Alcyone gave MuCephi a wide grin. "I've met Pegasus before, but all of you are such a surprise! It's so nice to meet you all, really." She offered her hand to the senshi of blood for a friendly shake; it seemed to be the way to do things around here, at least.

"And I know what you mean. I've only been with Atlas for most of my time, though I'm slowly meeting more....this is the most I've ever seen of us around. I hope I can be helpful."

"How's your face? Oh wait, never mind, it's still ugly. My eyes are fine by the way." He snorted. As Linarite sent the shower of broken megaphone at the tree full of negaversers, he gave her puppy dog look. He was doing his best to hold back from rushing towards her. He really was. The second Castor realized he was giving her forelorn puppy glances, he shook his head and focused back on Nealite and...guests?

"Tanz? Val? s**t, looks like its the negababe party." He laughed. In a way, it was ironic. The two negaverse girls he'd tried to quell his feeling of Linarite for now sat in front of him, while the same girl he was lovesick over watched.

That aside. He didn't even really register Pegasus's request, he was too warped up in his own thoughts.

"Nealite. Get out of the tree and fight me. I'd rather not hurt the lovely ladies next you with my attack. Or the cat. As much as I hate cats, I'm not one to condone animal cruelty." He smirked. "And don't we have a score to settle anyways?"

"Alcyone" she repeated one time, making certain she was pronouncing the name correctly. This girl's handshake seemed uncertain, which was odd in a sense, but the blonde wasn't going to point it out. Instead, she gave a friendly "It's nice ta meet'cha!" Even with the offered explanations, she was convinced they were lovers of some sort. Partners was really the word that stuck in her mind, since from her experience, that was the nice guy way of saying they were either dating or having sex. She was betting money on the meaning resembling dating.

Where as other scouts stood there, growing more tense as they prepared for what seemed like an interesting battle, Sailor Iris' stance seemed pretty relaxed. The only thing on her that was growing tense was her fist, which had clenched shut and was glowing faintly. In all honesty, it was the only way to ensure a quick response to any pending attack on her part.

What, what what? The guardian cat's tail poofed out with surprise as he was scooped up far too casually into Nealite's arms, muscles bunching in preparation to squirm. Imagine his chagrin when the woman only cooed at him, and Grendel puffed himself up with a disgruntled sound until her fingers began to rub soothingly just behind his ears. Though his eyelids threatened to droop, he struggled to hold onto his irritation. It would take more than a little scratching for him to forgive and forget!

"I've been exactly where you've left me when you flounced off." Grendel replied icily, and he would have said more had she not offered an unexpected kiss, and he was reduced to mindless growling for a moment. Then, with a noisy clatter of plastic pieces from the fallen megaphone, and he yowled with surprise, even jumping a little though Nealite's hands held him fast. Had that been Linarite? Well, hmph. If only Nea knew where exactly he was residing these days, she'd probably have thrown him physically out of the tree.

He was plucked up yet again, the cat was about ready to bat at someone's face rather menacingly with his paws (sans claws, of course, women were dangerous when their beauty was threatened), but it was the sight of that absurdly long purple hair that made him pause grumpily once more. Lieutenant Tanzanite. He liked her well enough--which was a lot, for Grendel--and would offer a reluctant purr as he was placed in her lap and scritched affectionately under the chin. Fine. His issues with Nealite could wait, it seemed.

The girl he didn't know was snarling at Linarite's stunt, and with good reason, but Grendel only eyed her with slightly flattened ears. "Now's not the time to be bickering among yourselves, if you haven't noticed." He muttered, flicking his tail towards the gathering senshi. Hm, Sailor Castor again. "I didn't realize he was such a gentleman." The cat said with a snort, flexing his paws as though debating.

He really did not want to stay in this tree if the scouts were planning on tearing it down to get to the girls... but how to slip off without making it painfully obvious? Not that they wouldn't deserve him up right abandoning them, of course!

"Don't be silly, Grendel. You're a cat. You're supposed to be independent, while damsels like myself need someone to attend to their needs!"

Still quite pleased with herself, she watched as two new senshi appeared on the scene, neither looking particularly threatening. Especially, as she noticed, one of them had a terrible stutter. Pity, perhaps the recruiting for the senshi side had taken a turn for the worse?

"Score? Oh Super Castor, your taunting wounds me! Perhaps, though, you'd be better off attacking Linarite up there, seeing as she's all by her lonesome, without any protection?"

Her grin was devilish, and for one brief moment, she debated leaping down from the tree so she could take a picture of both Castor's and Lina's reactions to her suggestion.

Instead, she remained perched as she was, giggling in excitement over how utterly stupid those senshi were, trying to damage her barrier. Didn't they realize that darker forces more powerful than any of them were at work here?

"Coward." She muttered, as she sat down resuming her position on the tree once more. In her fit of anger, she took no notice of the new arrivals- neither Tanzanite or the cat. While she would have been glad to see the other girl, the cat was an entirely different story. She didn't do cats. Much less talking cats. In Val's book, pets weren't worth the attention nor effort it took to care for them-- magical cats not withstanding.

(And if she had heard him, she would have informed Grendel that their cover had been blown long before her outburst, if he had bothered to noticed.)

But she would calm down. After all, a silly lieutenant like that didn't deserve her time, she told herself. In a few minutes, she would be back to her normal self. Like that, she declared with a snap of her fingers.

Her usual brilliant self, she thought to herself with a smug grin.

In her anger, she had been blinded to the attention Castor paid Linarite. (Adoring puppy eyes? Oh please. If that was what he called that pathetic look of his, he needed to find a mirror.) Yet, Nealite's ridiculous suggestion had her thinking over the boy's actions. Regarding the boy with thoughtful eyes, she turned her gaze on Linarite.

Linarite and Castor..? PERHAPS. There was a secret here, and she was dying to find out.

With a mischievous grin, she turned her attention on Castor. "Castoooooorrrr." She called out in a sweet tone, beckoning the boy nearer. "I'd be more then happy to play with you if Linarite won't." Her tone flirtatious as she gave the senshi a charming smile.

He'd been fine until Val had made her suggestive suggestion. Looking at Linarite, his blush was all but making his face as red as Valleriite's charms. After looking to Linarite then back to Val, Castor was red. Taking a deep breath, he chose to ignore Nealite for now. He would deal with her soon enough.
"Val, I would love to take you up on that offer sometime, but..." He winked, trying to use his normal flirting as a shield for his inner emotions. "You see, Nealite and I have a prior playdate." With a smile and a bow, Castor's face had returned to a normal hue.

"Speaking of which Nealite, I really think Lina as more of a threat then you. What with her hammer and, what did you have again?" A hand waved it off. "Oh thats right. A mirror."

"I really hate to do this, Tanz, Val, talking cat thing, but I did warn you." He raised a hand in the air. "After all, Nealite and I have a history. One I want to end." His voice dropped low in the last line before the almost bestial scream rang out. "Stinging Storm!"

Tanzanite listened to the Super Senshi and her Captain bicker back and forth, paying it little attention. Castor was being Castor. Nealite was being Nealite. Valleriite was being Valleriite. This was all business as usual when Senshi and Negaverse were forced into the same small area, and none of it gave Tanzanite any reason to be alarmed.

At least, until Castor attacked. It was an attack she knew, an attack she had experienced before.

The relationship she had with Nealite was a complicated one, somewhere between the usual girly best friend and an utterly dedicated Negaverse agent. Both as Ursula and as Nealite, the red-headed woman had reigned her in and pulled her back from the brink of losing her ******** mind. Nealite had given her more than Tanzanite could express gratitude for; friendship, shelter, an anchor to some shadow of a normal, human life. Whatever it was that bound her to the red-headed woman, Tanzanite moved as though it were a reflex.

She pulled Grendel in close with one arm, dropping to the branch below her and wrapping her arms around Nealite, covering her as much as she could. The sharp rocks of ice stung at her back and arms, tore at the fabric of her dress. Her voice was low, almost businesslike.

“Get us out of here, I'm in no condition to fight him.” It was a rare thing for Tanzanite to admit to her shortcomings, but arrogance fell by the wayside when the safety of someone she cared about other than herself (which was rare in itself) was concerned, “You can't take him with the rest of them here.”

"Oh, don't be so dramatic, Tanzy," she giggled, wincing slightly as a wayward hail piece hit her cheek. "You knew I was going to anyways!"

Her arm moved to wrap around the stubborn protective woman who was playing the role of human shield, and the other went out to Grendel, who was no doubt a very fussy kitty at this point, with hail the size of quarters raining into the trees and bouncing off branches.

Nealite took a side glance to Val, who, unfortunately, she was not powerful enough to drag with. "Be sure to have a fun playtime, dear," she told her sweetly before turning towards the senshi gathering, "And Castor, darling, I'll have to take a rain-or rather, hailcheck and get back with you later. I got my pictures; I'm quite happy now. Ta ta!"

With that, the orange haired woman teleported off and into her former apartment, Tanzanite and Grendel in tow as they left behind Lina and Val to deal with the clueless gathering of senshi pests.

Too pleased with herself, and Castor's reaction, she gave the senshi a contrived pout for his refusal.

His reaction was simply adorable, she chuckled to herself. Despite his flirtatious manners, Castor was still a boy.

But children could be dangerous, Val would admit. They were dangerous in the fact that they unpredictable. Narrowing her eyes, she studied the boy before them. (The other senshi were of no consequence, of course) Observing the interaction between the two enemies, Castor and Nealite, she was strongly reminded of the fact that Castor had achieved the ranking of super senshi.

Before she could contemplate the issue further, she caught the warning in Castor's words. "Castor, darling, It's not nice of you to take out your petty little grudges on us!" She scolded in a mocking tone, giving the senshi a little frown.

Previously perched upon the tree, she deliberately jerked herself backwards allowing her body to fall. In a sudden flip, she had herself land on the ground, hands down, legs bent.

Taking a few minutes to stand, she took her sweet time in greeting the other lieutenant and captain her goodbyes.

"You too! Have a wonderful night!~" She told the two in a cheerful tone, as they teleported away. Perhaps it was time for her to take her leave as well.

Great. Just great.

Pegasus watched with disinterest as the negaverse disappeared, a flat look crossing her features. While she was more than thankful that the negaverse had vanished, (one less thing to worry about,) she was more than a little aggravated at how Castor had handled the situation.

"Next time you have some petty dispute with about fifty negaverse agents, don't silently recruit the people around you to help you. I didn't come here so you could settle your argument."

There wasn't going to be any more work done here. What little teamwork they had had had vanished, apparently swept away as the negaverse had disappeared into the wormhole. She kept her sigh to herself. Job well done, Team Senshi. Running a gloved hand through her hair, she turned away from the others, heading back the way she came.
