Io was laughing and running as hard as she could, until she saw her sister fall. "Chan!" She had wanted to win the race, but she wanted to make sure Chan was okay. She hurried to her sister and nosed her, "Are you okay?" she saw the tears starting to form, "You're okay....come on." she nuzzled her sister and waited for her to stand up.
-------------------
Sengdroma stopped and cringed at the sight of Chan falling. She watched as Io made her way to her sister to comfort her. "Uh oh.." she took to a trot over to the girls. "Come on, Chan, you're okay." she tried to help the little filly up and steady her as she stood. "Anything besides scrapes?" she looked her over but saw nothing serious. "Quite a spill there!" she smiled in attempts to comfort her.
-------------------
Scythe pulled his wings back in and quickly made his way to the scene of the accident. Once he was closer he could definately tell that these were in fact his grandchildren. Once the little one was up on her feet, he looked over to Sengdroma and nuzzled her. "Been a while, Dear." He looked over to Maion and smiled, "Looks like someone was keeping secrets, Maion." He gave a friendly bump to Maion's shoulder. "Were you not going to tell me?" he laughed and looked back down to the three foals. "They're beautiful, you guys did good."

Chandra lay on the floor for a moment, eyes welling with tears but as he mother and sister rushed towards her she felt instantly better. As expected her mother fussed and checked her, despite a slightly painful ankle she felt fine.... well apart from the dirt. "I am fine..." she wiggled her wings, "...but my wings...." she sighed and tried to look at the true state of them, they seemed messy and full of dirt. Giving herself a shake again she sent a storm of dirt flying around her.
Then as she looked up she noticed someone strange -the figure they had been racing towards, up close he seemed rather intimidating yet their was a kind aura around him that told her she didn't need to fear him. "Who are you?" She chirped, interupting him as he spoke to her parents.
Moving towards her mother she rubbed against her leg softly for comfort. She didn't like falling -definatly not fun.
----------------------------
Maion let out a slight laugh as Scythe bumped into him. The truth was always the best policy and he knew it. "I would have -if I had known myself." He looked away from his gaze and to his children, he couldn't bare looking at him incase he was disappointed in him. Maion had never known his own father and part of him had grown to consider Scythe as one, disappointing him was the last thing he wanted to do.
But as he looked at his children and heard Scythes kinds words he knew he probably had nothing to worry about, he certainly didn't regret having children with Sengdroma but he did regret not being by her side, not helping her, finding her food and making her comfortable while she was pregnant. He was sure she was radiant with her extended belly.

Sengdroma watched as Chan made her way back to her feet and cleaned herself from the debris, "There, much better." She smiled and nudged the foals towards their grandfather.
"He didn't know, Daddy." she gave a sheepish smile, "It's a long story..."
---------------
"Yeah, who're you?!" Io chipped along with her sister, curious as to if this was her grandfather that her mother spoke so highly of. "Are you our grandpa?" her head tilted one way, then the other as she looked over him. He was large and kinda scarey looking...
---------------
"Long story, eh? Well, you can tell me about it later." his attention turned and focused on the foals. His smile broadened as they inquired as to who he was. "Why yes, I am your grandpa!" he flared his wings out and acted as though he were chasing the foals, "And you're all mine now!" he called out playfully after them. Laughing as the little foals scattered and laughed.

Chandra moved as her mother had instructed before standing beside Io and Mal. For a moment she didn't think anything would happen, and as her grandfather confirmed who he was and then spread his wings in an effort to chase them she found herself squealing literally like a little girl and running away from him. Slowing she turned to look at him again, he sure was intimidating yet she could see the softness in his eyes. "That wasn't funny Grandad!" She pouted before making her back towards him to bit his ankles for his mean trick.
-------------------
Looking a little sheepish again he turned to Sengdroma and then to Scythe, "I think that will be a story Sengdroma can tell you." After all he felt guilty enough and didn't really want to have to relive the tale again, even if it was over now. He couldn't even bare the thought of losing her... that was why he was going to open himself up to her fully and offer to be her lifelong mate -if she would have him.
Thinking for a moment he looked to Sycthe once more, "Scythe...." he paused before glancing at Sengdroma, "...do you think you would be able to look after the foals tonight so that I may take to your lovely daughter alone?" He offered her a soft smile. Tonight. He would do it tonight. If he could help it he would never be without her again.

Scythe gave a hearty laugh to the filly, "I thought it was quite funny myself," she continued to laugh and then moved to round up the foals to take them to the herd.
His ears flickered as he Maion spoke, "I do think I can handle that," she cast a look over his shoulder, "I suppose you to have a lot of catching up to do." he winked and Maion then turned back to the foals. "Come on little ones,"
---------------
Io quickly ran around her parents laughing hysterically as she made her way back to her siblings. "Don't do that!" she laughed and accidently ran into Chan. "Where are we going?" she looked to Chan for guidance and then to her grandfather, "Are we going to meet grandma!?"
