He pulled himself up and flipped over the edge landing in the trash. His gloved hands took hold of the radio. He pushed it up and balanced it on the lip then tipped it so that it would fall into Speed's awaiting paws. Then he scurried out and wiped off what he could of the garbage clinging to his suit.
"That was a good find, Speed."

Seeing the piece being pushed over the edge, he stood up on his back paws, front paws outstretched. He caught it easily, gingerly laying it on the ground before dusting off his gloves. He looked to the blue clad otter, smiling, "It's no problem, especially with what you did for me!"
He sighed a bit as he brushed back his hair, looking off into the distance, "I know I am weird for an otter, always wanting to drive and do things humans do, it's just....driving and racing really is a big part of my life, and when my human never came back....well, I never thought I would get that back, even if it is for a little bit." he said, looking back to the other male with a smile, "So I mean it when I say, thank you!" he said.

"I don't find you to be a weird otter, Speed. I would like to help you find a way to get back that part of your life." He thought for a moment, wondering if it would be possible to build an otter size car or go-cart. Well in this place.
He was rather touched by the whole thing. Sometimes he felt taken for granted by his friends. "You're welcome. I, too, would like you to know that I am thankful for your help."

Speed almost reprimended himself for acting like such a sap in front of a new otter, but he blinked when the Blue Ranger expressed he wanted to help him get back his joy. A bright smile lit up his face and he almost bounced on the spot, "Wow, this means we're friends! I mean..." he suddenly looked unsure, "We are friends now...right?" he asked, not wanting to look foolish over the sudden assumption.

He gave a chuckle, "I would be honored to consider you a friend." He hoped Speed wouldn't be offended if he didn't remove his helmet and reveal his face. As much as he'd like to demorph and introduce himself as Billy Cranston, it was against the rules.

Speed didn't think anything of it that this otter kept his helmet on, he was just happy to finally have a friend outside of the family. "Great!! Was there anything else you needed to find?" he asked.

"No, I believe wiring is all I need at the moment. You were much help, Speed." Billy carefully took note of the radio finding that it was more than sufficient. He could probably get enough wiring to finish the few projects he had.

Speed suddenly felt as though he wasn't really needed anymore and the feeling he wasn't wanted around anymore settled over him. He shuffled his paws about and looked a bit nervous, "Well....I better go put the keys back before she wakes up." he said, picking the keys up.

With a small nod, "I should get this back to the den. Thank you again Speed." He paused with his gloves on the radio and flicked his tail in nervousness. "I'll see you again soon, promise." He hefted the radio up and onto his back, using his finned tail to keep it pressed in place. It would be nice to get the teleport button fixed and a morphin' grid set up. A Blue Ranger's work was never done.

"Sure thing, see you around Blue Ranger!" he said and he scampered back to the cabin, sneaking in and hanging the keys back up. He then ran back home, excited to tell Morgana about his day!
