Niko watched the fae curiously, she seemed so very timid and he couldn't help but feel sorry for her. "Come." He said as he turned to head back to the den the pack was staying at for now. He liked to keep the pack moving, it wasn't safe to stay in one place for too long, but it was spring and in spring they stayed at the main den, the biggest den so if any fae should have pups they would be safe. Niko didn't have a mate, nor any pups, but he kept up the tradition regardless. "The herds have returned for the warm season, we have plenty of food." He told Alumina as he trotted on slowly. "You may have some leftovers from our last kill."

Alumina took this her que that she could stand. She arose onto her fours and followed behind him. She stayed behind at a respectable distance. She had learned nevr to disrespect the alpha, even if it was only an accident. She cringed at the memory. She listened to his offer of leftovers. She wasn't really hungry. Her stomach had gotten quite used to going without any sort of food for a while. Though, she would need to eat eventually. So, she decided to take the offer. "You are very generous. I am forever in your debt," she said as she looked at the sapphire skies through the tree tops.
The sounds of this area continued to fill her ears. It began to sound sort of like a song to her. She looked down at the ground and chuckled at the little birds and creatures scurried across the path the two wolves walked. Everything seemed so peaceful. It sort of made her a tad sad. She began to wish that her life had began here instead. Her life wouldn't have had so many hardships.
Other things began to grasp her interest. She saw....flowers. She had never seen such things before. She tilted her head to the side as she walked.Alumina

Niko kept on at a steady pace, making sure the others could follow if they wished. He led Alumina to the heart of his territory, his tail swaying behind him. the was a large mound of dirt off in the distance, the remains of their last meal buried to keep it safe and fresh. "There," He pointed with his snout to the large mound. "You can have whatever is left."

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth [Memories] are nice, but that's all they are. The alpha said that everything was alright. He probably did that since he was distracted and needed to keep his attention on the loner wolphess. Maybe he didn't say anything else because he was distracted. Maybe if the thing wasn't so serious maybe he would have said something to Khristine. Maybe it did bother him the fact that she had.
Khristine had stayed quiet and even more distant while the alpha took care of things, since it would be worse if she just left at the moment. She was sittingand had her head facing the ground. She heard what he had to say, and it seemed he welcomed the wolf who was said to be named Alumina. She of coursed was glad that there would be more wolves in the pack, which meant the pack was growing, but it's not like her opinion mattered to him, or to anyone probably.
Khristine tended to think too much off of things, which was why sometimes she didn't evne listened to herself. But when she did, she would let it bug her for quite some time till she actually would find a distraction that woud make her forget her own thoughts.
Soon enough, the alpha was done and had offer Alumina some food. He was then headed back to the den and he had turned and passed right by her. She stayed the way she was. Not even looking up at him, almost even to seem as if a bow, but she hadn't meant it like that. Alumina passed by her as well, but it seemed she actually intended on being the last, but it was obvious Khristine wasn't moving any time soon so she had continued.
Khristine sighed deeply as the others were already in a distance, but when the air was let out, it seemed to have changed and a low whine was heard. It wans't intentional, but it did happen. She would have ot return soon enough, so she went back to where the alpha had taken her. To the main den, though not actually in it.
When she arrived the area, she kept her distance and looked aorund. It seemed no one was keeping a watch and the things going around. Khristine decided to stay there and keep watch over everything and everyone in case of anything. She laid down and put her head in her paws as she looked around. When she had thought to hear somehting odd, she would raise her head, and take a look around, but it always turned to be nothing, so she returned her head down again and again.• . ° . •

Alumina continued to follow him as he lead her. She looked around making sure that she memorized small things that could help her find her way back if she went off somewhere. She looked in the direction that he had pointed and saw the mound. She bowed her head slightly to show her thanks even mor than she already had. She slowly made her way over. She then began to paw at the dirt to gently uncover the remains that the alpha said she could feast on. When it was uncovered the scent wafted through her snout. Just by lookin at it she couldn't tell what it used to be, but she didn't care. She then began to tear at the leftovers with her sharpened canines. She didn't eat very much. So, when she was finished she recovered it. There was pleanty left for some other wolf of this pack to eat. Alumina

Ty was just returning at this time. He had stayed behind.. He couldn't proceed, just not yet. He needed to stay behind, he had so much on his mind... Then a refreshing gust of spring air rushed threw his fur, delighted he rose on all fours and inhaled the fresh air. On his exhale Ty had thought about everything...This new wolf, what feelings he had for her. His past started to eat at him a little. But he shrugged it off. He didn't want to think about that... But he did want to thing about... "Alumina" he said to himself quietly. Something about her intrigued him... He had to learn her story, he told himself. His mind would fluctuate indecisively of how he would just approach her. He didn't want to walk over to her and just pry her of her past. That would be extremely rude.... "This is insane" he said to himself. "I'll watch her for another moment or two and hopefully find the words that I should say." The fox watched Alumina eat, wondering how he would approach her... But before he could think of anything, she was already covering up the left overs. "oh no" he thought. He didn't want to miss his chance to talk to her alone as he was sure the alpha would approach her again sometime soon. So Ty, without a plan or any idea of what he was going to say approached the new wolf... He cleared his throat and then spoke "Um...Hi Alumina..." He was so nervous he could barely speak. "I'm uh.. Ty and I wanted to know..." The words "I wanted to learn a little bit more about you" were stuck on his tongue and he could not speak them... For the sake of making things awkward he quickly spoke forth again. "I wanted to know how your meal was..?" "Dammit!" He thought, this is not what he wanted to ask. His ears flicked back for moment because he was irritated with himself. But he did not want Alumina to notice and think something was wrong, or at least he had hoped she didn't see that. So in flicked his ears forward tentatively so that he may hear her better.

Alumina jumped and turned around, her eyes narrowed on whomever had spoken to her. Then, she relaxed seeing as it was merely the fox from earlier. She sat down and licked her chomps as she listened to him. She tried not to laugh as he stumbled with his words. She tilted her head to the side at his question. It was very odd, but she ignored that. She decided to be polite and answer. "After going quite some time without eating anything it was rather enjoyable," she said as she licked the fur of one of her paws, cleaning it. She directed her onyx eyes at him. For some strange reason he seemed very nervous. She decided not to pry by asking as to why he was acting this way. No male of any species had acted thusly in her presence. It was extremely peculier. Niko watched for a moment as the fae ate, not bothering to linger for too long. He loped slowly across the pack's claimed resting area and saw Khristine. his tail wagged momentarily, until he realized he was doing it. "Do you mind if I join you?" He asked, taking a seat next to her anyway, he'd move if she didn't want his company. he had always admired Khristine, they grew up together. His parents the Alphas hers were betas, so he knew her prettly well and it was safe to say she knew how much of a real pup he was. He liked to think he matured a bit, taking on this new position of power, but he still had his moments of uncertainty even if he hid them from the rest of the pack.

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth [Memories] are nice, but that's all they are. Hearing the alpha, Khristine looked back, up at him, "No, O great Iki," she joked. Iki was a nickname Khristine had given Niko when they were small pups just to annoy him. She managed to go from Niko to Niki to Iki. She used to love annoy him, and they both chased eahc other a lot, and battled a lot. Obviously, Niko won, but there were also times where Khristine won, leaving him pinned down on the floor with his back to the ground and with his eyes wide opened in surprise. She lvoed seeing tha face. It made her happy to know tha tnot always guys won.
They also had some awkward moments when one sometimes tripped and they fell together and ended up too close. The first times they found it grose, and the other had germs like all small kids do. Later was when the awkwardness arrived. The problem was that Khristine was and is the clumsy one, so she worried at times that maybe he thought she had done things on purpose, but as always, she always thought too much out of things.
She laughed at the words she said, and at the fun memories that word had. Niko was a huge part of her childhood, but since he had become an alpha, they started growing distant, though of course they sometimes joked aronud a bit, bringing the memories back. But Khristine is glad that Niko got such position, and she's very proud of how he has grown and how he has taken care of the pack, even if it's a small one. Soon, and hopefully, the pack will grow and she's confident enough to know that he will know how to deal with things.
She didn't know much else what to say, so she looked at the scene in front of her, watching the day pass by, the pack around the area, the other animals continuing on with their life and the cycle continues, and so on.• . ° . •

Niko made a face at her, very unalpha like before laying beside her with a sigh, resting his head on his paws. "So how are you?" He asked, looking over at her, not bothering to lift his tired head. Being alpha was exhausting but somehow Khristine always made him feel better. He rolled over onto his side, pushing his legs into her playfully as he waited for her reply.

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth [Memories] are nice, but that's all they are. She laughed as well at his face and th esudden sigh. He seemed exhasuted and restless, but one could know that no matter how tired he is, Niko will always do what he must. "I'm good," she replied, "What about you?" she asked. She did worry about him sometimes since he cared more about his pack than himself, and someone needed to make sure he was okay.
"Ugh!" she said at the push she received from his legs, and her body responded on being pushed back and turning to the side like Niko was but facing him. She glared at him and then got on top of him diagonally, with her feet at the other side touching the ground and she but lightly his ear. She wasn't exactly bitting him, just had his ear in between her top and bottom teeth, with no force, just a small grip and trembled it a bit playfully with a low growl like she used to do when younger.• . ° . •

"Tired." Niko admitted when Khristine asked how he was. He growled playfully when she nibbled on his ear, nipping softly at her neck in return stopping after a few moments, laying there to gaze at the sky. " I can't do this on my own." He confided, wondering how she would react to this, but being a lone alpha was exhausting on him, never a moments rest, even thought the pack was small he needed to tend to everything, rarely getting time to himself.

Khristine Elizabeth Klyth [Memories] are nice, but that's all they are. Khristine laughed at his nibbling. When he stopped she threw herself cautiously to the side and rolled till she was upside down with her feet in the air and he rhead back almost touching the ground looking at Niko. He seemed to be upside down, though she was the one who was upside down, "Well you should rest more. Relax..." she replied, though she hoped he wouldn't take it the wrong way and stressed out over what she said. An example might be like 'Oh, I'm an alpha, I can't relax, I have to watch over the pack, and blah blah blah' she thought, "You don't have to over-work, ya know?" she said piecefully. It was like two friends talking all over again. She was glad, and she was very happy as well.
His comment on how he couldn't do it alone caught her slightly off guard but she chuckled lightly, "Then choose your alphess, silly." she aid like if it wa that easy, and it was unless, "Well, if you've found someone who's good enough, I mean..." she added. Hopefully he would find someone who would love him and take care of him, and help him relax and show him that being an alpha isn't all hard work, that one can relax and chill out form time to time, Like... she thought but didn't have the courage to finish the thought. Little had she noticed that while she was thinking, her face showed how lost she was inside, and hopefully Niko wouldn't notice and worry, even if he didn't have to.• . ° . •

"well.. um good, I'm glad you had a good meal" He had chuckled playfully, for he now was becoming comfortable in this conversation. He sat down before her, a smile escaping his maw he looked at her with his bright green eyes. The fox could feel his body warm up, his heart quicken in pace. Ty was beginning to like this wolf. Although he had no idea what it meant to like another creature for he lived life mostly in solitude. He only knew that he wished to spend more time with her. In his suave voice he complemented the wolf "I don't mean to sound to forward or anything... but you have a beautiful voice" he said. His smile now turned to large grin. He had felt a little embarrassed to be honest. His ears flicked back bashfully as he moved the dirt beneath his paws. He had hoped she wouldn't mind a complement so soon.
