(yep that would be best I think as they are waiting on you I believe in woods from what I heard.)

Zaine had stumbled into this strange place while wandering about, as he did often through the Werewolf Wood when he had found himself in the white, pristine winter landscape before him, "Well, well haven't seen this place before, wonder if anyone is home...." he said to himself, enjoying the crisp air and the soft crunch of snow underfoot, the freezing air fortifiying and calming his soul and body, after an hour or so of wandering he came across the quaint cabin that was situated in a clearing that provided a beautiful view of the river that moved strongly despite the chilly weather, "Hello!? Is someone in there?" he called aloud, his gold and crimson eyes scanning the area from behind a few stray strands of dark brown hair for signs of life.

Sitting at stool that faced the moistened walls of the inner cave, sat the shinigami dispelling his knowledge upon the pages that lay before him. The light from the candle created the appearance of darkened shadows eash time the pen moved. The ink bled on the pages at a rapid pace as this shinigami had many inner thoughts that could not remain dormant within his mind. The pages continued to shift until all was released only to be looked upon at a further point in time. For now the mind was clear as day, allowing for the first breath to ease out of his lungs. It was time to refuel from the draining mental task that he had just gone through.

Kinsetsu proceeded to stand up, feeling the stiffness in his back as he extended to his full stature. With a fluid series of motions he proceeded to lock up the journal that could be his enemies greatest weapon and his friends greatest threat. Knowing what he knew could be quite catastrophic which made him ever cautious in his care for the journal. He proceeded to walk from the darkened room towards the exposure of light, his exit.

As his head extended outwards his eyes were hit with a sharpened pain as he attempted to reajust to natural lighting. He knew not how long he had been within the cavern but it must have been several hours. Feeling his stomach's hunger he proceeded to head down the clearing towards the path that led to his cabin. As he reached the bushes that lay half a kilometer from his destination he heard the faintest reasonance of a voice in the direction of the cabin. He focused his eyes and saw the figure, which presumably from his garment must have been a shinigami. This was not Ash as he could tell meaning another shinigami had venture upon his hidden land. It's becoming a popular place he thought with amusement.

Not one to be a poor host he headed quickly over towards the open area that lay the cabin just to hear the last words coming from the shinigami's mouth. For one to announce themselves with disregard for potential threat either meant they were fearless or did not seek a battle. He presumed the latter although this was not to suggest this individual was not of mental toughness.

"Hello there. It would seem you are not familiar with this land. I'm about to head in to eat if you care to join me I shall have some food to share." He began to walk towards the cabin and feeling the manner in which he introduced himself could be perceived as unfriendly he quickly added, "By the way my name is Kinsetsu Ichikuri of the Sereitei." He opened the door and entered but left it open as a signal of invitation for the other shinigami to enter.

Struggle for Growth

Reaching for the surface from the crushing weight of the waves, how could one swim? Feeling the gut wrenching constriction of an external power, how could one breathe? Each antagonist force beared its fangs upon him, making it a struggle to survive in this society. When one sought guidance, none had come but the echoes of his own voice asking why. Burdened with a position that made one a leader he did not feel as such. Portraying a seemingly false image he could not dispel. How could he? He did not possess the skills that governed how one was perceived in such a land.

The pasage of months had not brought forth a new height. Yes, he was well noted for his mind that allowed him to ascend the rankings but had been forgotten for his physical form. Was he simply a tool to portray a political image in this society, who would suddenly be disposed of when no longer of use? It was quite possible as none had provided a helping hand. He had met potential friends but as time passed they faded into distant memories. His voyages to Avalon no longer held the off chance of an encounter. The acceptance of this scenario came with ease, as he was accustomed to such situations. Disregarded completely, left on his own yet how had he come to such a point? A boy among adults, thrust into a spotlight that irritated the eye, which had never bared witness to such exposure. He did not fully comprehend but maybe he wasn't meant too.

He sought desperately to advance himself but request upon request had either been ignored or denied. He knew he was not a figment of their imagination yet they passed by him as if he was bacteria that was always around but seemingly forgotten. This had not brought ressentment but wonder. A wonder of who he was. Was he fit to be a shinigami if no one recognized him or was the shinigami truthfully the internal spirit that became the driving force?

The previous nights thoughts still harboured deep within his mind. He could not find an appropriate answer to his dilemma which left him uneasy. Solutions typically came with ease when logic was clear. Unfortunately life and the social conditions that were a part of it did not fall into place so logically. Emotions ran deep within individuals and seemed to dissolve all reason. He was beginning to understand this but of course could not fully grasps the concept seeing he had foregone emotions since childhood.

Although he knew sensations ran deep within his core, at the moment he was simply an empty vessel. Certainly he had thoughts but they were simply expressed through calculated reasoning. These truly could not be his own thoughts but the systematic response he had been trained to portray over the years. Not even in his encounters with Ash, despite exposing his darkened past had he displayed the slightest hint of feeling. He merely presented his life story as if he was an external being describing events of someone else. Potentially this was why his spirit, if he had one chose not to come out. Exiting thought abruptly, he proceeded to perform a productive task. Continued internal discussion would not lead to a clear answer therefore their was no need to dwell into the obscurities of the unexplained.

He proceeded to enter the cavern and turn the pages of one of his physics books. This is he knew had a path towards a clear end. His inner thoughts would simply produce a lack of productivity if he continued to dwell into them. It was time to shut that door, at least for now.

Perched outside the Cave devoid of most light, he contemplated the chimeric landscape of his own soul, a place singularly twilit, like a deserted city an hour before dawn or the desolate seashore an hour after dusk, a place that slipped away from him, shifting like sand. And as he journeyed through this unknown country he asked himself this question:

Who am I?

A question that asked one to look beyond the mere landscape but within each vestige, leading to only further questions as one dwelt deeper. He closed his eyes allowing the each word of the question to flow over him until he was dislocated in time, distancing himself from the reality before him. As a human one tended to shed all notions of death, as a shinigami one constantly was constantly berrated with the subject, similar to the p***k of needle, digging itself deeper with each passing second. There was nothing between the human will to live and the shinigami's will to deal in death that fit together, yet they both encompassed his being. This essential dichotomy had opened his mind as nothing before. Did he wish to be like the human of his past or the shinigami he now was? He still had not found the answer.

The rain fell in a systematic pattern as the smog veneer shielded the mystical land from unwanted eyes. The light was yet there; shining dim, but constant, through the rain. Those who sought beyond the overbearing myst would find their sanctuary. As one walked they would be led aslant over the hill, through a marsh, which would have been impassible in winter. The foliage of the trees hid much of what lay ahead. Through the vine ridden, mossy path if one ventured further they would gain passage towards the eloquant opening that had become one's sanctuary.

Entering the passage and passing the shrubs, the silhouette of a cabin rose to view; black, low, and rather long; but the guiding light shone nowhere. All was obscurity. The friendly gleam of light, shot from the lozenged anes of a very small lattice window, made still smaller by the growth of ivy or some other creeing lant, whose leaves clustered thick over the ortion of the cabin wall in which it was set. The aperture was so screened and narrow, that curtain or shutter had been deemed unnecessary; and as one stopped and peered within, they could see all. Within the candle, whose ray had been a beacon, burnt on the table; and by its light a young male was mesmerized by the passing pages, as he sat perched on the chair reading.

The woman had been drawn to the building hidden beneath the curtain of mystery, everything screamed at her to turn away, but ever since she'd left Heuco Mundo any where else was paradise. An athletic and sultry form causally strutted from shadow to shadow. her form fitting uniform covered enough of her body to be respectful enough within the Sereitei, a few loose yet decretive garments hung from different portions of her body. Every aspect of her new uniform after coming back from Las Noches spoke of her transformation as a woman, as a shinigami, and as a warrior in a whole. Though her appearance hinted to that of a of a seductress, it spoke more of her confidence both physically and mentally. She was Vice-Captain, promoted before the mission had begun, but it wasn't until after her abduction that Ami became an icon of sorts.

Her ears had become slightly longer and had grown muscle to shift to better hear sounds, and to better reveal her mood, a long whisping tail lashed about her as she casually strutted towards the hidden building. though she couldn't see it, she knew it was there. From the plants, to the mist hinted that something hid just from the view of those simply wandering. Though she was not wandering, there was a pull to be here, like something begged to be pulled from the mist itself. So with a playful smile spread over her pouty lips the small woman stepped up to the building and stood a few feet from it's entrance, peaking slightly into the hidden window before she yelled out with her signature girlish tone, "HEY!" taking a few quick steps forward she tapped on the door with her index finger, though it sounded like the tip of a sword clacked against it, and this was because of the claw on the tip of her fingers. Hopping back she giggled, "You should come outside!" Looking off for a brief moment before she pulsed her spiritual energy and her eyes turned black, now her iris's glowed pink. She grinned devilishly revealing sharp fangs. The tips of her very long pig tails where bright pink, another sign of her physical change.

The dull thumping of the rain echoed a chant, each time it struck the walls of his shelter, from the liquid hazard. One such as himself, was accustomed to the ever shifting form of nature that was depicted on this location. It was not a disturbance, but rather the gift one embraces, a display of virility in the land. The quivering flames painted the walls in ever moving blackness, as if a creature lurked upon it's surface. Yet again, his focus remained constant, lifting his arm periodically, watching the sleeve fall backwards, as he moved towards the unknown contents of the book that lay before him. In such a state his focus was similar to the hunter perched on the ridge, steady handed, gazing down the rabbit it would soon strike with its arrow. Through habit he had developed this approach towards his studies, that lay far beyond solely the physical and spiritual realm. The world of the mental conscious was of greater importance as it could always dictate how one would fare in the physical and spiritual world. Those lacking the mental capabilities would simply fall by the wayside as Darwinist played out. Despite all his focus his mind did wander elsewhere, nothing the appearance of a stranger to his enchanted land. His head shifted outwards as he turned his neck, seeing in the distance the shape of the figure that was headed directly in his location.

It was not unsurprising that the individual would approach this abide at is what the only shelter that lay within this environment, no other had ever reside here besides himself, therefore no other individual had known this as a home. Attention completely drawn to the figure his eyes watched the shifting molecular structure. As the legs moved the energy expanded within those locations to provide the faculty for one to be able to walk. Each stride was short and rapid, allowing him to note the rather short legs that were a piece of the overall short frame. Unfocusing the eyes he noticed the distinct colors that stood out, showcasing the eccletic nature of this individual. The uniform huged the frame, opening slightly at the chest displaying the full curvature and not leaving much to the imagination. One just needed to look at the fish-net stockings to know that she was not your conventional shinigami. He did not mind the appearance as he himself did not portray himself in a conventional manner either.

Unlike the typical shinigami who stuck to the non-colors of black and white, he displayed rather vibrant color on his attire. His most noticeable garment feature was the draping that hung from his shoulders, a flashy red cape that bore plenty of holes, displaying a history of battles. A tightly fit tunic covered his torso, past his waist, displaying his own toned physical frame. In full stature he could appear quite intimidating as he reached his full height of 6 feet 1, not a common height to see in the realm of the shinigami. The most unconventional feature lay within his own natural physical characteristics. His eyes contained no iris and displayed simply an ocean of blue of a soulless being.

The tappings of nails upon his door and slightly childish voice clearly indicated that she had found this destination. He couldn't help, but noticed the shifting in spiritual presence within the individual as if something further lurked within. It brought back thoughts of his shikai attainment when he felt the other being within, not the typical spirit within the sword, but as if another being was part of him. Come outside well his focus was already upon the new individual so he may as well investigate, it was something he did rather well as the Vice Captain of squad 8. He stood upwards feeling the slight tightness within his muscles from the long period of sitting, and proceeded outside. The door parted from the fringes, creaking ever so slightly, as he took the first step outside. Fully in view, face to face, as friendly as one could speak towards a stranger he began to inquire.

"I do not believe I've seen you around although it is not hard to state that since few know how to enter this land. How did you find your way here fellow shinigami." He spoke with subtlety, not displaying any emotion, whether anger or excitement. He would simply await the response to judge what must occur next.

Smiling coyly Ami slowly began to walk up to him, swaying her hips slowly as she bit her lower lip looking away and giggling. Turning back to him she stopped just mere inches from his form, ”All you have to know.” she walked her index and middle finger up his chest up to his chin, ”Is that I’m here to help you.” taking a step back she giggling and looked at her black claws before looking back up at him. Grinning coyly she took in a sharp breath ten released it slowly in a whispered moan. Closing her eyes she lifted her hands up and untied the braids holding her pig tails in place, and allowed her hair to fall freely about her shoulders and back. Then it lifted up as if it became flame and fluttered about. Opening her eyes revealed black eyes with glowing pink iris’s, her demonic tail slid out from her pants and lashed about playfully. The aura she gave off was hollow, yet there was no mask, and no holes to be seen. This feeling that radiated from her wasn’t Vizard, or even dark, just empty, as if she were actually a full blooded hollow.

A deep growl echoed from her form, but it was not from her. ”Hateshinai Ai Ami, Fourth Squad Vice-Captain…” she moaned as she walked over to a nearby tree and leaned against it sighing happily again, her eyes shut and her soft and girlish voice continued to melt into his ears, ”I used to be known as Ishi Riki, Primara Espada but…” she paused and opened her eyes to look at him, ”That woman died and a new one was created in her place.” Giggling she pushed herself off of the tree and strutted up to him again her finger hooked the hem of his shirt and pulled herself up to him, looking up at him as if she where about to kiss him, ”Ishi Riki is only a mere memory, but I remember how empty she felt, how alone she was…” inching closer she finished, ”I want to help you.” then as quickly as she’d slinked up to him she blurred up into the air performing several back flips before landing on a branch and crouched down upon it. This feat would impossible for even the most acrobatic warriors, but for Ami it was imply an act very similar to breathing. Ishi had the ability to fly about freely in any direction she wanted, a dragon was not limited to gravity and a princess could do anything she wanted and get away with it. Since she had been rescued from Heuco Mundo Ami had never been the same timid creature she was before she left. She’d been tested and her personality shifted to cope with the changes that her mind and her body went through.

It was a fact, Ishi Riki was nothing more than a “living” memory of the Primara Espada, but that memory was still very much a part of Hateshinai Ai Ami. Giggling again she looked down to the man below, her tail quickly wrapped around the branch as if to gain more balance. ”Why do you hide so far out here away from other people stranger?” her girlish tone held a very friendly tone, yet less seductive than before. She stood quickly and her tail slipped from the branch as she fell backward and performed a single back flip before landing in a loose three point stance. Standing she reached out to the plant and slowly moved in and kissed the bark gently, she pulsed a great deal of her healing Kido into the moss which caused a few small buds to come into full bloom snapping the petals open revealing a bright flower, and the dust from the petals sparkled as the glittered about her entire form. Giggling she tickled a flower with her index finger before looking back to the man with a warm smile, ”Flowers always make me smile.” Looking back to the freshly bloomed flowers she slowly strutted towards him, slowly taking each step with precise grace, she spoke slowly with each step, ”Life always gives you reasons to smile.” Looking down she bit her lower lip and stopped a few feet from him. Lifting her gaze to meet his slowly she smiled softly, ”So many people focus on the puddles on the ground when all they have to do is look up and see the green grass on the nearby hills, and the beautiful clouds in the sky.” shrugging she sighed happily again, ”Maybe I’m just…” she looked off in thought before taking another step towards him and then stopping to look deep into his eyes, ”being silly?”

The lady before him, did not seem the slightest bit frazzled by his direction questioning, rather she seemed rather comfortable in the climate, struging forward in a rythmic march as a giggle escaped her mouth. She advance within close enough proximity that he could smell the sweet natural fragrance that escaped her form. At such a close physical distance he was slightly apprehensive, not being able to decipher the social context in which he now found himself in. Her middle finger inched forward, jutting outwards from the hand like a dagger, only to delicately place itself on his chest, elevating gradually towards the nape of his neck, to rest upon his chin. He did not know in the slightest way how to interpret such a scenario, he merely stood silently awaiting further action. As her eyelids move downwards to embrace the darkness underneath, she began to untie her braids, allowing her hair to flow without restraint. Her eyes, seeking the light once more, opened to reveal darkness with the hint of vibrant pink iris's that were merely a portion of her transformation, as a tail slid outwards from her pants, moving with hazardous force. It was not only a physical transformation, but a spiritual one as well, considering the now darkening aura that seemed to be transmit from her body. As she began to spoke and move within even closer proximity it began to make sense.

He recognized the initial name she spoke of Hateshinai AI Ami, as he was made well aware of all ranked members within the Gotei 13, in his position. As she continued and explained her past as a former Primara Espada all the pieces seemed to fit together. The aura completely made sense, he merely wondered to what extent she had surpressed that former self. Despite mentioning the death of Ishi Riki, her presence was clearly still illuminating from Ami, ever so slightly. Her shift in personality and appearance were a clear indication that potentially she was still struggling to suppress that former past. Ishi Riki as a former Primara Espada, certainly would not leave so easily, even after death. His mind completely focused upon these thoughts, as if he now looked between the scope of a rifle, mind devoid of all other thought, made him not even dwell upon her initial remark on the need to help him, until she was perched upon a tree.

She wished to help him yet how would one know what his situation was? He clearly had never divulged any of his problems to anyone and this problem only occured recently in his shikai attainment. The voice that spoke to him that time clearly depicted him as being something other than he really was. A similar dark aura as that of the one he sensed from Ami seemed to have come forth in his encounter with this unknown being that lived within his mind. He knew of his shikai powers and there was a reason why he did not wish to display them in his training with the Commander Chief. How would he be perceived displaying such evil destructive powers? It completely went against his core ideals, yet when he had secretly tested out his ability he felt the slightest presence of enjoyment as he watched the unfortunate creature that suffered agony at his hand, slowly dissolving as the flesh melted away. He knew the dark aura only appeared when he went shikai and he was certainly careful to never use it with others around shinigami around. As he struggled internally understand what Ami meant by wanting to help him she began to inquire further on his botanic paradise. He listened as she finally stopped speaking, leaving an awkward silence in the air as the seconds passed. He knew he needed to speak and as he gathered his thoughts he allowed his eyes to converge upon her own.

"This is a land of peace and quiet that allows me to dwell in my own inner thoughts without the slightest interference. I also rather enjoy the natural scenery that is on full display here. If one wishes to seek a balance within the soul this is a perfect place. I do not believe your silly in the slightest, as without smile one cannot help but look upon life from a darker point of view. My smile may not be present, but I am attemption to understand the meaning of emotions and happiness, a further reason for this resting place. I do however have to ask you why do you believe I need aid?" He had not changed his stance since Ami initially spoke, merely his eyes moved as they penetrated her own, fixated upon her eventual response.

The small woman simply grinned at him, but it was both because she was sincerely happy but she could almost taste the strength harboring within him. So with a simple smirk she walked up to him, her bust lightly touching his chest, her face a mere inch from his face. Ami's face softened as if she where trapped within a romantic moment, the small succubus's eyes slowly darted from each section of his face; eye to eye, then his nose, cheeks, then his lips. Breathing out slowly her mint breath cooly brushed past his face and her hands slowly lifted up to the lower hem of his shirt and her claws lightly hooked into the fabric. Looking down to his chest she inched in even closer before looking up again biting her lower lip, tilting her head to the side slightly a small devilish grin was smeared over her pouty lips. She spoke almost at a whisper, "Hurt me." as she said that she quickly knelt down and hooked the back of her knee to the inside of his right leg and pushed out with her hands which her just above his pelvis so that his feet where swooped up out from underneath of him and with a tremendous force she quickly jumped upon him with her legs on either side of his hips. straddling him she looked down to him with the same coy smile, "Just let go." as she leaned forward with her elbows in his chest her hands slide up around his neck, a deep demonic growl rattled in her chest as she quickly wrapped her clawed hands around his neck and squeezed as hard as she could, "We're safe here, let your demon free." her voice became extremely demonic as a flash of Ishi's face flashed before his blurring vision, "Sink your teeth into my skin, tear my body apart, make me scream in agony." she let go and drug her claws down his chest and moaned as she sat back on his pelvis, her tail wrapped around his right ankle.

What did Ami truly feel, she was expressing very intimate feelings towards him, but it was obvious this was simply the way she was. Ami spoke through touch, and expressed her feelings, all of them through touch, to many they would be taken back, but that would be of course if it was anybody but Ami. She was small, very warm and inviting, and everything about her screamed friendliness. Besides that she was alluring and spoke with her entire spirit. Most people could fake how they truly felt about another person, she was the single person in the group that couldn't fake any such feelings as she'd become distant if she disliked them. The man before her was addicting, his hidden demon pulled her in, while the exterior pushed her away. It was distant and meaningful while she could tell the inside demon could not care less about those around him, or who they where to him. In fact it felt as though he just wanted to destroy everything that he could get his hands on. This drove Ami wild and it tore at her flesh to know that he was hiding something so tantalizing away from her. Even though she was devoted to a single person already, it was obvious that she could have had something for this person; not so much the shell but the creature hidden within, and it wouldn't be to fall in love with it, it'd be to simply tear into it with everything she had. Some would call it a sexual interest, but it was simply the lust of a savage fight. One where there where no weapons or hand to hand training, just to monster tearing at each others flesh to consume them. For a mere humanoid it would be impossible to understand, few creatures other than the savage ones like the were-wolves knew what a real fight contained. The succubus was a creature of lust and desire, driven by emotional needs. If those needs where not fulfilled, much like a werewolf during a full moon or during the heat a succubus becomes a mindless husk hunting any creature willing enough to become lost within the embrace of the allure of the Succubus. The end result of any intimacy between a succubus and it's victim is death.

Though she was clueless to this aspect of herself, she would need to feed off of the emotions of another creature, and the fight she attempted to taunt out of his man would give her what she needed. Many people would mistake the needs of a succubus to be physical, that they would physically need emotional stimulation, a simple act of sex would not satisfy a succubus, which was why they had been given such a sour reputation. Many succubus much like Ami, fed off of everything they ever came in contact with, maintaining the lust so that they wouldn't drain someone dry completely. The reason why Ami was so friendly and why so many where drawn to her was simply because of the simple fact that Ami was a succubus. This was something she only just realized... and it would take much longer to fully grasp what she was, and how to maintain the lust.

The signed of her loosing control was what she was doing right here with this man, being physically forceful with her desire towards him, disregarding logic completely when interacting with others and those she was already committed too; to be blunt, Heuco Mundo had starved her of interactions, it starved her from feeding off of as many people as possible, now she was lost within the lust...

The events that transpired from him at one point being standing still to eventually laying upon his back, would leave a deep impact that he himself could not even fully comprehend. As Ami displayed her flirtateous nature his once en display seize to exist, as sudden as the shifting in the winds from an ocean front. His one enigmatic portrayal of himself crumbled as emotions began to run free. A deepened desire for Ami was produced but not one of lust, one simply to consume the spiritual presence of what lay within her being. The proximity and scent that pressed forth from her being stimulated all his senses, self control became difficult to maintain. The internal struggle could be seen across his physical frame as the blood rushed to his head, protruding veins from his temple. I must devour her...This makes no sense. I barely know her and should not have any feelings towards....consume her...It's the only way to break through this prison you have created...No this is not right...Yes it is and we shall feast.. For an instant he seemed to convulse as all his muscles tightened into a knot as his eyes forcebly closed from all sources of light. After a few moments of the strenous physical struggle his eyes opened, not as they were, but in a completely different reflection. No longer the artic blue eyes looked out from his body, instead a star filled colorful galactical scenery could be seen, as if his eyes contained their own universe. From that moment Kinsetsu Ichikuri would seize to exist and the one known as Mitesumo would lay claim to this body. This was made clear by his next actions.

The gentleman nature gone, an arm shot upwards from his body and grabbed Ami's neck, cutting off the air supply. He pivoted on his hip and hand still constricting the lungs rolled sideways and flung the small frame of Ami away. He moved to a military stance as he felt the new life within this body. His upper lift tilted as he opened his mouth, displaying a full smile. It was the thrill of what was to come, exciting his entire physical and spiritual presence. "Hello Ishi, it's been a while hasn't it? I must say the last time we met didn't turn out quite so well for myself thanks to your betrayal. Well what was I to expect, you could never love someone like me now could you?"

Without another word his sword unsheated and without word it completely transformed in appearance as it seemed to radiate the sun. Typically a shinigami would need to call upon their sword to evoke its power, but he no longer was simply a shinigami. His skin began to puss and burn, as this sun portrayal was actually a skill trait he had. The moment Ishi saw this she likely would know who he was, but he still questioned to what extent she influenced her host Ami. As he blisters continued to form there seemed to reach a point where no further damage was done. His skin as quickly as it was being destroyed was being repaired, a trait only he could display in this form. He walked towards Ami, grin still on full display, as he was ready to feed all his desires. It was simply his nature to seek out this bloodlust, all of his kind were the same. Ishi, I'm ready to be entertained.
