Brenli Hmmmmm... I think that the best route would be to have a respective thread for each contest, each stickied until the contest's done... ... we CAN unsticky threads and let them melt away once they're done, right? Yeah, voting would be easier because you can just have a poll for each contest. Can you delete threads? You can just delete it when the contest is done. I like the "PV NOT CURRENTLY EXISTING" idea! xd

I agree with that. As for deleting threads, I haven't done that yet. But yes, we can unsticky threads and lock them when they're done.

ANYWHO, major posting deletes in the Contest Sticky 'cause it was mostly things I edited into the first post.
As for contestants, Tsuka-man, shouldn't you been in the list?

It's no problem. There's also the matter of invitations being sent out. I usually forget about those b/c I pretty much never send out invitations.

I'm considering assigning a guild recruiter to find potential members for the guild. What does everyone think? Anyone interested? Anyone who has time?
You can go in the Dir en grey sticky and look for members or if someone has a Dir en grey-related signature. Of course, I don't support spamming a thread, spam mail, anything that would break the ToS, harassment, etc.

I'm up for being a Diru Recruiter but as the schoolyear comes right wround the corner, I can't promise that I'll have much time... Nonetheless I am open for trying.
As for looking in the Diru sticky, however... meh... I don't know... I'd have to stare for a LONG time.
And now, a question:
Should I just delete the Avatar-Story-Contest Sticky?
I mean, it's a great idea, but there just isn't enough people wanting to participate... It's pretty much just taking up space that could be used for something else.
Your thoughts?

I'm not saying you should altogether drop the idea because I think it's a very good one. I think it should be postponed for now because everyone is busy with school coming and all. All the information can stay within the first couple of posts in case there are more members who are interested.
The thread can stay and the first post could have weekly contests, like guessing games or word scramble or whatever.

You guys, just for fun, I'll be taking guild stats and posting them on the home page. Stuff like 'Top Donator', 'Top Poster', and milestone new members (ie. 50th, 100th member, etc).
I really wish we could do the avatar contest, we could have our own avatar spotlight on the home page! I'd also like to do more with the home page, like featured fanart, featured cosplay, etc.
What do you think?
