......... ....................There are so many ways...
Rose had been watching the festival from afar for a while now. She watched as a battle broke out between a woman and a vendor, apparently over an amulet...or something....she couldn't be sure....but since the woman had forfeited she was sure it was only for sport anyway.
She walked towards the festival and as she neared she saw a young man with brown hair dragging a sword towards the merchant....
"Hmmm," she thought to herself "I don't think this is going to end well," she frowned as she clasped her amulet tightly. It belonged to her mother, who was long since gone. It meant the world to her, she looked at it as it shined brightly...
"Looks like that guy sells amulets, maybe he will know a little more about this one."
All she ever knew was that it always seemed to protect her when she was in harm. She could be in a battle and she was always the one who had the continued strength to keep healing her friends long after they all should have been dead....her friends....they were gone now though....she was all alone....
She hoped to change that, this place looked like a great place to meet new people, she had to get past her fears....
a heart can break...

Di"A fight, is it?" Di asked herself as the boy walked away dragging his newly won sword. She was silent as she watched some of the action between the vendor with the amulet and the woman. It was interesting to see how the boy would fare in battle. "Hm, maybe I'll give it a go myself," she said, smirking and twirling a ninja star around her finger.((+1 point for posting Total from beginning plus this one: 6 points))

Lawrence, smiled at Seven and nodded to her approvingly. "Alright then, Seven. You're acctualy a very good fighter, I'm impressed now..." He put a hand on her ribs and in a quick glow of blueish light the bruise that was forming faded away and the girl would hopefuly feel some relief. "Feel free to stick around. If you feel up to it we can go at it again." He thought he'd offer that much at least to the woman. When he finished with her and was about to make another announcement a boy, dragging a sword behind him walked up to him saying he'd try to give it a go.
Being an experienced Salesmen he knew how peopled liked to make you think one thing then be another, this could be some ploy to get him to let his guard down but he wouldn't. Every fight would be treated the same way, no matter who the opponate was. "Alright then, its just a small two thousand pouch to play my game." He stated simply, glowwing with a divine radience, it seemed once again someone else threw him the money ahead of time, though this was a more expencive looking pouch. He was confused but money was money, little did he know someone in the audience may have recognized the boy, who knew?
"Well, then. You seem to have a friend in the Audience." He mused before turnning and walking afew paces back before twirling on his heel back to face Fen with his staff pointed, his glowwing radience already going off as he was done chargeing his Beam attack. "Lets have at it then!" He said with a booming voice.

Fen Luyen[+1 Honor Charged] Tem closed his eyes and began to concentrate. He hadn't had much practice with a sword beyond fencing, and playing war with his friends and brother back when he was younger. He lifted the sword, this time it felt a bit lighter, and pointed it at the man and then began to advance. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to do but as he got closer he jumped up into the air. [Braver...-1 Honor] The sword dug into the ground and the male swung around and landed hard on the ground. He stared up at the sky and then closed his eyes in embarrassment and shame. "It seems I've jumped the gun. I give..." ( Points + 1)

The first fight was glorious. The women fought her hardest, and Njord could tell that her swordplay was quiet refined. Though maybe she was a little too confident. He watched as her attack failed. At least it wasn't what she had planned. Then he watched the mage carefully, seeing him attack. He had to admit. The fire amulet was a good deal, and even if he didn't win, he would be able to see what he was lacking. And seems how he wasn't so good with taking a magic attack. If he needed it, he would at least be protected from fire. Maybe for a little while anyway.
He watched as the women stepped down and another joined in. The sword was nearly about as big as he was, but he looked like he needed a bit more time with it before he could wield it properly. This was apparent when the sword stuck in the ground accidentally, and the male gave up.
He sighed and removed himself from the wall and made his way to where the mage stood, taking on challengers. He walked up out of the crowd, seeing people staring at him. "Hello. If you are still up for, I will be your next challenge." He stood there, waiting to see if he would be accepted and declined. To make the offer a little more acceptable though, he pulled out a small bag, knowing that the right amount could be taken from within.

Seven had retreated well enough to safety once Lawrence had removed the bruise from her side. There was still somewhat of a dull ache lingering where she'd been hit, as if her body still vividly remembered the pain that had flared over her waist and stomach. It was nothing, though, and she was sure it would disappear eventually.
From a distance, she watched the second challenger fall victim to the contradicting weight of his own weapon. It looked like he simply lacked the proper training; or maybe it had been a miscalculation on his part? He gave up quickly. Shame.
Seven moved over toward Kyo and the man he was leaning against, it seemed she hadn't taken the pleasure of seeing who it was, and stood with one hand on her hip. "Seems we have the festival's biggest attraction."

Kyo Bell
Kyo sighed as we watched Fen flip over into the dirt. Turning his head to face Seven he smiled. "It seems we do, but you look hurt, and I bet Fen is too." He began held out his hand and a golden rod with a crystal in the center of its design and another hanging off the end formed into his hands. Clasping both hands on it he held it out in front of him to hill Fen, Seven and Lawrence.. "Heal."

"These fights are boring so far..." Orso muttered to himself. "Hope you do better." Orso said, referring to Njord. "I want him after you're done with him."

There was a greater sense of relief that flooded through Seven's body, then. She felt refreshed, a sense of renewal. It was reminiscent of waking up after an actual good night's sleep.
One corner of her lips upturned itself in a half-smile, and Seven shifted her weight from one foot to the other. "Thank you," she said, dipping her head slightly in a sign of respect.
She was tempted to throw a dull look at Orso, but suppressed it and turned her eyes in the direction of Fen and inevitably the new challenger's direction. "This one may turn out to be good."

Kyo Bell
Kyo smiled and held and dropped his staff, it disappeared before it touched the ground. "I hope so Seven, otherwise Orso here will have to step in. He's a scary fighter." Kyo laughed and then munched on one of the Gaurd's meatballs before offering him the last one with a shy smile.

Fen LuyenTem sighed and closed his eyes while Kyo's magick spread throughout his body. Once he felt well enough to get up, he turned over, grabbed his sword, and took a seat on the bench across from Kyo and watched him happily talk to his friends. ( Points + 1)

Di"So he was defeated...." she said quietly to herself. "Quite frankly, I'm not surprised; that sword is a bit difficult to use at first." Di watched as several other challengers approached the salesman with the amulet. They all seemed eager for a fight. "Still, I think that boy has potential," she continued. "I wonder..." Just then something occurred to her. If she was considering to challenge the man with the amulet she had better prepare herself. Stepping back inside her booth, Di replaced the hanging "open" sign with a "closed" one. She then went inside the tent portion of the booth to make some adjustments.((+1 for posting Total for 1/15's posting: 1 Di's first costume change!!! XD This should be interesting....))

So his second fight required him simply watch someone basicaly fall on their sword. He smiled and told the guy he had potential while at the same time, he was prepareing for his next fight with the other Vendor, this was really serious because he was about to beat off the competiton in a literal sence. That was until a man came up to him and offered to fight him next and while he was happy for all the players he was getting this one would have to wait in line. "Well, there is someone ahead of you and it...looks like she's getting ready. You'll get your chance after." He smiled at the man with a charming smile, still glowwing with his usual radience as he waited for the girl.

"I personally don't want to step in Kyo. Just... its my job right now. I do hope these next two do better." Orso said staring at the two combatants. "Lets face it though, I likely will have to." (+1 for the post)

Esper looked around him. He was finally there. The Holly Festival. He let himself be taken in by his surroundings. The sweet smells of the food stalls, the noise of laughter, excitement, and joy, and the colorful people. A cool, autumn breeze blew through his onyx-black hair, and a massive grin crossed his face.
He walked through the crowds, letting his instinct drive him. He was ecstatic. He scanned the area, in an attempt to figure out what to do first. Just as he thought he would never be able to decide, he saw a huge crowd circled around two individuals. He closed in to see that they had been fighting, but as both walked away unscathed, Esper could tell it was for amusement. Just my kind of town, he thought.
He pushed his way to the front of the crowd, and watched...((+1 for this post))
