Kai and his clone all rushed out onto the water... or at least they tried until they found that they about waist deep. Scratching the back of his head rather embarrassed, Kai looked back to his friends and said, "I guess I still need to work on that whole rushing in without a plan thing, hah, hah." Becoming serious once more Kai stepped onto the boat while the clones all began swimming towards the beast, at the moment Kai didn't see much choice, they certainly weren't all going to fit in the canoe.
Looking from Yama to Kanzo, Kai nodded his head in confirmation that he was ready. The pushed off the shore and headed towards the middle of the lake, into the belly of the beast as it were. Kai's stark white eyes focused on the beast, each of them burning with determination."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

It was then that Fordon appeared to his left with the two ANBU guards who usually guarded the gates. Although unaware who tipped off Fordon, Luo was glad to see the young man he considered to be akin to a younger brother back from his month long leave of intensive training. The boy was the only hunter ninja in Kirigakure, and not only the best one Luo has ever seen but the only one to achieve the title as a chuunin. Luo would see today just how intensive the boy's training had been. Not looking to either side of him, the air was stifling as the waves and ebb and flow of water under them caused the row of shinobi and kunoichi to rise and fall at differing intervals depending on where they were standing.
Watching Tares run through seals, Luo watched the cloud rise into the air. The thunder cloud that now loomed over the group was no threat to those at shore since it was a jutsu that was used in an area of complete control. And although the control was lost the moment lightning would strike in the area, Luo knew that everyone out there was capable of holding their own against the demon and the randomized natural attacks from above. It was the three new genin that Luo was a bit worried about, but he put the worry to rest. He knew they would feed off of the morale of all the people on the water, and be able to keep up with them on a defensive standpoint. He had faith in his men and women.
Looking upwards, Luo used a distinct prowess over wind chakra to amplify the vibrations of his vocal chords. Speaking aloud as he stared up for a moment, a ball of wind seemed to rise into the air and burst finally, as his voice rang out over the entire area, even echoing out to those on the shore. It was them whose attention he wanted to get before he talked strategy with his men. "Academy students, I have prepared for this day since we erected a rock barrier around the lake. There are sandbags on the edge of the shore. Begin building a recess wall immediately." Lowering his head, Luo seemed to mutter to everyone within ear shot of him. "Shinobi of Kirigakure, this will be our second battle with a demon of legend. Let us show the Sanbi, why of the five great villages, it is our military force which is feared the most. For those of you who have trained strictly in suiton to gain total control over the element, you will be the only ones capable of competing with the Sanbi on an equal level. However, everyone else I must ask that you save your chakra and use techniques of other elements, as using suiton would be an exercise in futility. Make me proud, make our village proud, and give those children on the shore a demonstration of what it means to be a true shinobi of the mist." Raising his right arm into the air elbow bent and palm closed as if raising his fist, Luo opened the fist quickly, his five digits extending outward as if displaying the number five with his hand. It was one of the many military signals Luo was forced to learn when he became the Mizukage. It was meant to cause all shinobi to instantly disperse from their position and surround the enemy. And as they would do so, Luo knew that he would stay in his position, as well as potentially LT and Fordon, most likely only jumping a few yards away from Luo. They were his right hand men, and he knew as much as he would like, he could not get them to stray too far from him.
Chakra seemed to eminate from Luo's body in a progressive manner. At first, there was nothing but a slight haze around Luo. The haze seemed to thicken and gain a faint outline of color. The color then continued to fill in, the water below Luo seemed to tremble for a moment. The midnight blue hues of his chakra began to fill in around him in an aura. And as a final burst of chakra finished the release of his full strength, the water below him spiraled around his feet in a more than controlled manner. He was at peace on the water, and there was a bit of irony in the situation in front of him. He had gained such an affinity for the suiton element, that a name people who knew him well gave him apart from 'The Pride of the Mist,' was the sage of suiton. Water was his element, and the Sanbi's as well. There would be a battle of control between the two, one Luo looked forward to with every fiber of his being. And there was a card Luo held in his hand that the Sanbi would soon come to know about. Luo seemed to spit globs of what looked like silver-tinged mucous into the water. As the globes floated in front of the Sanbi, Luo snapped the fingers of his raised hand. As he did, one of the globs seemed to spark. This spark caused an explosion which set off the other four blobs as well. Capable of kindling an area of up to ten meters at his rank, the attack was two-fold in purpose. The first purpose is of course to scald the face and any exposed skin of the turtle, potentially taking out the only eye it could see out of. It seemed he suffered rather major damage to his left eye in a previous bout, and it was closed and swollen. The second purpose however, was to cause the water in front of him to seize upwards. It was a smoke screen so that Luo and his men would have time to attack with the Sanbi being blinded by his own element. The tactical mind of Luo knew no bounds, and as he did this, he had calculated the measures the turtle could and most likely would take to defend himself from what was soon to be an assault. The turtle would soon come to regret his attack on the people of Kirigakure. Total Chakra Points: 180 - 2 (genin and chuunin level jutsu used, chakra control modifier) = 178 E Ranked Techniques: 90 D Ranked Techniques: 59 C Ranked Techniques: 33 B Ranked Techniques: 22 A Ranked Techniques: 18 S Ranked Techniques: 5 Katon: Shouidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Incendiary Technique) Description: Recently developed, this technique is much akin to the Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu in a few ways. Using almost the identical set of seals, the user instead coughs out globs of what looks to be silver-tinged mucous. These flammable, gelatinous balls can be scattered along any area and even on other people and are highly combustible. Anything from the slightest spark can ignite them and set off variable explosions based on the level of the shinobi as well is leave a lasting flame going. Note: Genin gifted enough to perform this jutsu can only create explosions that range from 1m – 2m in radius. Chuunin can set a 4m – 5m radius ablaze. And Jounin are capable of kindling an area of approximately 5m – 10m. Katon: Tanebi no Jutsu (Fire Release: Cinder Technique) Description: Basic to all Katon users is the ability to set thing things on fire, obviously. This technique allows a person to snap their fingers and ignite a spark anywhere they so wish. A simple cinder and no more, this jutsu is used mostly in pranks and the like.

Aideen Hyuuga  ミストのブラインド娘 Hyuuga Bloodline| Academy Student| Taijutsuist "My name's Aideen Hyuuga, nice to meet you." She said with another bow. It'd been long enough for a great plan to be formulated, she went back to watching the fight. Still a little irritated, but also amazed at how things seemed like they'd go, she just hoped she didn't get struck by lightning, that would suck. That's a pretty strange jutsu...

 The sound within the lakes was hectic, water thrashed about as the sanbi's large form moved through the water attacking the shinobi who fought against it, and as those shinobi moved the water with their jutsu's. The storm overhead began it's rage in the skies, cluttering the area with further noise. For the academy students that stood at the shore, it was chaos incarnated. So much was happening at once, and they tried to hold a conversation during the middle of it.
Varro personally felt distracted, the others were introducing themselves, and he was happy to meet them. Knowing that the possibility he would be working with them in the time to come, meant that they would have to get to know each other. Yet now did not feel like that time. His eyes drifted back to beast in the water and those that fought him, he kept his attention on the skies and particularly on the Mizukage and all those that stood next to him. Begin building a recess wall immediately."Varro burst into action without a second thought when the order was given, "Come on, there are only a few of us and we need to work quickly!" he shouted towards the other two as he took off in a high speed run towards the edge of the shore. When he reached it, he leaned down to pick up the first sandbag as the explosion from the Luo's tetsu sounded off, nearly deafening all the chaos around it. Varro froze for just a moment to take a glimpse at how the sanbi reacted to this, but it was just a moment before he returned to his task.
Quickly and without much trouble he started to lift the sandbags and placed them along the shore to build the start of a wall.

Mizutenma heard Luo. He saw Varro running to the shore and started to build a wall with the sandbags. Mizutenma ran over to help. He kept looking at the fight while building a wall. Mizutenma relized something stupid in the chaos. "Why are sandbags here in the first place?" he asked Varro while still building a wall.

Waves crashed down against the shore as the waters in the lake were disturbed from all the action going on within it. Large sprays of water came at the students hard who worked on the recess wall, beating on them and adding some difficulty to the task on their untrained hands.
Varro stacked the sandbags as he was directed, soaked under the weight of the waves that fell upon them, turning the sand on the ground to mud underneath his feet. He pushed through this annoyance, grabbing more heavy sandbags and stacking them along with his fellow body of students.
"This was part of the preparation that the village and our mizukage has been.." He paused as a wave hit him, muting his voice. When it calmed enough he continued, "has been taking! This beast has been laying dormant in this lake for many years since it was extracted from Yagura the Fourth Mizukage! It has pretty much been a volcano waiting to go off!"

Aideen Hyuuga ミストのブラインド娘 Hyuuga Bloodline| Academy Student| Taijutsuist "Interesting choice of words considering the situation." Aideen said, use lava as a description for a water demon. Like she'd thought, no sense at all. She started to help, but she still obviously hated genin got to fight, but they were left. She watched water splash onto the surface too. The Mizukage had a loud voice though, so much so see was going to shield her ears before. "How did he do that anyway?"

Waves got worse. They kept hitting them while they built the wall. He said," Why are we the only ones working and everyone else is freaking out?" A wave hit him and knocked him down. He got back up and kept building the wall. "Man these waves are getting dangerous!" He yelled over the waves crashing into the wall and us.

LT held the last seal in his jutsu, so it was not activated yet, but the gigantic storm cloud still formed over the lake, claps of thunder and lightning could be seen and heard echoing through out its form. The black clouds swirled with anticipation of its attack. LT's allies had nothing to fear, for he knew the element which he controlled, lightning would the quickest way down, and traveled the shortest path to the earth, no matter what that path might be, but due to the shear size of the three tails, the Mist shinobi had nothing to fear from LT's jutsu except for the intimidation effect of it. Thats one of the possibilities of the reason why LT is called LT, maybe short for Lightning Terror... and maybe not. LT along with the rest of the ANBU, as perfectly ordered by the Mizukage instantly broke formation and surrounded the Sanbi.

The tailed beast dove into the water as the water rose above him. The Sanbi covered itself in a sphere of water as the lightning was channeled through the torrential waters. The Sanbi was unharmed inside the water as the fuuma shurikens were swallowed up by the current of the sphere. Suddenly, the sphere was set aflames by Luo's attack. The Sanbi roared inside the sphere as he was surrounded by a floating orb of flames.
