Random discussion? Is that a new oxymoron?

I find it quite immature that you went and deliberately remade a thread that I had already locked because it was spam. Why is it spam? Because it has no discussion. "Random discussion" isn't going to cut it as an excuse.

I would also like to remind you (I'm getting sick of repeating myself to you as well) that I LOCKED the topic. Key word: LOCKED. That is because I am unclear as to what other moderators think of these "random" topics, so if they felt it didn't deserve to be locked, they could unlock it and open it again.

If the other mods believe that Paradox's thread should not have been deleted, then, by democratic right, the thread will be re-opened. On the other hand, your topic DESERVED to be locked and deleted--- whether it had this "random discussion" or not. You don't deliberately make a repeat thread of something that's already been locked, just because you don't think it deserved to be locked. neutral

Edit: Crap... I just realized that I deleted Paradox's thread after I deleted Toasts. >< Alright, if the other moderators feel that Paradox's thread is not spam, I will personally PM Paradox myself and inform him that he may re-make his thread if he wishes. I greatly apologize for my mistake of deleting his thread as well.

Well reposting the "re-make" thread had an effect then since you went out of your way to delete it O.o

I would like to announce that I have temporarily banned Untamed Toast until this upcoming Sunday as a warning. When Sunday arrives, I will send him an invitation to come back to the guild. If any more of this is to continue, I will speak with other mods about possibly permanently banning him or giving him a second, and longer, banishment for discipline.

And just so people don't jump to conclusions, it was NOT because I have a personal grudge against him.

He was asking for it... and I honestly felt that none of the other mods would have taken action against him (besides talking to him over and over and over again). Personally, I'm sick of his bickering and problems with authority. His banishment has been earned; as Cerebral said, he was pushing his luck. I repeat, this was NOT because of personal grudges against him. If I had seen him treating another mod the way he has treated me, I would have still done the same.

I'm not going to say this was an abuse of power--- because it isn't. As I've said many times before, I'm just doing my job.

Hopefully no one will get too angry with me, because I meant no harm to anyone else by doing this.
