She had taken the jacket. So Lalum was in fact not a figment of his imagination. The dancer was looking around, taking everything in.
"Lord Roy...where are we? Last I remember...I was going to be dancing for people in Pherae...now I am here...wherever this is? Have I gone...insane?" she had asked.
He shook his head. "No, you're not going insane. I was surprised too, when I first showed up here." he said softly. "Right now, I can tell you this: We're not in Elibe anymore."
She had gone to Pherae to dance? ...Ah, that's right. He had seen her a few times after the war, and had definitely gone to see some of her dances whenever she performed in the area. She was a travelling dancer, after all.
"Let's go somewhere warmer. I'll do my best to answer any other questions you may have, and tell you what I know about this place." he told her, shivering slightly.
"Ah...and yes, Rei and Sue are here. There are a few others that you know as well. Who knows, you may see them soon."

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian smiled encouragingly at Joshua. "It's all in the balance, just like standing on the ground. Except if you fall, it'll hurt a lot more. As for actually skating . . ." Her voice trailed off as she thought.
Pushing off gently, she skated in an arc around the red-head. "The way I know how to is by moving in a one-two-three, one-two-three rhythm." With each one she switched to the other foot. "Like this." She skated around him a second time, demonstrating. "Start by pushing off with one foot, but you can't lean too far forward or too far back, or you'll fall. It's like . . ."
She thought back to her time in Pherae, a time when she had watched Eliwood as the then-lordling attempted to pick out a new sword. One of the heaviest blades almost sent him tumbling forward until he leaned backwards, which only made things worse. Just before he completely lost his balance, he managed to find the in-between and not fall, though he did drop the sword fairly quickly afterwards, not having the strength to lower it slowly due to the blade's weight.
"It is similar to wielding a sword. If you do not have proper balance, you will fall or hurt yourself. So . . . um . . ."
Now the question was how to get this clumsy-when-on-ice man to learn to balance while moving. Ninian vaguely remembered someone holding her hands, skating along behind her, teaching by doing, rather than simply showing. Pursing her lips slightly, she shifted, and in one smooth motion, was behind Joshua again.
"Give me your hands, and I'll show you." Maybe this would work. Either way, she was about to find out. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

So she wasn't in Elibe anymore...strangely, she found herself calming down some. It was scary that she went from one place to another, and she had no idea how, yet Lord Roy was here. He certainly would be there to help her out, just like he was during the war with the dragons.
When he mentioned someplace warmer, that brought a smile to her face. "That sounds excellent Lord Roy...do you have any place in mind?" She then heard that Sue and Rei, as well as some others that they may know were here, and that helped her mood more. She wasn't alone, and it was a good feeling.

Lalum seemed to have calmed down a little. Good, she was taking the news about no longer being in Elibe rather well. It certainly beat having to deal with someone panicking about ending up in some bizarre world.
He was then greeted with a smile from the dancer as she asked if he had any place in mind. Roy pondered for a moment. Someplace warm, and probably somewhere to get something to eat. And since explaining some things would be difficult, it may just be better if she actually saw them first-hand. And with that, he knew just where to go.
"Yeah...I've got a place in mind. You don't mind if we go grab a bite to eat, and maybe some hot chocolate as the place, do you? It'll definitely help warm up a little." he said to the dancer.

He nodded as Ninian explained balance and rhythm..... in theory it sounded just like sword fighting.... in actuality Joshua considered them to be nothing alike....
Even Ninian mentioned the sword wielding theory and he nodded as she pondered for a second before skating behind him.
"Huh?" He questioned as suddenly she was asking for his hands, "Alright" He was up for more hand-holding, so he did as she asked.

"Alright," Ninian said after she'd taken Joshua's hands in hers. "Now gently, gently, push off with your right foot when I say go. You need to kick out slightly off to one side, alright? Ready? Go!"
She pushed off, whether he was ready or not. "One-two-three, now left-two-three, right-two-three, left-two-three, that's it!" Steady, she counted out loud, holding Joshua's hands tight, ready to try and catch him if he fell.
When they had made it halfway around the lake, she stopped counting out loud. She waited to see if he could keep up the rhythm himself. If he could, she'd try letting go and see if he could keep his balance, too.

And Kishuna fell onto his back, having lost his balance since the snowball was rather unexpected. W-what? What was this? Goddess, sometimes Ephraim could be exasperating. But the morph took a deep breath, calming himself. No, he wasn't going to smack the prince. He'd told himself he was going to be nice, and he was going to be nice. But ohhh, his patience was being tested. That boy didn't know it yet but he was going to get it later that night.
Of course, being lazy - as usual - the morph didn't bother standing up; he simply vanished in a flicker of light, coming up next to Ephraim with a bit of a dark grin. "Now that you've had your..... fun," he said, emphasis on the last word, "It's time for you to come along with me, hmm?" He took the young man's arm, tugging the prince with him towards the frozen lake; but a moment later he paused with a frown. "Ugh, skates. That's right. Here, let's get you some." He glanced around, then reached out and snatched a pair from the arms of someone nearby, replacing it with a small bag of coin. The last was really mostly because Ephraim wouldn't approve of him stealing. Ugh, morals. They tended to get in the way.
But he helped Ephraim put them on, laughing a little at the prince trying to stay up; he looked a bit unbalanced. "You don't need to worry about falling down, you know," the morph told him softly, running a finger down the young man's cheek. "I'll catch you." And of course, the prince blushed; but Kishuna pulled him out onto the ice, giving him a lot more to take his attention than being embarrassed. The ice was slick; the people skating over it hadn't done too much to make it rough. And of course Ephraim didn't seem to be very good at this.
Kishuna, of course, found it easy. The morph body tended to stay in balance a lot better than a human one did; a lot of his biological functions had been replaced by magic, after all. So he slipped up beside Ephraim, resting a hand lightly on his lower back to steady him. "Now, it's not that hard. One foot at a time.... just push forward and let your body move along with the motion. That's it."

Let the moonlight sign post shine through the clouds to me ____and show me which road to take ______No matter how close to breaking I am today.... I'll re-awaken the distant memory of that day______ So don't forget, keep it carved in your heart. -Ephraim- ((Yer no fun xD; )) Ooh, well that was no fun and obviously something Ephraim wasn't expecting. He went along with it anyhow, not bothering to resist once the morph was suddenly tugging him toward the frozen lake. The grin went unfazed but he knew well what he was going to be expecting tonight. After a moment of being dragged, Kishuna suddenly stopped. Ephraim almost toppled over him at his sudden stop in his tracks but then he was dragged yet to another direction. He was about to say something when he suddenly snatched those skates from that person..but then paused once he saw something gold shine in the person's hands. Still, he frowned. Once they were on and he tended to wobble a bit where he stood. Man, were they hard to even keep balance on land! How could he possibly think to move freely on a frozen surface? But it wasn't him falling down that he was worried..he was more worried that he might some how end up like Joshua and ramming into a tree or someone for that matter. The moment he hit the ice, every part of his body wanted to simply slip and fall. This was really not as easy as how people made it look...especially back in Magvel! How were those people able to skate so easily like it was nothing!? Oh geez, make it worse why don't you? Kishuna was just fine and the prince frowned even more. Ephraim was later held up by the morph as the small skate lesson began. He did as he was instructed, slowly skating in a small straight line, but that soon turned into curves when people suddenly skated past him and Kishuna. There was, to one point, where Kishuna had let him go without telling him. At first Ephraim didn't notice, but as soon as he started to go a little too fast and lose his balance, that was then he realized the Morph was no where near him. "K-Kishuna!!" Ephraim yelled out before a chip in the lake decided to throw him off balance all together and land him on the ice. ________ So don't give up, don't stop being strong in life __________Even when you're so sad that you can't go on The wind will blow on us_________ Who worried and walked together___ no matter where we go

Well what so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh come on. Live a little! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm betting my happiness life on this one "Now gently, gently, push off with your right foot when I say go. You need to kick out slightly off to one side, alright? Ready? Go!"
"W-whoa! Wait a minute!" He exclaimed, but she pushed him and suddenly he forced to move in time to the rhythm. She still had a hold of his hands, which was a good thing as a few times at the beginning it appeared as he would fall as he teetered dangerously. Soon though Joshua had the rhythm down pat and was enjoying himself. It felt like the first time he had landed a hit with that wooden sword on Carlyle. It was amazing; there really wasn’t a feeling like it. He noticed someone else was trying to learn skating as well and nodded at Ephraim and the man with him who was somehow managing to skate…… without skates, “I’m going to have to learn to do that next” he thought as for a quick moment he caught a glance at Kishunas face, for some reason he felt uneasy when he looked at the morph, but pushed the thought out of his mind and focused on skating. "Ninian?" He said while continuing to face forward, Joshua gave her hands a quick squeeze before he continued. "Thanks..... For everything.... I really owe you..... I'm ready to try this on my own now." He didn't let go just yet but relaxed his grip so when she slid her hands out of his it wouldn't disrupt the rhythm. Perhaps this ice thing was better then he had first thought….. Too bad there would never be any in Jehanna. Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Just before she let go, Ninian smiled shyly in response to Joshua's thanks. "You're welcome," she said, sliding her hands out of his.
It was all up to him now; she could do nothing more but skate close enough to catch him if he stumbled. She skated along for a while, and when the swordsman made it halfway around without falling, she backed off.
Skating around the lake on her own now, she did a few more jumps, though simple ones. Finally, she turned to skate backwards for a while.
As she turned to skate forwards again, something shifted. Suddenly, she was running, almost flying through a forest, darting in-between the trees. She blinked, and sailed right into a snow drift.
"Oof!" she gasped as she hit the snow. Lifting herself up, she wondered, What was I doing? And what was that? She got to her feet, brushing the snow off her coat, returning to the lake. Maybe I should return to the city. . . . I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Oguma was on watch, well actually Barst and Frey were on watch duty tonight but he just couldn't shake the feeling something was happening out in the darkness. Oguma stepped out of a patch of thick brush, and into something very cold. He looked around and was could only see white, he seemed to be in a cocoon of whiteness.
Being very cold in this cocoon Oguma began to struggle and eventually stepped out in the daylight. This isn't right, it's night and summer at that. Were did the forest go were did I go. He could see many people enjoying themselves on what seemed like glass gliding along on little pieces of metal. He had no idea what was going on or were he was he would have to ask a local. Oguma saw a blue haired lady getting out of a hill of whiteness, this person would be as good a choice as any. "Excuse me miss, but were am I, what is this place. I was just making my rounds in a forest and now I'm here do you know how this could have happened."

xxxxx"If you're worried about surviving, xxxxxxxyou can worry about it after you're dead!" "The wyvern riders of Bern sit atop the heap of all other forces on the continent!" xxxxx "You will see our power soon!" Suddenly, a man on horseback came riding up through the city by the frozen lake. He rang a bell as he rode, and called out to all those that heard. He started at the front of the city and made his way back to the lake, repeating the message as necessary. Unless somebody was deaf, they would hear the message. Hopefully, some would react.
""Hear ye, hear ye! Estarcia calls for Learania's aid! All Guild Members are encouraged to join up! Let your loyalty be shown! Report to the Guard barracks to prepare! Hear ye, hear ye..."
As the guard finished relaying the message, he rode up to a house that he had been told the tactician Alihi supposedly lived in. He dismounted, tied his horse to a fence and made his way up to the door. It was a quaint, little place. The soldier was surprised that a great tactician would choose to live in such a small, poorly village. But that was aside the point, he was here on orders to request her assistance in this new affair. The soldier knocked on the door, and waited for an answer. When the door opened, he looked at the person, and spoke. "I'm here on behalf of my commander, my crew, and my country. We would like a tactician's aid... Is there a Miss Alihi home?"

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ————————————
"I will not return unless I am needed", she had said after the trip to Sentria and the battles that happened there. True to her word, Alihi was not in the city while her brother and daughter were. Instead, she had opted to stay in her small home, enjoying the rare peace and quiet that she had.
A sudden knock on her door would prove to end that. "Just a moment..." She muttered aloud, striding over to the door, swinging it open once she was close enough to. Judging by appearance alone, this man was a soldier. I guess the time is now? The tactician thought to herself, mentally sighing. It wasn't as if she was going to refuse whatever this man was inevitably going to request; it was actually the opposite. However, it meant that her days of calm would be put on hold for a while. "Can I help you?"
"We would like a tactician's aid... Is there a Miss Alihi home?"
"You would be talking to her right now, sir." Alihi commented with a smile, tugging at her signature green cloak. "I'd be happy to help in whatever way I can. It is, after all, my duty." She flicked some of her hair behind her shoulder. "Shall we head to wherever we're going next now? You can fill me in on whatever details you know of along the way..."
———————————————— And I'm not ashamed to be... ...the person that I am today.

Well what so bad about a little coin toss now and then?
The Tempest King Ahhh come on. Live a little! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm betting my happiness life on this one He liked this skating thing and in his opinion was getting quite good at it...... or at least not falling over anymore. Now to try a graceful jump, not a spin or anything just a jump.... he crouched in anticipation and just as he hopped--- ""Hear ye, hear ye! Estarcia calls for Learania's aid! All Guild Members are encouraged to join up! Let your loyalty be shown! Report to the Guard barracks to prepare! Hear ye, hear ye..." Startled by the sudden ringing and shouting his heart leapt up into his throat as he tried to stop the jump had started, flailing in midair, his skates got tangled up and he fell face first on the ice. Quickly shooting to a sitting position, he snatched his hat up, and he looked around "Wait..... I'm in the guard.... I suppose that means I’m going to this Estarcia place…." Joshua stood up and headed for the edge of the lake...... or he would have if he hadn't fallen promptly back down again. Ninian had neglected to teach him how to get up after a fall, so Joshua floundered on the ice falling several times as he did until he finally managed to get up and stay up. He skated his way back to where he had left his boots only to discover some prankster had filled them with snow, grumbling he cursed his luck and emptied them out as best he could before shoving them on and tossing the skates over his shoulder sprinting the entire way to his home to drop of his skates and pick up his sword, he then ran for the guard barracks..... Wasn’t it a training day now that he thought about it..... Well he'd just have to pretend he had been there from the start.... it wasn't like they took roll call or anything. Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~So caught up in her thoughts was she that Ninian didn't hear the man call out to her, instead skating across the frozen lake. Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, she moved towards the edge of the lake, to where she'd left her shoes along with her bag.
Bending down to untie one of her skates, Ninian heard a bell ringing, and someone shouting.
"Hear ye, hear ye! Estarcia calls for Learania's aid! All Guild Members are encouraged to join up! Let your loyalty be shown! Report to the Guard barracks to prepare! Hear ye, hear ye..."
Estarcia? Is that another country, like Sentria? I wonder what's happened, Ninian thought. Quickly she removed her skates, trading them for her boots before walking back to Eyris.
Should I go? I can fight now, but . . . No. if I were to get injured so soon after I've healed . . . Roy and Nils would never forgive me. I'd only be a hindrance to everyone.
But that was alright. She had done her part during Halloween. And so she would wait for the return of her friends. Besides, she was scheduled to work tomorrow, if the Hostess Club was even open. I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home
