ElladanKenet Razull- I see svereal misconceptions. Not all mercs fight with honor (Headless Horseman ring a bell?). Also, Bounty Hunters don't just kill people. They also capture people and bring them to whoever wants them. Assassins are professional killers. It was more of a general idea than anything else. And I'd like to make a correction, and Assassin is a killer, but not in the same sense a Bounty Hunter would be. Assassins tend to be part of whichever faction they serve. A hitman however, is a professional killer. The main idea behind what I wrote was to support this idea of Good, Neutral and Evil as the split anyway. Though I suppose that's pointless when making these the neutral paths.

So, what was the vote result for the number of threads?

No idea, it was never officially started as a poll in the thread or accounted for, just discussed.

We ended up voting for a few threads. I'm thinking one for each faction's territory
If this is the case, then we have to add a rule requiring everyone to edit into their post what planet/where they are at

I thought this was going to be a 1-planet RP, EK? Shouldn't it just be a few basic threads and not a bunch of them like before? Also, the whole 'faction thread' idea kinda makes it seem like we're just gonna stay in our own territory and not really interact with the enemy, or anyone else other than our own side for that matter.

That was a flaw I didn't think of when we were talking about how to set up the threads. Maybe we should go one thread per planet. We're starting with just one anyway.

Naw, not a thread for every planet or a thread for each faction; 1 united RP. Easier to keep track of, no confusion as to who is where (even with the "transition" posts), and it keeps everyone together. 'cause if we start off on seprate worlds, I'm more than likely going to be on Nar Shadda while others will be on Coruscant, Daghobah, Biss, Corelia, Tattooine, Ilum, so on and so on and so on... If we "need" to have a bunch of threads, lets keep it clustered and minimal. "KISS: Keep It Stupid Simple"

No. No single thread. I’m sick and tired of coming back after my three-day weekend and having to flip and read through a thousand pages just to try and find a post that may or may not exist. We can all start off on one thread but as the game expands and grows, (hopefully) I recommend different threads.

Its better than jumping through a hundred pages scattered across 10 topics just to get an idea of what's going on, in my opinion. What we need is a crew- led "summary" topic, updated like every 5 pages or so. Just something to help those with weekends. lol

Technically, you need only concern yourself with what has transpired in the thread that your character is in at that time, for it is the only thread that has relevance of barring on your character. The other threads are of no concern to you because there on totally different planets. If you want to read what’s going on in the other threads that is up to you.

Aye, and if events on a large scale (such as a battle lost or an invasion fleet sets out), it's helpful to have that available somewhere. I'm just not a big fan of the multi-zone RP system because of my last guild; a zeppelin fleet blockaded my home city and no one told me for the week I was away from it because I was in a different zone. Tried to get back in and suddenly the whole zone is under siege. Was just a pain in the a** being uninformed is all.

But that's realistic, which is something some people try to go for.
Besides, I'm pretty sure it's better to have little to no knowledge of the situations aside from what your character would know. Most people tend to act with a bearing on what they know, not their character and that's a form of omniscience.

Sounds more like you should have been keeping a better eye on your holdings.

stare Something tells me I'm gonna need new boots...
It was just annoying that people pulled backstabbings like that half a world away because it broke the guild's back. It's why Prop Apocalypse died in its first 3 months. xp I'm just burned by the system is all. It happened at least twice a week, sometimes more, that people will just "transport" to another area, wreck havoc while someone is AFK, and blame them for not defending properly. Fights OOC broke out, people left, chaos ensued. Hell, I became a VC in less than a week solely because the last one left annoyed. XP Fought hard to keep that guild alive, but in the words of Bones: "He's dead Jim."

Well if the RP is divided up into faction like Republic, Empire, whatever and whatnot there should be other player characters around to help defend home space in case of invasion if your not on-line.
