Em saddened when she saw the skull drop to the ground, reached for it, then watched it pop back up and take a sample. Her head tilted to the right slightly as it inspected her, then watched it float away. "W-wait... you can have the whole thing..." Her hand stayed extended out to the floating probe, even though it continued to float farther away.

Fuming, his wings alight as if on white-hot fire, Rael encircles the camp with a brisk pace. His orders are clear and spoken, not barked any longer. His anger fuses into a single point of focus, one driving him onward. Only when his soldiers are at their posts and he is confident that nothing will get by undetected does he stop for a moment- just in time for Sabidan's call. Still incensed by the minor insurrection earlier, Rael has the urge to yell more, but that is quickly gone when he hears what is the matter. Eyes wide, his search does not take long . . . It is man-made, for the demons have no need for such things. It's ascent marking the humans attempt to do something.
Every attempt to conquer the skies made by humans has been tied to death. This close to his people, there are but two options. Let it pass, and pray it does not strike, or take it down and provoke the humans. "So be it." With that simple phrase, Rael grabs his weapon, never taking his eyes off the disc as it rises. Unwilling to trust more contact with the humans through Sabidan, he speaks softly. Loud enough to be heard, but with that same edge to his voice.
"Start the test, let the verdant transformation begin, and hold this place. I'll have no more corruption of my people- this weapon, this harbinger is mine!" With that, his emulation of the sun is complete, for as he rises into the air, his wings remain brilliant. Long ago he would not attempt this, but with the humans so decimated, an air force is no longer the threat it once was- if it exists any longer at all. As the disc ascends, a brilliant point of light approaches. Rael, pouring his fury into speed, races to the rising mechanical construct. In his hand, the weapon handle begins to glow with silvery light and energy envelops it. Formed of Rael's energy and will, an elongated spear forms, one with two prongs at the leading spike. Spiraling together towards the handle, the metal remains in his hand. At the opposite end, curving upward is the blade of a scythe, trailing just near his ankles.
Clouds parting near him from the sheer speed, the king of celestials feels his rage fuel him and he allows himself to give into it. Images of ICBM's, nuclear holocaust, of Armageddon pass through his mind as every missile and flying device left without a pilot made by man remind him of failure. They would destroy what little is left of this world, including themselves, to win. Perhaps they see it as noble? Suicide isn't noble, it is lunacy. "This . . . ends . . . now!"
Reaching the disk, Rael does not slow, only aiming for the outer edge with his twin-point, braced for impact and the likely explosion to come.

Thaddius As Rael approached the area there was nothing there not a single sigh of life, humanity had moved from this area soon after the portal the portal came into existence, only a very tiny force of troops was left there a single squad. Thaddius and his men were all what was left of the base at this point in time, they would most likely die here this day and become martyrs. The twin-point entered the disc, which arose some distance from the ground. The sound of metal being torn asunder filled the air for the time being but nothing else had happened. The force of the impact ripped the top of to show that the disc was just and outer shell and hallow, some of the metal fell in and dropped for a few moments before a crash came roaring up from the bottom, this was nothing more then a detractions. " Terra lay ravaged, the population has fleed or died by the foot of xenons. Its cities are smashed and burning, its ground it tainted with the blood of humans, demons and celestials. There is nothing left but blasphemes heathens and the mighty knights that will destroy them and they will no that we will not suffer there existence" Thaddius said with great passion and zeal. Thaddius and his brother began to move towards Rael and open fire, several blots few towards Rael, but they had a feeling this would be useless seeing what there were fighting but it matter not. ((It might mean nothing to you but a bolt is a 75 caliber round, the is more like a rocket and explodes a little after impact))

Degial had reacted fast enough to turn his wings into a shield, surrounding Enami. Quickly, he grabbed her around the waist and lifted off the air in an attempt to take her somewhere safe. Of course, the humans wouldn't pose too much of a threat to the angels, but he wanted to keep Em safe, just in case. After all, it was him that brought her to such a sordid place.
His wings offered protection against any firearms. At the same time, some feathers fell, drifting towards the humans. If it entered the heart of any human, they would immediately turn pious; their hatred would be dissolved and their virtue would not allow them to kill.
Degial whispered a prayer as he flew towards a small cliff, blond hair covering his eyes, which now coloured the same murky grey as the land around them. "Please, hide yourself." He whispered softly into Em's ear, his arms still wrapped carefully around her. Degial stirred her over the cliff, his wings still offering enough support to fly them both. The cliff was just high enough for a human to have difficulty climbing up or down, but small enough that Enami's wings would take her over it again should she wished.

(I'm a little confused, was there no missile at all or did Rael destroy it?)
Sabidan flew over to Rael, hearing the bullets. He landed gracefully and took out his weapon, both edges glowing a bright gold. He spun it so fast that to the human eye it looked like a solid circle. He stopped and swung it at one of the soldiers, his gun and his hands both falling to the floor.
Sabidan held out his hands and convinced the man that his allies did it. "You bastards!" he yelled with a mix of pain and rage. He hoped this would make the squad not trust anyone.

((Nothing inside it was hollow, basically you showed your true colors here)) Thaddius The man the had his arm looped of chuckled massive dose of painkillers, adrenaline and a few other chemicals rushed through his body he felt nothing after this point he swung his halberd at Sabidan, if it hit it would sunder threw him, thanks to the technology behind it. " Death to the enemy" Thaddius said as he charge forward, a massive volley of blots was headed in the direction of Sabidan, behind them two squad mates with some distance between them. There halberd were ready and would strike when they had a chance, as well more bolter fire would follow with them. " Nothing crushes the spirit of man" Thaddius yelled as he charge from the other direction, spraying bolter fire.

(Oh, you tricked us wink )
Sabidan used his wings to block some of the bullets. Some tore through and hit him, but it didn't bother him that much. One man tried to hit to stab him or something, he couldn't really tell, but he opened his wings with incredible speed and the man was flung into his other squad mates.
Sabidan held both his hands out. He convinced one man he was on fire and the other that his squad mates were angels. The first man ran around, screaming, and collapsing on the floor. The brain thought he was dead. The other one fell back, firing at his team mates.

Thaddius The one battle brother that began to shoot at his team mates soon stopped, there armor was damaged, but he just stood there waiting, before he turned around and faces Sabidan. " Only in death dose duty end" were his last words before he pulled the trigger and aim for Sabidan, he let the clip run dry with the exception of one round which he put in his own skull. Thaddius was behind Sabidan it matter not who fast he moved his sword would cleave through a wing maybe more. This is what would happen to them, they died as martyrs of humanity and they knew now what must be done for humanity to survive, a signal was being sent to the survivors. Thaddius lifted his left hand and pulled the trigger and lose a volley of bolts.

Sabidan felt a bullet go into his back. He screamed, and turned around and grabbed the mans throat. "Corrupt." he said through his teeth. "Worthless mongrels." He tightened his grip.

Thaddius Thaddius chuckled a little, " if you seek corruption looking at your selves, you scream of it. Killing a dieing race how noble and just of you, that is if you stand for that" he said voice sounded a bit weak. He thought for a moment about his next course of action and what should be done he would speak a bit more before striking. " You thinking humanity as weak and to use our bodies as stepping stone for your goals you are no better then any daemon, if not worse" Thaddius said as he was running out of breath. " You have made a grave mistake this day, you will be crushed by humanity same with the daemons" he said very quietly before he moved his hand back and tried to drive the halberd through his torso.

Sabidan dropped the man, and convinced him to move the Halberd. He held his weapon to his throat. "If you listened, I tried to convince Rael that we should side with you, that's before you tried to shoot a missile at us. Fool."

Thaddius Thaddius chuckled a bit louder, " what missile you mean those hollow tubes, if you do not believe me look for your self. You were blind by your own aggression and attacked us" he said quietly. His body would begin to heal at this point in time, but he might as grad on the conversation seeing as he could do nothing else. He would wait and see what would happen with this angle, Thaddius began to watch him to see reactions, " you have no reason to free me attacking you seeing as I cant hurt you" he said quietly before coughing.

Thaddius " It matters not any more, you have shown your intentions here, and are foolish enough to have thought it was a weapon, you knew the state humanity is in. Did you think we would destroy this planet any further our one home" Thaddius said before he rolled over and picked him self up. He looked over at Sadiban, " you should understand this, it is my duty to defend what is left humanity and you come close to our base and attack tell me what would you have done" Thaddius said as he watched him, his nager building slowly enough. ((if I failed to mention this was built near the human base))

"No . . ." The projectile was a fake. As soon as his spear cleaved through a flimsy metal shell, Rael knew it was a test- an unfair and rigged contest of will. Damn humans . . . and I walked right into it. Still, the job did not take long to end, and the metal fragments quickly become useless to any hoping to salvage the shell. The screech of metal kept him from hearing much of what happened below him, and when he turns, his fears are realized.
Sabidan, his closest friend and general, is hurt. Once again, shadows cease to exist around Rael, his wings and eyes shining brilliant white. Fueled by emotion, his power surges and the clouds overhead begin to part from the force. The king manages to pick up the majority of the conversation between that human and his general, and though he feels the urge to strike the impudent human down, he has a moral obligation to prove his point. With a pinpoint of light emanating from his chest, Rael targets Thaddius, and enacts his gift.
The ability to pass judgement upon any being, the ability to enforce any sentence other than death, is a power he uses sparingly. This time he stares into the face of the wounded man, and with a booming echoing voice, his power compels obedience of the body, even against the will of the mind. "i-I-I hereby condemn you to living death-eth-eth . . . a-A-All that is living become lifeless, all that is supple be like stone-ne-ne!!!" Light weaves into the armor, encasing Thaddius in light and energy. The power will not kill, not even harm. Instead, it offers a far worse fate. Paralysis. Despite the intricate connections of man and machine, the armor is still connected to flesh. That flesh now lay unresponsive, the mind no longer able to command the flesh, and he lay with no feeling or control below his neck.
Landing next to the bantering pair, Rael dips into his energy again, but this time enacts something he has learned instead of gifted. Here, he begins a healing chant and does a repair upon Sabidan's wounds. None are life-threatening, but all cause pain and Rael's first duty is to end that. When done, he turns and crouches upon the ground, staring into the eyes of his victim, the light still near-blinding. "Listen to me, you pathetic little contagion. I have watched your kind for all of 'recorded history' and know too well your ilk. What humans cannot control, they destroy out of hate or fear. We seek to destroy the darkness, to purge evil, and humanity has shown it is far too willing to side with darkness. Millenia did I watch, and wait. Humanity doomed itself. We only are here to end the contagion."
Straightening up, He looks down imperiously at his victim. "We are no mere angels, abomination of flesh and metal . . . I am not a soldier, I am a King. I, Rael, am the one you should fear most if you side with darkness. It is by my will that you and your kind will end. Over five thousand years did I wait for humanity to turn to good. Like a festering wound, Mankind allowed itself to grow to the point of destroying this planet for the sake of what- pride? Dirt? Loyalty? We will not make martyrs of you. You will make corpses of yourselves." Turning to leave, Rael's light dims a bit to more normal levels, and his voice is soft and kind again, as if the fight earlier was forgotten.
"Sabidan . . . I told you to remain with the others, to run the test of the purge. Are you alright?" His touch is light, and face concerned as he examines the General. True he did a healing chant, but nothing can be taken for granted when dealing with corrupted mongrels.
