Shin moved through the trees, her head low, scents tugging her attention here and there, jumping from bush, to tree, to sky, to bird, to stone.. She felt like a hyper active child, the life and light around her seeming to infect her blood, making her tail twitch and her muscles jump.
She found the water quickly, dipping her muzzle into the cool stream. She drank, her body crouching some, eyes roving about the trees, seeking, searching.
She caught movement, her eyes fixating on what looked like a curved stick, until it lifted, revealing itself to be the antler of a young buck. His eyes were wide, nostrils flared, panic in his blood from her scent.
She stayed still, staring at him. To far to jump, he was, from the look of his spindly legs and tightly muscled haunches, much faster than her. They both seemed frozen, him in fear, her in uncertainty.

Damian opened his eyes, wincing at the light. He didnt move, pain seemed to throb from every joint. He felt sticky, the blanket around him wet. It took him several moments to realize it was his own blood.. which was also the reason for his light-headed-ness. He cursed the ingrates that left him there, bleeding, before he remembered those 'ingrates' were dragons.. who he had caged and abused.
He tried to rise, panic starting in his blood, but quickly fell back, gasping in pain.

His ears swiveled and swirled, flicking this way and that, though his eyes remained on her. She watched him, judging distances, ranges. If she had wings she would make it, but by the time she reached him, he would be gone.
Her tail flicked with irritation, and he spooked. She lunged as he jumped away, but his bounds were longer and faster. She landed with a heavy thud across the stream and was after him, her run no where near as fast as his.
She lost him to the trees.

Nat was still asleep, curled against the wall, her face tucked under her arm, shielding her eyes from the sunlight trickling into the cave.

Nat's eyes fluttered open as she felt Raiel. She blinked, before jerking upright, her eyes wide. It took her a moment to remember the previous day, the flight, everything. She relaxed some, leaning back on her arms, before her eyes shifted to Raiel.
"What?" She blinked again, the suddenness of her waking seeming to fade, leaving her rubbing the grogginess from her eyes.

The sound of laughter filled the land as a rough and rebelous looking red head walking along the old ground. Her delicate yet callassed hands clutched at her sides. She was walking a head of a dragon that was over four times her height. Her dim golden eyes seemed to glow brightly as she laughed. The majestic beast behind her only rolled his eyes at the girl that was ahead of him.

This was a norma day for the two odd friends. Though, neither of them would have it either way. Then, Vexis stopped in her tracks and began to look around. Her ears seemed to twitch slightly at the sound of a herder yelling. She walked through a line of trees and dense shrubbery. She peaked through a small gap and snickered at the poor man's misfortune. A dragon had come by and grabbed a snack. She felt for him, but she also found it funny. Maybe karma was coming back to n** as his tail.

Vexis shot a look back at her dragon friend Kai. He apparantly had decided to stay in his dragon form. She never really understood how his mind worked. Maybe she never would, but she wasn't complaining. The two had been friends ever since Vexis could talk. She began to laugh once more at both of their reactions upon first meeting eachother. Kai had looked ill and Vexis wouldn't leave him alone. She missed those times. Yet, she was completely content with how things were now.
