If you and Auri would like to be the ones who go to fight / rescue Asuma, go for it, that would be a good way to involve everyone.
In fact..
We can have it be assumed that Higure is dead, which sparks the search for Asuma, and the chaos in the Soul Society.
When Asuma and Auri return, Higure will have also returned, and helped the other captains stabilize the families of Soul Society.

Lol Aw, that sounds so horrible. I can just imagine a little shido crying and no Chiu to give him a bandaid and make it all better...
Anyway... For family conflicts, we could always have the usual pranks between the houses get out of hand which lead to some small fights between the younger members. While this is going on Higure and Asuma could have their thing going on. A few Captains go to help rescue them and when they leave the little pranks turn into something much larger that force the captains to try and settle things as soon as they can. This leaves the squads in a bit of turmoil, leaves tension between the families, and fits the Higure and Asuma thing into the same timeline. But hey, it's just a thought.

And I have Chiu as only 16 for her age. Or appearance-wise anyway.
Only 16 and Chiu has her medical license xD

For those involved in this if it is us we would need to have a RP thread created that could be linked and viewed detailing the events. We'd also need to create character to die off that we may or may not play (being the enemies we may meet) and possibly even a third captain who is killed off in fight. Since travels would be to huedo Mundo a battle would all but be guaranteed. If we can come up with a solid story line on this aspect then can create characters to portray that would be part of backstory solely. Family feud I suggested the sort of forbidden marriage between the families but also another option is since the main powers Asuma and Hisuga are absent both families are power hungry and seek control. They each fight to overthrow the remaining elements of sereitei since they also know half of captains are gone off to search for both individuals. The remaining Captains would have prevented a war and even come up with a treaty. The treaty could be new land provisions for each family that would have extended beyond their original boundaries.

was just thinking could even RP story but likely too complicated to have it done quickly. It would be linked backstory but one where viewer could live as if they were in moment of seeing it.
Asuma I'd assume we fail at bringing you back but find out details of what happened exactly which may just add on to what Higure would know of events.

No capture.. Two captains go to get you, you fight them both, but escape by throwing them back through a garganta.
I really don't want to draw this out as a role-play, it would take forever, and things could go wrong.
Unless EVERYONE involved wants to, and then I will reconsider.

The one with Sei everyone in the crew and their brother knows, so I'd rather not have it as that.

@Iu: I know. It's so annoying. In the crew thread we've talked for weeks about trying to do something, but as usual, nothing gets done and it gets pushed back to the second page to never be seen again. -.-
