On the fifth day of the eighth month, in the year AC 212, I write.
My name is John Silenus. I and my family have weathered much throughout the colony wars of the past years. I was there, fighting agaisnt OZ in space as Heero Yuy and Zechs Merquise fought their last duel. I was there as Libra fired upon my home, the Earth. I was there when the Gundam Epyon brought that accursed machine down. I was there when the b*****d child of Treize very nearly destroyed all that the people of Earth had built. I was there when the Gundams destroyed everything in their path. I was there when the Backdraft group came to power, and I will be there when they fall. I will be there when the end of mobile suit combat passes. I have weathered much. I hope to do my part in the end of things. The time has come when I must break my most sacred promise. But forseeable future, and my part in it...is only an means to an end. A method of operation. With hope, Modus Operandi will bring that end about.

((before I get real involved, I'll just post backstory for my character, if that's alright. I wanna see how this plays out before I start inserting my take on things. lol))

((I missed something? I've been following the story so far... gonk ))

"So much for an introduction." Adalwulf muttered and left his radio open. He stared at the alcohol bottle for a bit then frowned, downing the rest of it. He hadn't even been in this situation to begin with, but now he was being asked to join some force that was siding against Backdraft, and apparently Earth too. Thinking for a moment, he sat in silence. Did he really want to get mixed up in it? Well, he probably would already if he had Lillia and they were doing checks on unregistered mecha and gundam. He shrugged and moved closer to the place the guy who'd spoken to him over the radio had went into. "I'll join, I've got nothing else to do besides hack or get jobs from computer geeks for money."

Kamon smiled as he heard those words. "Good, but be aware that if I have any reason to suspect treachery, I won't hesitate to end it." Going back into the Hangar where Zero stood, Kamon could almost see a faint glow in the eyes of his beloved suit. 'Zero... this will be your final war.' "Byrd, do me a favor, let Adal in, he has decided to join us. But be wary, it's possible it's a trick by Chris."

"Gotcha." Nick went back to work. "Oh and Kamon. One question. Is Chris really such a big threat that we can't trust others?" Nick looked at Kamon.

Chris was still sitting in his chair on the bridge. He was contemplateing the details of his plan. He always was and rightly so. It was a good plan. Though lately it had to be re-thought or altered in some fashion and Kamon seemed to be right at the center of the problem. He still didn't know why he had released his grasp on his suit when they fought but that was food for other thoughts at another time. Right now all that mattered was his brothers mission. If he was succesful then Chris would be a very happy man. It would be one step in his plot to destroy them all. They had no idea what was comeing.

"Yeah, he always seemed to know what was going on. So for now, no one outside of us is to be trusted." Kamon gasped when Zero's eyes flashed. 'Must be my eyes deceiving me../' Kamon walked over to Zero, climbing into the cockpit, and noticed a few lights were flashing. "Nick, I think Zero is coming back... There are a few lights on. Let's rush the mechanical work, I'll finish up the computer systems." With that said, Kamon began the final work on the computers, hoping that Zero would be back in action before the next attack. "Leave Arashi alone for now, Zero is our best bet to take on Chris."

Well Nick still didn't understand why they were so worried about Chris. To Nick he was just another guy but right now it was time to get Zero operational. "Ok everyone move. We have to get this thing moveing!" Nick ran over to his computer connected to Zero and made a diagnostic. "Ok Kamon I need you to turn on it's coolant system or the computer will over heat and we'll lose it again. Keep an eye on the offline systems and tell me in which order they come on." Nick goes over to a tech guy and speaks with him about where they needed some work and Nick got on it. "We'll have it up sooner than I thought." Nick chuckled.

"Gotcha. Coolant is on, so far basic systems are working fine. Arm functions... online. I'm going to move the right arm a bit..." Zero's eyes flashed, then started glowing steadily as it's arm moved slightly. "So far so good, but the thrusters and legs aren't online yet. Won't be able to use the thrusters for a while either, they got burnt out completely, but we can take some off some other spare suits." Kamon rushed back down, and started looking around for some parts to get the legs working again. Finding some, he had them rushed to be installed on Zero, wanting to get the powerful suit moving again. "Nick, you know those nanites? I'm going to modify Zero Taikou to carry them, along with a new weapon. One of those cannons will become a housing for weapon bits. I've got them Ready for Arashi, but they would work much better with Zero Taikou. I'll rename it Taikou-Arashi. Cannon Storm."

((Where'd Ky go off to?))

Adalwulf sat back sighing, unsure of what to do now. He didn't want to just walk in, that would be impolite since he was offered to join them in the first place. Whoever "they" were anyway. He'd ask someone. He moved Lillia closer but stood back a yard or two, waiting for any signs of permission to enter.

Noticing the newcomer standing outside the gate, Kamon turned away from Zero for a split second. "You can come in you know. But leave your suit outside for now." Kamon turned back around to Zero finishing up the last bit of work on the left leg. Well ol buddy, you'll be back in action in no time at all. Nick, Get Arashi's hands repaired, that's about all there is. I can handle Zero from now. Besides, all that's left are the finer details. And only I know how those go." The work had been done at a feverish pace, but it was worth it to have Zero back. Inspecting the armor sets, only Taikou had any serious work to be done, the others were good to go once Zero was ready. Zero Yaiba, Zero Raikou... seven swords, and unimaginable speed... these sets are what make Zero Fire a force to be reckoned with...

((Ky has to go outside to snag an internet connection. Since we're experiencing the coldest winter since '93 where we live, I would guess he's just staying inside, with no internet.))

On the eighth day of the eighth month, in the year AC 212, I write.
The Silenus family's team of engineers are really quite clever. I suppose you could say they are the best money can buy. In a matter of mere days, they have built a stand-alone structure in my private hangar. Modus Operandi is beginning to take shape. I am having difficulty procuring the materials necessary to construct the armor. I have opted for a rare alloy of titanium, which requires manufacture in outer space, well out of Earth's gravity well. I have obtained enough to construct all lode-bearing framework, as well as much of the armor of my mobile suit's torso. It seems I have attracted the attention of the Backdraft's space police presence, and aroused suspicion with the large orders of weapons-grade material I have placed. My construction contract will soon be called into question. It seems I must act quickly, if I am to begin my fight at all.

((Okay, I hope he doesn't freeze or anything. It actually snowed where I live, and that's a surprising thing.))

Adalwulf bit his lip uncertainly. Well, with the hospitality he'd already been shown, it shouldn't be a problem to leave his Lillia there. Besides, he reassured himself, he'd done that many times before when he'd had to go into towns, plus he had a direct link to her through his laptop. He glanced down at the empty bottle of alcohol. Maybe they'd have some in there. Before he could keep second-guessing himself, he powered Lillia down and climbed out of the cockpit, holding onto his closed laptop. He gave a low whistle when he saw the many gundams being repaired or worked on. "Think ya got enough firepower there?" He called out cheerfully to the guy who'd told him to come in.

((Sorry!! But i got a surprise in store.))

"Damn, Zeta's left knee is shot to hell. Oh, before i forget, say hello to my new toy." Byrd holds up a red haro. "nice to meet you. nice to meet you" "Alright Haro, you think you can fix Zeta's knee?" "of course, of course"

((lol, you didn't say anything about haros!))

"That will get annoying in time." Koza gets to work helping fix Zero, while Byrd and Haro work on Zeta X. "I need to fix the ENGAGE later, but that can wait."

"We really don't have enough." Nick came over to greet Adal. "Hello my name is Nick Kinderlan. It's nice to have you with us." Nick was about to shake his hand but something beside them crashed. "Hey be careful with that!" One of the workers had accidentally bumped two parts together on a winch. "Anyway since you here do you mind helpin' out?"

"Sir! There's an incoming message for you." A soilder nearer to the front of the triangle shaped room spoke.

Chris opened his eyes. "Hmmmm. Patch it through."

The shadow of a face appeared on the screen. "Sir. It has almost been completed."

Chris raised his eyebrows and sat up. "Hmmm. The construction is going faster than anticipated." Chris thought for a moment.

"Shall I go and take care of the situation Sir?"

"No it's about time I took care of this myself." Chris got up.

"Yes, Sir!" The face disappeared from the screen.

"Shall I turn the ship around so we may retireve you from orbit when you return?" A soilder was asking.

"No. I shouldn't be long. When Al returns tell him where I have gone." Chris left without waiting for the 'Yes, Sir!' and headed for Nisus. He was deep in thought about his mission. Chris had allowed this John Silenus to work freely for to long. Now Chris would bring down his iron boot upon their little project. When Chris arrived at the hangar Nisus was already prepared for him so he quickly got into the cockpit and took off.

"You sure? I have my hands full with just one." Adalwulf nodded his head, indicating Lillia. "Name's Adalwulf Van Zandt. Adal'll work fine, or Wolf." He winced as the machinery a couple feet away creaked. He shifted uncertainly, not really wanting the parts to fall and hurt someone. "I can't do much for manual labor, but I can help with any technical problems, if there's any." He smiled and patted his laptop.
