Kyo couldnt help but smirk as his hado broke through Kasen's defensive kido. As he closed the distance between him and Kasen he positioned his blades so that as he struck at Kasen they would come at him from different angles (sort of like this < ). the bladess cackled with electricity, if either of them so much as grazed him they would send currents of electricity through him.

"Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! BakudÅ #9, Geki!" Kasen chanted as Kyo was coming at him with those dangerous blades. Kyo would realize he would be temporarily paralyzed as a red light shone upon Kyo. Kasen got closer to Kyo for a moment as he slipped a card into his shihakusho smirking a bit before Kasen shunpo away from Kyo as the card was reacting the moment Kasen touched it. "Boom..." Kasen muttered as the card was about to explode and create a flaming explosion.

Kyo recognized the Bakudo and backpeddled quickly, barely dodging the kido, the explosion however blasted him backwards. he landed hard on his back, the force dazing him for a few seconds before he got to his feet slowly. "Should have seen that coming, come on Kyo, gotta strategize if your gonna get anywhere against him. he thought to himself. He took a breath to clear his head, then pointed his left sword up towards the sky. A bolt of lightning shot down from the clouds and stuck his raised sword gaining power as it ran through him, he aimed his right sword at Kasen and fired the charged up bolt of lightning at him.

Kasen grabbed his sheath as he placed it over his blade as he needed to time this correctly. His hands raised his now sheathed blade as Kasen's mind was waiting to strike as the moment was coming now. Suddenly, Kasen swung his blade down at the lightning as the rubber-mixed metal conducted the lightning through the blade, however the rubber nullified the lightning's charge and conduct as Kasen was shot back for a moment as this was pure lightning he was against. Kasen took out a playing card and threw it into the ground as he called out its number and suit. "Seven of Spades." Suddenly, the card dispersed into an ominous black fog that delayed all senses as it devoured Kasen in its wake and was rolling towards Kyo.

Kyo saw the dark fog moving steadily towards him and immediately knew the fight would be over if it enveloped him. Lowering his swords he took a deep breath and waited. once the fog was almost on top of him he raised his swords in a scissor like motion, before raking them across one another. the grinding of the swords sounding very much like the rumble of thunder. Finally he grinded them one last time before separating them, which resulted in a sonic blast that spread outward around Kyo, and while it failed to disperse the fog completely, it pushed it in the opposite direction of himself.

Kasen was grinning in his fog as it was only rising higher to Kyo as if creating a tidal wave. Kasen awaited as he his cloak was flapping slightly with the wind, however the storm was loud enough to cover Kasen's noise as he awaited Kyo to join him into the darkness. Kasen was holding his blade lowly as he awaited Kyo's presence in Kasen's wondrous black fog that ominously sought out Kyo to take him into the vast darkness and single his body out.

Kyo wasnt sure how to dispel the fog, unless he could get Kasen to leave it. he pointed both his swords upwards, this time lightning discharged from them into the clouds. thunder roared and suddenly hundreds of bolts of lightning rained from the sky into Kasen's fog, Kyo just hoped one would hit him.

The fog dispersed as its time was up, leaving Kyo's storm of lightning to strike randomly in plain sight as Kasen was now looking at him through the dispersed fog. "Bakudo #39, Enkosen." Kasen chanted as suddenly, a triple-bladed fan appeared above him as Kasen began spinning the fan as it shielded him from the lighting as if it was an umbrella.This Bakudo was a special Kido that was a higher level of Seki and granted better protection. "I believe you haven't even asked your zanpakuto for its powers yet, have you?" Kasen asked as he noticed Kyo has not once requested some assistance from his zanpakuto, while Kasen's zanpakuto spirits were watching him. "Let me show you why unity with your zanpakuto is important. Sting and Blaze, Kaosu Sasori!"
Kasen's reiatsu rose as his body and blade glowed a strange mix of dark black reiatsu with a purple outline following, and a red crimson aura from his zanpakuto as the zanpakuto transformed itself. The blade extended to both sides as the hilt merged both blades into a dual-blade sword. One blade has the kanji for fire, the other has the kanji for black or dark. Each blade faced an opposite direction making it perfect to spin around in Kasen's hand as he looked at Kyo. Suddenly, the zanpakuto in his hands began rotating as a dark reiatsu was pouring out from the blade and Kasen as something was coming forth for Kasen.

The lightning stopped raining around them. Kyo blinked in suprise. "Ask my zanpakuto for its powers? i suppose i'll have to do that. Wait...he just revealed the name of his zanpakuto? wasnt that the whole point of this battle? to see if i could force him to call on it?" he thought, slightly confused. "You called on your zanpakuto, Kasen. Wasnt that the object behind this battle? to see if i could get you to do it? guess now we'll have to see exactly what i'm capable of huh?" he asked as he thought about what he had said before noticing the reiatsu coming from the Kaosu Sasori.

"I believe this battle was never about me, was it? The thing about getting me to use a shikai was a bonus objective, you failed into subduing me into using shikai as I wasn't forced to, I chose to." Kasen said as he knew this entire time, it was never about Kasen or his powers, all this time it was about Kyo learning his zanpakuto. "My zanpakuto, I know her inside and out, Kaosu and Sasori." Kasen said as the dark reiatsu was flaring up as if it was flames until Kyo would soon realize, his zanpakuto is a dual-element that specializes in darkness and fire which combine to create black flames, the element of their very own Evil-taicho.
"Kuro Kaji Ookami - Black Flame Wolf!" Kasen shouted as he stopped spinning his blade to reveal the creature of Kyo's possible destruction. The creature's born of darkness and fire, with the intent to kill as it was a semi-living weapon to strike. Kasen spun his blade with only a single revolution as the beast released itself from its master's side and was now thriving towards Kyo to strike him. "This lesson isn't to know about me, but you and your zanpakuto, ask it and it will show you the way." Kasen shouted as the wolf was closing in on the distance between the two.

Kyo blinked as he stared at the beast made of black fire charging towards him. "How am i supposed to block that? How am i supposed to do anything against that?" he thought to himself. his swords hummed as the tiger appeared beside him. "Kyo, we are a team. you have attained shikai, but you have yet to call upon me for help. you will never master your zanpakuto if you do not work with me. only together can we face the black flame wolf." Kyo nodded and took a deep breath, "Raitenshou, lend me your strength." he asked slowly, the tiger nodded and the swords in his hands started to glow and hum even louder. soon they were pulsating with blue light and electricity could be seen running through them. Kyo brought them up and following the tiger's wordless instructions held them up side-by-side not quite touching. sparks began to jump from one sword to the other until the current was steady. "Scream and Strike Raitenshou! Storm Lightning Tiger!" he shouted as a tiger made completely of lightning shot from his swords and raced to meet Kasen's black flame wolf

Kasen grinned as he watched Kyo summon his tiger to counter Kasen's wolf as he laughed a bit at the similarity of their own attacks. However, Kasen wasn't going to allow his wolf to suddenly be gone as he raised his zanpakuto at pointed the blade with the fire kanji at it. "Separate." Kasen commanded as his creature was born from two, and it will become two once more as the flames danced off the wolf to the side as the fire became its own being. Suddenly, there were two wolves, one of darkness, and one of fire as the the Kaji wolf was now racing towards the tiger as the Kuro wolf was now aiming for Kyo as it was now a race to see, who will explode first.
The Kaji wolf clashed with the tiger as an explosion of fire and lighting erupted as the elements met in a devastating strike. The Kuro wolf didn't bother to look back as it was too busy setting its eyes on the prey that was Kyo.

Kyo was taken aback as the wolf seperated into two, not sure how he was to combat the dark wolf that had bypassed his tiger in favor of himself. he watched the ensuing explosion from the flame wolf and his tiger. "Now i just need to take out the other one......great just great." he muttered as his mind raced to figure out how he would deal with this. "Raitenshou, i need you! how am i supposed to deal with this? Lend me your strength!" he asked desperately. "This will be difficult, Kyo. the power of Kaosu Sasori is greater than mine...for now." the tiger replied as reiatsu surged from the blades into Kyo. he raised his swords above him as he started to pulsate with blue light from the current of electricity running through him. "This may be exceeding our limits Kyo, this attack will take alot and we wont last much longer afterwards." the tiger said, Kyo nodded. As the wolf reached him, lightning shot out of Kyo in all directions with such force that as it struck the wolf it exploded. as the explosion settled Kyo was down on his knees breathing heavily as he struggled and was finally able to stand, though quite unevenly and it was obvious he had little left in him to continue fighting.

Kasen used shunpo as he moved upon the field until he reached his destination, behind Kyo as the dual-sided blade was now raised to Kyo's neck as if Kasen was about to assassinate him. "Please, you need to rest, seal your zanpakuto and I will take you to the Fourth Division for healing." Kasen said as he requested such a thing, however his tone was as if it was an order as Kasen knew an outburst of energy like that isn't good, and he hasn't been with his zanpakuto so his body isn't used to this power yet. "Come, just seal your weapon, and you can keep your neck." Kasen said as if he was trying to use a strange sense of humor to get Kyo to stop this battle.

Kyo nodded with a small sigh, his zanpakuto returning to its original state. "guess you win again....hehe, one of these days....i"m going to...beat you...count on that..." he said slowly as he tried to catch his breath. "You've done well, Kyo, rest now and we will fight again another day." Raitenshou spoke to him. "yea your right, we will fight again." kyo whispered without realizing he had spoke outloud. he waved Kasen's sword away and turned to face him, before collapsing in exhaustion.
