Kain's expression seemed to have lost it's smile, but that was after Akita managed to slip his mask back on and before he even asked. Again, he just stared at her dully, though it was hard to see the expressions his eyebrows make underneath the mask. "I didnt ask für your life ztory." Kain was searching for one simple answer that he could agree on. It was clear that he got lost in Akita's large explanation, but understood what she meant. He just gave a little nod, closing his eyes a little bit, still keeping his stern presence about him. Again, Kain made the area silent with his chilling presence, not really saying anything. After a long wait of standing in the fountain, it was then Kain roughly placed a finger underneath Akita's chin to crank her head up to look at him in the eyes, still looking stern stern, until he made a move to pull Akita closer by her waist and kiss her on the lips.

Akita sighed softly, "I'm sorry then.." She loosened up her tensed muscles and let him lift her chin, taking in his expression carefully. Akita allowed herself to be pulled closer to the male whom seemed to tower over her. Feeling his lips against her own Akita returned the kiss, her arms coming up for her hands to cling onto him. She couldn't really explain how she felt in little works, words that would bear great meaning to Kain anyways. "I love you.. because I do." She closed her eyes and gave him a soft smile.

Kain doesnt seem to react much to being responded to, but it was obvious he was in some sort of deep thought Of course, he wasnt going to say what he was thinking. He just kept Akita close and his thoughts closer and personal, all while now raising a hand through Akita's hair and to the back of her neck like he's exploring some foreign object before him. Inside his mind, Kain struggles with those thoughts and wrestles with the half that still wants to be with Vempyremon and the other that doesnt know what to do. He mumbles some German words to himself and looks Akita over. It's obvious that he's at least trying to keep himself away from what was before; if not for himself, then for Akita. Even his eyes show the struggle within, despite how cold they are.

Akita rested against Kain, looking up at him for a moment. She knew he still had feelings for Vemp, it wouldn't be changing anytime soon especially after what she had been told by Vemp upon recieving the letter. She herself knew how long it could take to get over something or somebody. It was a hard struggle. Slowly she raised her good arm up and let her fingertips run softly along Kain's jaw-line a subtle smile creeping across her lips as she turned her head away to stare up at the moon. It was a beautiful night. The air fresh and crisp but not too cool. Aside from that she tried to remain as still as possible before Kain. "As the sun shines upon the cold and unwelcoming ice, it will shine more brilliant and wondrous than before." She whispered softly.

Kain lowered his head more than it was now, allowing his hair and mask to shadow his face, still his eyes shone brightly beneath them, and they were looking at Akita, not bothering to look up at the moon. "Ich weiß nicht..." He sighed, realizing he was speaking nothing but German blab again. This would be the only time he doesnt seem as intimidating around anyone, then again, this is the first time. "I dont know." Kain repeats what he said in German into English so that it didnt sound like random chatter to her. He decided to keep Akita close and with a small hug even which lasted for a while. "Vhat should I do?" Again, he spoke softly as if it werent his own voice. He was looking for a blunt answer; he liked that, still looking for some sort of guidance.

Akita turned her attention back to Kain looking him in the eyes, such a strong colour. "What should you do.." she muttered faintly. She recalled all the times that people had told her to not give up. She knew she had to be blunt, she was most of the time anyways, she'd been blunt to Kain before, even gone so far as to hit him to get her point across. Not that it seemed to phase him right away, it'd taken a moment to set in. Akita closed her eyes hiding their green colour which seemed darker in the nights light. "You should.." She paused taking a moment to get the nerve to say what she was about to. Reopening her eyes she finished, "You should give me a chance.. You'll never move on if you keep lingering Kain."

Kain shut his eyes tightly and clenched his teeth, knowing that's what Akita was going to say. He didnt need to be hit this time to understand; many others have told him the same thing, to "move on". But he still didnt want to believe it. Kain stood back a little bit with a clenched hand to his head. It struck him more than he wanted it to, trying to get a hold of himself now. His eyes opened and moved to Akita again, knowing how much of a stubborn "goat" he was being, but this time, didnt want any body to see. So he had only one way to hide... Kain straightened himself up a little bit and stood closer to Akita again, taking hold of her upper arms before giving another kiss, on the cheek this time, then stepping back once more. "...I'll try. Ich werde es versuchen..." With that, Kain stretched his wings out and gave a powerful flap to escape into the sky, leaving Akita there for the rest of the long night.

Akita accepted the kiss on the cheek with a smile, "Thank you Kain." She stood there for a moment watching him as he took flight. Closeing her eyes she spread her own wings letting the wind brush against them. It'd been so long she figured she'd forgot what it was to fly. Folding her wings tightly against her back she shook her head and made her way back to Lucus' manor. It'd be a long night it seemed. Nothing she couldn't get through though. It'd be bearable. Completely. A satisfied smile replaced the simple one that was already on her lips.
Morning light had eventually found it's way into the grand window and lay across Lucus' face causing him to cringe and make a small sound, as far as he was concerned he didn't want to move. They daylight and the fact that'd he's spent his night asleep in his office chair told him otherwise though. His entire body felt stiff and nailed to the chair. "Vemp... Vemp love.." He mumbled softly trying to wake her.

Lance had no need to shake Vempyremon awake, in fact, she was already awake, and nearly lying on her stomach across Lucus's lap. Him shaking her, though, was startling, and she quickly put a finger up to her mouth as if to hush him. Then, the pointed in the direction of Devri and Lance who were sprawled out on top of each other, snoozing. Vempyremon wasnt awake for too long, but long enough to see the two twitch occasionally from their dreams. It was hard not to giggle at them, but in a way, it was surprising to see them so 'close', and Vempyremon wanted to watch them while it lasted. "Akita hasnt come back yet." Vempyremon tried to talk as quietly as she could. "I hope she hasnt killed the guy."

Lucus smiled at the two boys, it was a very different sight. Where as they were usually fighting with one another, now they seemed almost.. at peace so to say. He peeked at Vemp, his voice in a low whisper, "She's been here. At some point she was. I'm not sure where she is now though." He noded towards the door which was slightly ajar. On a small table beside it sat a fresh pot of coffee, a jug of orange juice, some glasses and a few assorted snacks. "She and the scientist were the only ones whom knew where we were." Lucus covered his mouth to muffle a small yawn as to not disturb the boys.

Vempyremon's attention towards the small table covered with breakfast goodies, then looks towards the door, then examines the floor as if trying to pull an investigation on when Akita decided to come in. Her attention focuses back on the items. "Whatever it was, I'd guess she was in a good mood." Vempyremon moved a little some more, but moved too much and ended up falling off of Lucus's lap onto the floor, where she froze up, thinking Devri and Lance would wake up from the noise. Lance sure didnt. Since she was down there anyway, she thought she might as well stretch and unstiffen the joint that may have locked up from sleeping so uncomfortably in a chair. Vempyremon looked towards Lucus to expect him to do the same thing since he had to burden her weight on him. "Either way... I'm curious to know what happened and I want to find her."

Lucus took the moment of Vemp falling off of him to let out a great stretch before standing up to further stretch, it'd been some time since he'd fallen asleep there, let alone with somebody on top of him, "Need some help up?" His eyes went over to the boys who seemed unphased, they must have been up later than anybody else to be this sound asleep. "Oh with finding Kain? Akita should be around." He shuffled through a few loose sheets of paper on his desk, "She has a few favourite places in the morning once she leaves breakfast. The garden, the sun room or the balcony on the left wing. I don't know why but those are the places she can usually be found at these hours."

"Er...Right." Even though Vempyremon had been there for a while, she still wasnt familiar with the entire place and got lost every now and then. Even when Lucus led her around occasionally, she would take a wrong turn and then be gone. She stretched one more time to be sure to crack her back before sitting up, then standing up. "If I dont return, you know what happened." Vempyremon easily walked to the slightly opened door and grabbed the knob to open it fully. She jumped back and nearly yelped loudly at Aristocramon just standing there, he was about to grab the doorknob too to open the door. He's about to greet everyone in the room with a loud "Hey!" before Vempyremon shushes him and pulls his hat down over his head at the same time she pushes him out of the door way.

"You'll get used to they layout, I'm sure if you get lost somebody will be there to direct you." Lucus sat back at his desk for a moment, the two boys still asleep. Vemp having left the room after almost running into her brother. "Check the sun room first!"
Devri's ears twitched at the sound of his father's voice.
Akita was indeed in the sun room. It was a room that Lucus had designated for things such as large gatherings. It was a grand room, well decorated and trimed, it's walls facing outward appeared almost non existant, all made of solid glass. In the morning light of this room, Akita had since taken to practicing her dancing to the scent of freshly lite insense.

Aristocramon led his sister out of the room, even with his hat pulled over his face now, he was still able to feel for the door which he pulled shut. Unable to see where the doorway is, or where he's pulling it, it shuts loudly and sends a vibrating echo throughout the room. Lance is woken up suddenly from the door shutting and grumbles loudly, stretching hard and stretching his hand across Devri's face. By accident.
On the other side of the door, Aristocramon struggles to take the hat off of his head, while Vempyremon looks around for which way was the way she was actually going to go in. With a suction-filled pop, the hat comes off of Aristocramon's head. "Stop fooling around, help me find Akita." Vempyremon patted her brother on the head, which was sore now. She was about to ruffle his hair before realizing that it already looked ruffled; it wouldnt matter if she did or not. Trying to remember the nice tours she's been given, Vempyremon heads off in a direction where she thinks she knows where the "Sun Room" is.
