Orcus stood up from his seat and walked out with the glass full of water. He went around the bar to it's side and drank the water slowly, waiting around for something.

Lotus watched the man in wonder, thinking it weird for him to be walking around absently. She was quite weird herself, but she was weirded out easily by others as well. It was strange.

Koka looked over at the girl that walked in. She seemed pretty young to be in a bar, but he didn't necessarily care. He, himself, was right at the drinking age. However, he wasn't too fond of alcohol.
He glanced nervously at the other man at the bar and then back at the glass, putting both hands around it and taking a few sips.

"I need to go for supplies. Stay here if you wish, but if you do leave, be careful." Axel left his grotto, heading north to Nall, wearing a cloak with his jacket, and gloves to cover his metal arm. Instead of his saber, he carries a concealed short sword. He heads to a local bar for a drink one that only has a few others in it. He sits at a table, seeing the state alchemist at the bar itself. *This is bad. If I'm right that's Orcus* He orders a weak saki, and sits for a bit, looking down to avoid showing his face to a state alchemist.

"Ah...okay then..." Maria's reply echoed around in the cave, directed at the person who just left. She sighed and sat down on the floor, wondering what to do. Then she remembered that all her stuff wasn't with her, as if its missing weight wasn't hurting her back. Taking out a piece of chalk, she wrote a note , talking aloud to herself as she went. "Went...to get...my stuff from...the tree I climbed...Will be...careful...Maria." For no reason at all, she drew a squiggily octopus next to the note, then stood up and looked around. She moved a wooden ladder underneath where she thought the hole was, then used the canvas with the circle on it to re-open it, making stone rungs to grab. She clambered out, then closed the hole again before heading southward to find her backpack she'd left.

-Strider walked into a town called Nall. He was looking for the X-blade alchemist. He headed to the bar to get a drink and maybe get some info. When he walked into the bar he saw a familiar face- "Well well if it isn't the Black Hand Alchemist." -Strider sits next to him- "What brings you to a place like this?"

Orcus looked over and whispered. "You know better than to speak my code in such a place. Have a seat and be quiet. We have bad company."

*thought confirmed. And another just joined him. this just got a whole lot worse* Axel finishes his saki and walks quietly out of the bar, leaving payment on the table. He goes to a nearby book store, and waits for an old ally. "Defection is a hard act to pull, isn't it, Aravel Black?"
"Indeed. But you're late."
"Oh, c'mon had to have some of my facorite drink. Saki is hard to come by out o the military."
"You don't change, Axel Blaze. But I expected that." Aravel reaches into a box and lifts out a bottle of Axel's favorite saki. "A token of trust, and an old friendship rekindled."
"Well, we need to leave, and fast. Orcus and Strider are in a bar just down the street, and I really don't see any way of getting past them"
"They haven't yet learned of my defection, so if I pretend to have arrested you, we can avoid capture from the both of them."
"Then you'll have to kick my a**, and you need to be bloody, too. But a fight here won't get us anywhere. let's go to the north end of town. Take a seperate route, and leave before I do. That way It won't look staged."
"Or perhaps....this!" Aravel grabs Axel and throws him out the window, then follows, drawing his rapier
*that punk* Axel kicks up and draws is short sword. "Very well, if that's how it is, you won' take me alive!"

((I think that I might bring a second charrie into this, I can't stand not playing opposite characters...If it's okay with Orcus first.))
Maria crept through the trees, trying to make little noise. Of course, every footfall sounded like a boulder falling down to her. Eventually, she made her way back to the clearing she was in before. She decided that walking across the open area would be a bad idea, so she went the long way and hoisted her heavy pack onto her back. Looking around, she headed back north to where Axel's hidden cave was.
