"Quite. Well, maybe not so mean as just a really bratty kid," Taji spoke, shrugging slim shoulders as she moved. "I think I grew out of the b***h stage though," she added with a nod.

Taji's eyes flickered with excitement, and she nodded in agreement. "If I was the same girl I used to be, we probably wouldn't have met, nor would we be in this predicament," she said, moving forward to close more space between the two of them.

Taji fought the blush that colored her cheeks, and she smiled as she returned the nudge. "And me, too," she replied, looking over the girl.

Mara took hold of Taji's hands and pulled them around her, moving fluidly. "So, everything is good now."

Taji's cheeks flushed violently red, and she held Mara's hips as she continued to dance. "Very, very good," she squeaked, both satisfied and apprehensive.

"Different how?" Taji asked, opting out of answering Mara's first question. She figured the way she moved against the woman would be an answer enough, a light purr rolling from her throat.

"That's good," Taji said, continuing to move to the loud, fast beats. Her heart raced slightly, booming along with the base as her eyes traced the other woman's silhouette.

"Maybe we should head out soon," Taji spoke thoughtfully, taking Mara's hand in case she felt uneven on her feet. "Want to grab something to eat?" she asked, tilting her head.
