Iofiel shifted, feeling the air shimmer around her. She began to walk toward the city, she contemplated the previous day. How would Aakosir react to this news of getting a cottage in their forest. Theirs! It would be amazing. To spend time with Sam, to play with Anna, maybe even to see Aakosir be clothed in human form. Iofiel felt the air shimmer a ways away. Someone else shifting? Not Aakosir, the shimmer came from ahead of her. From the city. Could it be? Sam? Iofiel howled, letting him know she was there.

Sam's head snapped into the direction of the howl. He answered the call with a deep howl of his own and made his way over to what smelled like Iofiel. Once there he stared at her, wondering if he should get back his clothes and shift or just stay where he was.

Iofiel was excited. It was him! It was her other half, her soul mate, in the flesh! She approached him cautiously, sniffing him, saying hello. Once confirmed by the same scent still fresh in her mind from earlier today, Iofiel wagged her tail, nodded her head, and barked quietly as if to say, "Hi! I'm so glad it was you! I was hoping it would be!" and she stood, waiting for his response.

Sam looked her over for a small second, moving around her. He didn't know why he did it but it was like instinct now. He felt the urge to protect her as strongly, or stronger, than he had the urge to protect his sister. She was apart of him, more than his sister could ever be. He gently brushed up against her, marking her as his before pushing her over playfully. He didn't want to talk right now, just to forget the world and play. He nipped her hind legs and dashed off. Tag.

Aakosir stretched as she woke from her long nap. She shook her head to clear out the sleep. She remember, faintly, Iofiel saying something. But she was too deeply asleep. She stood and stretched again. She walked over to her cool keep and got out the elk meat to pick at. She knew Iofiel was out somewhere. Hopefully not getting into trouble. She decided to check. She shifted at the entrance to the cave and found her most recent trail and followed.

Enticed, Iofiel played along, following Sam in a race. She was so close.. One more step... Got him! She nipped his ankle, barked playfully, and gained in front of him, running farther and farther... She halted, sniffing the ground. She felt Sam somewhere around her, but his presence wasn't completely important to her now. Aakosir. Her trail was fresh, like 5 minutes fresh. The cave was very close. She continued running, stopped at the cave, grabbed her kimono and shifted, dressing quickly. Sam rounded the cave entrance just as she was fully dressed, and she went toward the back, grabbed an old set of grubby clothes, and handed them to him. "Here," She said, offering them his way, "I don't really remember where we got these, but they're better than nothing." She wasn't sure if he was going to shift or not, but it was worth a shot. She only wondered when Aakosir was going to be there...

Aakosir wandered around, catching different trails. She smelled Sam. His trail was fresh. She didn't really worry about him being here, but she didn't want the humans to follow again. Lycans were made to be pack creatures, but the humans were mob creatures. They needed to create a stronger pack to defend themselves. As Aakosir rounded the next tree she found Iofiel. She smiled a quick greeting and headed over to her. She knew Sam was nearby.

Sam glanced down at the clothes she offered and shifted, now not so unconfortible being naked around his own kind. Once he was clothed he waited for what would happen next. As far as he knew, he could be jumped by Iofiel's protecter. Or at least thats what Sam thought of Aakosir. "Should I get ready for a less than plesent welcome?" Sam looked around. Even in his human form he had better than avarage sences, but his wolf is what he really counted on.

Iofiel giggled, flipping her hair around her fingers. "No, Aakosir is pretty good about strangers.. I mean, she met you yesterday, but she was pretty grumpy. Especially since I got hit..." Iofiel trailed off, looking at her leg. a large, pink Scar marked where she had been hit by the metal stone not even twelve hours ago... Oh well. Nothing to worry about... She was lycan. Proud and strong. "Here," Iofiel motioned into the cave, "you can sit down, if you'd like... would you?" It was going to be hard to have any kind of relationship with Sam if he was too intimidated by Aakosir to even think about sitting around here. Speaking of Aakosir.. where was she?
