"I don't know, it's pretty far north. It might take all of tomorrow, but we should get there by nightfall at least." He murmured as he poked the fire with a stick before tossing it in, his staff flashing lightly as he turned to watch her as Shadow began to cook for the three of them. "No idea how long we'll be there though."
"O-oh. Of course!" The inn keeper grinned letcherously as his eyes immediately and predictably dropped to eye her body again as Oasis hid a smirk and a soft chuckle behind one hand. What an idiot. "Here you are." He smiled, handing them their keys after a moment. "I'll collect the payment when you check out." He added as Oasis thanked him, taking the key and turning towards the hall.

Knuckles nodded, snickering as she she watched Shadow make the food. "It's good the woman finally knows his place." She teased. She took out her chakrums and began sharpening them. It would only do her good in the long run.
Amy gave the inn keeper a wink, then jumped off the counter and walked over to Oasis. "What an easy fool." She murmured with a grin. She didn't plan to pay him in any way, but it was fun to see how weak men were.

"Haha. I only do this because you burn everything you try to cook, and Tassador is even lazier. We'd starve if it wasn't for me." He muttered, sticking his tongue out at her as he set the food on three plates and passed them out.
"Some people are just that lonely." Oasis murmured, slightly amused as they entered the room. At least it looked worth what they were going to "pay." "Fancy room. Maybe you better give him an extra." Oasis teased with a smirk, tossing his pack onto one of the chairs. The room only had a large bed, but they were used to it. Oasis usually slept elsewhere, to give Amy some room. They only both used the bed if they got too drunk to move.

"Truer words have never been spoken!" Knuckles laughed as she took the plate. She took a bite and swallowed, then laughed again. "The poor unfortunate soul I end up marrying will be in for quite a shock." She mused before eating once again.
"He must be very lonely then." Amy commented as they walked in. Hearing Oasis's comment, she rolled her eyes. "Ew, just touching that man's chest made me want to vomit. I'll get him drunk, then leave after he passes out." She decided, not wanting to have anything to do with the inn keeper.

"You? Marry?" Shadow asked in teasing disbelief, both he and Tassador laughing lightly. "If they had the guts to marry you and try and take you to the marriage bed, I don't think anything would shock them after that." Shadow smirked gently, sticking his tongue out at her.
"A reasonable idea." Oasis nodded as he stuck his head into the bathroom. "Nice in there too. Do you want to bathe first?"

Knuckles rolled her eyes, but smirked. "You know you're curious, Shadow." She teased, winking at him. "Annnnnd, Tassador, you're like my dad...so...yeah...." She said, laughing a little.
"Um, you go first. You know I take forever." Amy told Oasis. She could wait until he was done, but it would be hours for him if she went first.

"Shhhh." Shadow laughed as Tassador frowned. "I certainly hope not, I'm no one's father. Just because I'm old and basically take care of you two doesn't mean I'm a father for either of you." Tassador muttered as Shadow laughed again. "Lighten up Tassy."
Oasis nodded, opening his pack and getting out a fresh set of clothes before he headed into the bathroom, calling that he would only be a few minutes.

"Let's see...old, takes care of two immature people...yep! That makes you a dad!" She teased. "But seriously, lighten up." She told him, agreeing with Shadow. Knuckles finished off her food and then stretched, leaning back against a boulder. "I'm bored." She muttered.
Amy just went over to the bed and laid down, closing her eyes for a bit while she waited for Oasis.

"Then be useful." Tassador muttered as Shadow finished as well. "You two go set up a perimeter and see what's around."
"All done." It was only about fifteen minutes later that a completely dry Oasis emerged, having dried off instantly with a spell, grinning to the sleeping Amy, or at least he figured she was. "Come on, get up." He added, going over and poking her stomach.

"Fine, fine." Knuckles sighed getting up to go explore and see what was nearby. "Jeeze, so impatient." She muttered as she walked away.
Amy giggled as she slapped Oasis's hand away. "Okay I'm up!" She said, rising out of bed and then disappearing into the bathroom.

"Hey, wait up!" Shadow called, hurrying after Knuckles and grinning as he fell into stride next to her. "He's just a spoil-sport tonight, Knuck, don't let him get to you."
"Quit pretending then!" Oasis called, laughing as he sat on the bed and laid back for a minute. It had been a long day for him, maybe a quick nap would be good....

"He gets pissy whenever Twilight is mentioned. He needs to suck it up and make nice." Knuckles muttered. She cracked her neck, then stretched and looked up at the stars.
Amy returned from the bathroom after about an hour and was brushing her hair out, giggling at Oasis. "Hey there sleepy head! Wake up! We've got work soon!" She teased, poking his head.

"Yeah I know, those two really need to settle their differences sometime." He murmured, running a hand through her hair as he wrapped an arm around her waist, leaning his head on her shoulder. "Ever wonder what it's like on another planet?"
"Meh." Oasis grunted, opening an eye to glance at her before rolling over, attempting to ignore her. "We can work tomorrow."

Knuckles gave Shadow an odd look out of the corner of her eye, before she decided to address his question. "Not really. This planet is interesting enough for me." She murmured, looking back up at the sky. "Still, any particular reason you're hanging all over me?" She asked dryly. While the two were close friends, they rarely hung on each other, especially when she was fairly certain Shadow had a girlfriend back home already.
"Awwww, but Oasis!" Amy whined as she crawled into bed behind him and rested her head on his shoulder. "What are we gonna do until then?" She continued to whine, grinning slightly.

"I broke up with Allison. I'm lonely." Shadow replied miserably, sighing as he took his head off of her. "Sorry, if I'm bothering you I can head back to Tassador."
"If you want something to do, undress and dance for me." Oasis teased, turning to look at her with a smirk, sticking his tongue out at her.
