((mistah, not sure how likely i am to run into a life or death situation that tops this, but unless another crew member says otherwise I guess I can't release it...))
Masaki was beginning to enjoy himself, slaughtering zombies left and right... well, at least dismembering them. There was a line of crawlers behind him, as if to remind him to keep moving. He wasn't really paying attention to much more than who or what was within reach of his blade. Because of this, he only barely noticed the giant Club-wielding monster before it swung it's club his way. He didn't have enough time to react, so he jumped and used his legs to absorb the blow. This of course wasn't quite enough to stop something so massive, so Masaki shortly found himself flying across the field directly towards "Downer"

Damien Oweno {a.k.a Downer} Academy Student Taijutsu Sanbi
Tactical: (-3 posts for learning jutsu, reaction speed is one rank higher)
Speed: (Move, dodge, and attack speed is one rank higher, hard for anyone below Jounnin to even track these ninja) Damien was still trying to control his breathing when something smashed into him from behind. They both flew a few feet, smashing into a smaller zombie and knocking it over. Downer quickly mashed the zombie's face into the ground before rolling away from what had hit him. He stood up and opened his hand, beckoning his staff over with his finger for the third time. The staff had landed a few yards away when he'd been hit, but once again, it rose and shot towards him. This time he just sidestepped it and grabbed at it as it went by. He still didn't want to get impaled and didn't yet know why he could do this. As soon as he snatched his staff from the air, he swung it, pointing the freezing tip at what he saw was a person. When he realized it was just one of the children from the academy, he knelt down and stared at the youth. "what on earth happened to..." He heard crunching noises and turned to see a giant samurai standing at about 9 feet tall and covered in zombie remains a small distance away. what....what is that thing? Staring into the eyes of the zombie, filled him with fear, and the only thing that stopped him from bolting on the spot, was the music that was playing. For some reason, he still felt abnormally strong, and he felt as if he'd actually have a chance against the thing. Until he noticed the arrows sticking out of it and realized it was just a really large zombie with a really large weapon. Then he wasn't so sure. This is going to suck isn't it? He said aloud. He looked around and trying to find a way to coordinate an attack or defense. Hey....weren't there two white haired kids.... He murmured while he thought. He motioned for the kid on the floor to get up and follow him as he ran around putting the zombie samurai in between him and the other shinobi. He crouched low and glared at the giant thing. His staff was at the ready, the spines at the tips, so cold they were smoking from the contact with the air.
chakra: 10/21 {comments: @mistah sure, no skin off my nose. but i still get the base skills, like basic control over water (which is why i can control my staff like i can) and the ability to do all academy water jutsu, right?

 After the zombie's target managed to rebound off of the club, it's senses fixed onto it, singling it out as it's next target. Even as the other stood and ran, the zombie simply lifted it's club, not even moving from it's spot. Then, it swung it's arm, the club launching straight towards Masaki with earth shattering power behind it. If it hit, it would doubtlessly turn the ninja to a fine paste, if not, it would bury itself in the earth where he had been. { Well that was a short post... Guess I'll fill it up with some details on the zombie's power. First of all, it's exactly what you see in the picture. It may not have the finesse to use those daggers it's got, but it does have them. The zombie has the physical strength of a jounin level taijutsu specialist, just to make things interesting. But it's speed is less than the average academy student. Basically, use strategy or you're going to be a stain on the ground. Until they eat you. I think I'll wait until most everyone here has made a post to continue from here. Just so everyone can be involved. }

------------------------------ Masaki bunshin had turned just as the real one was hurled off into the distance with the club. I'm still here, I'd be disappointed in myself if i didn't seize this opportunity. The beast had seemed to forget about him, and that was an opportunity to find the limit's to it's strength. He ran up behind the monster, and after it threw it's club MB moved to climb it's back. It seemed rather unlikely that a zombie would be able to feel him climbing it's back if it couldn't even feel the arrows in it, and MB saw plenty handholds in the old armor. He would figure out the rest of his plan from there. Masaki stood, feeling rather off balance for multiple reasons. The music seemed to help him gain his senses quicker than usual, though his legs hurt a hell of a lot. "This is going to suck isn't it?" He heard Downer say, and Masaki managed a short "Ha!" before he jumped out of the way of the club. He rolled to his feet and picked up yet another zombie-sword and turned towards the monster. "What are you talking about? This is going to be FUN! Besides, you look like you could use the practice." at that he ran back towards the monster, watching it closely for any response. He threw several shuriken as he got closer. He noticed his clone doing something else, but didn't pay it a second thought. ((lol, it almost looks like my character is better suited for taijutsu at the moment... can't be helped considering he doesn't really know any suitable ninjutsu)) ----------------------------- chakra 16/18

As it were, Their positioning made it so that the other students should see nothing but the zombie's back, which is why Downer had moved to where he was to begin with. He was perfectly ok with providing a distraction, for the music played still and he felt strong. Unfortunately it didn't seem the zombie was after him. That club was its second attack at the boy, and it seemed as if he was the zombie's target. Downer began to walk toward the zombie. He'd always been faster than his peers, and he had the feeling that as long as he wasn't too far away, he'd be able to help if needed, and still be the distraction he was trying to be.

Hearing the cries of pain in the horde of undead Ginshiro looked to see a hulking zombie wearing samurai armor step through the crowd and then throw its enormous club at Masaki, who fortunately avoided being hit. "That is going to be a pain to deal with..." he said as he turned to face its back, turning his head to Hana. "We take its arms off it won't be any trouble with that club. I think those explosive tags we got will come and handy." he said with a small smile.

{ Well it's been a few days, so I figure everyone that's going to respond has. } As the clone had expected, it was entirely unnoticed by the large zombie as anything other than a slight shift in weight and position. Had it been alive still, the bunshin would already be dead, but it's senses had been severely dulled by death. As the real Masaki charged, the zombie's right hand tightened, and yanked backwards hard. Behind the boy, the large club ripped free of the ground, pulled along by the chain wrapped around it's handle, and the zombie's arm. The club flew back towards the large beast with almost as much power as it had been thrown with originally, with Masaki right in the way. The shuriken he had thrown weren't even noticed, as most deflected off it's chest plate, and those that actually managed to lodge in it's body were completely ignored.

He was far enough back to see the chain tightening, but close enough to run up and help. A quick look to see the club dislodging itself put him in a full sprint towards the shinobi. He calculated the time before the club struck and realized he wouldn't have time to push the ninja out of the way and stay clear himself. He changed the grip of his weapon to hold the end of his staff, right before the frozen spike. Downer was upon the shinobi within the second. He spun around extending his staff as far as he could., attempting to sweep the ninja's legs or trip him up. Since the shinobi was running, and couldn't see Downer from behind him, he wouldn't be prepared for the sweep. If it connected, the ninja would be sent to the ground quick and hard. While he regretted it, he had to put a lot of strength into the blow in order to insure that the ninja fell instead of simply stumbling.

Masaki Bunshin let out a sharp laugh, when the monster failed to react to it in any way. It reached into it's tool bag and grabbed the explosive tags and slapped them on the monster's head. As an added bonus, MB grabbed hold of it's head, and swung into it's face to distract it. This was just too fun!
Masaki had seen the slack on the chain tighten, but before he had time to react something smashed into his legs knocking him over shortly before the club flew back over his head. He rolled over and grabbed his legs in an effort to make sure everything was still there, then turned towards whatever knocked him down. "What was that for old man?" he snarled. Grandpa Academy Student was interfering with Masaki's opportunity. I don't know much about proper manners, but that is just plain rude. Shoving at the fool, Masaki resumed his sprint towards the opponent. He had hardly even noticed the boost had long passed.
He wasn't that far from the beast when he had been interrupted, so he was at the beasts feet shortly after it had reclaimed it's weapon. It was likely the monster wouldnt be able to respond in time. His movements were slow, even to Masaki, and it's reaction time had a lot to be desired. Masaki ran through it's legs, and thrust his sword towards a vulnerable spot near it's left ankle.
((he is exaggerating the age difference a tiny bit...His personality is interesting, though not quite as planned.))

{Seems so.} The zombie may have been a bit dull in feeling, but deaf it was not. When it heard a noise atop it's head, it reflexively jerked it backwards, driving the horns of it's helmet into whoever had gotten on it. It was a trick that had saved the samurai's life many times before, as it was not entirely uncommon for smaller and lighter fighters to try a stunt like that. Seconds after it had yanked the chain, the club was back in the monster's hand, and it's gaze back on the boy before it. When the boy charged in low, reflexes from the zombie's life kicked in once more, as the club swung down to meet him, even as he tried to force a blade through a small joint in it's armor. {Hmmm. I was done writing this before I saw Gregar's post. Guess he'll have to work with the aftereffects of this. By the way Greg, by order of elimination, the ninja that went flying landed by you. }

What was worse, Kaizen was nowhere to be found, and Robin was still playing her Guitar to strengthen the students, unable to fight. “Hot damn, this is getting ugly, ehh?” came a small voice from Yamatano’s pocket, which proceeded to slither up Yamatano’s side, and onto his wrist. It was Kuro, Yamatano’s small snake companion, who somehow always knew when to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.“Not now, Kuro, this is serious. I need you to find Kaizen, we need him.” Yamatano said, dropping Kuro into the grass, the small son of Manda grumbling about always having to do the grunt work. As he threw Kuro, a thud landed next to him- A body, bloody and beaten to a pulp. Yamatano pulled him to his feet, but quickly noticed another student in a much more dire situation: about to be crushed by the behemoth suit of armor. Too far away to do anything himself, he clapped his hands together, then slammed his palms on the ground, the dried blood on his summoning tattoo still able to serve its purpose. “Kuchiyose!”Yamatano cried as a Kyodaija appeared in front of him, charging forward and slamming into the samurai. Ordinarily, Yamatano would have summoned Baselin for doing a job like this, but Baselin could not fight constantly the way he already had been. Yamatano dashed forward, daggers drawn, ready to finish off the behemoth. As for the student under it........Yamatano could only hope he had the good sense to dodge.
Meanwhile, Kuro navigated through the blood stained grass, tasting the air to pick up where Kaizen had gone. He made his way towards a now blasted to smithereens hut, careful to avoid being stepped on.
(Ugh, this has to be one of the WORST posts I've ever made, but in my overtired state, I cant think of anything else. I promise the next one will be better, but bear with me)

{ Wouldn't that snake be effectively eating Masaki? And the one on the zombie's back is a clone of Masaki, while the real Masaki is between it's legs. Damien is lying on the ground several feet in front of it. }
