Vassune'avin enter in her face was covered and her body was in the clothes of the poor, but she kept walking till sh was at the bar. she looked around and smiled her natural grace was much more elegant then most would expect. she stood straight and walked with amazing grace. she smiled and looked at the bar waiting for a bar tender. she Sighed lightly knowing that this was the property and under the protection of Auvrea'mitore from the guards symbol and the symbol of the bar. she thought it was decorated nicely, and there was a female who also to her had the elgance of a matron. she waited patiently for the bartender.

Naki remained silent for a heartbeat or two. The mission was right up his alley, but he was wondering if the lady would actually be wealthy enough to afford that kind of petitions, or if it would be a trap. He'd have to ask for a guard from House Auvrea'mitore to make sure no trouble ensued. Or give Lyvesta some weapons. She was on the level and, as far as he knew, blindly loyal to him.
"Okay. I must make some arrangements. Two or three hours and I'll be ready. Aside from the basics, where to deilver the book and who to ask for to receive the final payment, I'll need a thorough description of the book, and if at all possible an item left by the robbers. Or at least I need to visit the room they raided. That is to pick up their scent. Half the payment now, upfront".
Naki tapped a sharp, onyx-black fingernail on the table. "And I'm going to ask that this first payment includes the amount of your tab. Do we have a deal?". ________________
One of the several goblins busying themselves around the place, noticed the new arrival and scuttled over to her. The small slave said nothing, but waited to receive her order.

"what is the strongest finest liquor you have" she said to the golbins in a soft sweet almost aluring voicce, it was not ehr voice normally used. her time on the surface taught her how to easily disguise her voice. there where many types and she liked to get drunk which si why she was hiding her idenitity right now. she smiled wondering what they would say to her.

"D-Death's Head", the goblin chittered in its shrieking voice. "Pricey, much pricey. Hu-hundred fitty golds. Ale strong too. Cheap ale".
The small slave rubbed its hands against one another. The female's voice was too nice, yes. Too nice. It sounded like trouble.

Without making any snide remark, she placed the pouch that she was carrying onto the table letting it spill over, revealing ruby and emerald gems that were cut finely as well as few gold and silver pieces. She glanced slightly through the curtain at the female that entered and her attention fell back towards Naki. "It is a old leather bound book that holds the symbol of Lloth on the cover with blood written text and their scent is easy since that shaman likes to use dreadful surface herbs mixed with his spells. And the book was taken while on a convoy outside of the city. If it was inside, he would not have made it out of here and I would not be here requesting your expertise." She reached out her hand and placed it over the one that was on the table. Her touch was cold and held no warmth inside for a living being. "Do be careful demon for that shaman tanarukk can be tricky. I will grant you a week to return here with the book. Do not fail me" She then stood up and sauntered out of the private booth, reclaiming her seat again at the bar counter.

Naki didn't move an inch when the new customer came in, but he picked up her scent, a new reference to remember. Although her parfums and other fragrances might be masking her true scent.
He scooped up the jewels and coins, made mental note of the fraction corresponding to the bar and calculated the money that was truly his. With that, he could get some gear for Lyvesta. And the guards from House Auvrea'mitore would take care of anything else. Then he stepped up and reclaimed his post behind the counter, reaching for the parchment and quill and resuming his notes. The bar had been a nice success and it was only a matter of time before the Priestess came in to reclaim her rightful part.
At some point he stepped into the backroom and returned to his post a minute or two later, continuing his work.

"i have the money is that a shot or bottle, also you should address every female as mistress or jabbress if you wish to live long down here." she said reaching into her pocket pulling out a large bag of gold, there had to be a few hundread in the bag. she obviously was not as poor as she seemed. she also had the cockiness to have this much gold on her and not be afraid of someone attacking and taking it.

"I'll just go" Izzd staggered out of the bar into the streets of Ulorbbath, by passing all the newcoming patrons. Even though they were attractive females, Izzd needed a rest. This alcohol was much stronger than he was used to. It was making him drowsy and sick, perhaps he shouldn't have gone so over board. Something he would remember for tomorrow when his work was done.

The small conjured arachnid that Ghaunkah created, skittered across the floor towards the direction of the new female that entered, pausing for a moment before climbing up the wall and over the shelves. Once it reached a corner, it began to spin a web of its own accord before resting silently. It was a scrying spider for the high priestess to have insight on the tavern.
Ghaunkah saw nothing else to see for the matter to remain in the tavern any longer and her spell was bound to end soon. Picking herself up from her seat, she sauntered out the door, departing. 'If he brings that book.. it would strengthen the house sorcerers greatly... and if he perishes.. then good riddance to another weak link'

"Mi-mistress, yes. Shot, hundred fitty", the goblin chittered. "Rare wine, yes. Mushroom, very strong". And then the imp hurriedly added, "mistress". The goblin raised its scrawny hand to receive the coins. "Shot, bottle? Mistress?" _______________
Naki had just stepped out of the private stall when he caught wind of the conversation between the new arrival and the goblin. Without turning to glance he has set himself behind the counter, and looked up every now and then. letting his sharp ears keep track of the goings-on of the place.
After a while, he rolled the parchment up and set apart a few gold coins in one of his belt's pouches. Then he fetched his coat and gloves, put them on... went into the backroom, came back out and went to the door, stopping to talk to one of the Auvrea'mitore guards.
"My pet slave will come out soon, she will be taking care of things while I'm out. Make sure nothing happens to her, or I'll make sure your Mistress hangs you all for plotting against her".
And with that he went into the streets of Ulorbbath. The counter would be empty only for a hearbeat or two before the slave took over.

It had been a while when Naki went back into the bar, followed by two orc slaves that were carrying several burdens. Lyvesta was indeed behind the counter, and she seemed fairly happy to see him. The slave was now clad in a makeshift dress cut and sewn from a single piece of tattered emerald fabric. Her hair now was of a black hue as intense as that of Naki's own hair, and it fell in a shiny cascade down her cheeks and to chest height. Anybody who looked in her eyes after spending a while in the Land That Sees The Sun would instantly be reminded of the morning dew in some deep forest.
The Wolf demon directed the orcs into the back room and showed them out, then once again called Lyvesta in. Both the demon and the slave disappeared into the room and closed the door.

she looked at the goblin before pouring out exactly 150 gold coins, which emptied just under half her bag of gold. she was rich now and could get what ever she wanted. she also in the could pull of being a bounty hunter down here easily enough. she was a good enough one on the top to not ever get caught and keep a stedy flow of money, but that was behind her time. "there you go goblin" she said still in her soft sweet voice.

The scrawny slave received the coins into his trembling hand, and counted them quickly. "Shot, yes. Mistress", he chittered before scurrying away to the bar. Naki stepped out as the slave came over to the counter, and took the coins, counting them as well. The imp chittered something and Naki nodded, went into the backroom, coming back with a bottle full of a purple-black liquid. He poured some into a goblet and gave it to the waiter, to then step back into the back room closing the door behind him. The goblin squatted over to the female's table and set the goblet before her. The liquid let off a very subtle white mist; anybody who caught a whiff might get an effect ranging from blurred sight to mild comfort, depending on their resistance. The mushrooms used to brew this drink were known to have effects akin to those of hallucinogens in lesser creatures like humans, but Drow were by nature more tolerant of the effects, causing them simply to get happy. And under-the-table drunk.

"good boy that is all i need" she said slowly taking the scarf off. she still did not look very matronesque, but there wqas obvious she was missing an eye and had a hidden beauty about her. slowly lifting the gobblet taking a small drink inhanling the white mist. not showing much of a difference yet. she was bored wanted some one to talk to something interesting to do. she sighed lightly looking around. maybe she should have brought her freind here with her. her dragon born. he would have enjoy the drinking.

The Wolf demon finally emerged from the back room, sporting the leathery black duster and gloves he wore when about to leave the bar. He stopped at the backroom's doorway and turned to give some final whispered instructions to his blue-skinned, black-haired pet. As he did this, he shot a glace at the only patron currently present in the tavern. Her manners were subtly unnerving, like something was off, but he couldn't quite place it. Maybe it was her missing eye. Drow and their pathetic regeration capabilities.
At that instant, he realized the mercenary business had lost its appeal to him. The bar was yielding good money, and it would yield much more, he knew it. Even moreso with the modifications he was planning. And living in a ramshackle tavern with a small battalion of slaves doing the menial jobs and a pet to cater to his every need, beat roaming the Underdark any day of the week. Be it the Drow calendar of the Surface.
After reasoning this, he stepped over to the exit of the bar, to carry out what would most likely be his last mercenary job.
