I've believed for some time that the things going on now are just the beginning.
No wonder the right to bear arms is being questioned by the government. Wouldn't want us defending ourselves.

Everyone needs to get past the sensationalized first post. NO OBAMA IS NOT BECOMING A WORLD PRESIDENT AND IF HE IS THAT'S THE LEAST OF OUR CONCERNS. IMO, the president is just a figurehead. It really doesn't matter who sits in that chair. The real problem here is that one by one, law by law, they are taking our freedom away. Go ahead and continue your lives as normal. You won't have that privilege soon.
Anyone who can't see it is blind. In my state, they can now legally jab me with whatever ******** concoction they want, or else I'll be put away. Some people say "Well, it's good vaccines save lives, blah blah blah" Many vaccines do more harm than good, and I'm not getting one unless I would die without it. Also, ever hear of herd immunity? It's when the majority is vaccinated, therefore, they can't get it and pass it off to the minority who is unvaccinated. That way no one gets it.
How many red flags have to go off before people realize the US is not the safe place it used to be? As I was growing up, I always laughed at people who worried about politics. Because I knew that no matter what was wrong, which side was right, or in charge at least we all had freedom and we should be thankful for that. In the past year, events have been unfolding that have taken that right out the window. Do you think I would be going insane over one stupid post of some conference protest gone wrong? It's not just that. There are more and more things, all piling up, and that's why I'm afraid. When all of our "rights" are taken way because everyone just obeys like cattle, then maybe some people will start to realize the path our country has taken. Of course, then it'll be way too late. Comrades.

The lengthened school day/year thing is not some terrible conspiracy. It actually would help in some ways. I have mixed feelings on it. In some ways, it's better because it keeps kids off the streets and helps them learn more. But then again, more kids will probably drop out because of it, and if they don't, those who graduate have a better education and can better compete with those of us who are already hard pressed to find good jobs. Moral: The world needs less people.

Just because the FDA approves a vaccine doesn't make it safe. Sometimes drugs/vaccines have side effects that weren't seen in the studies on the drug until it is available to the public. They're hyped up to be this "miracle drug/vaccine" when they haven't even been out long enough to really see the detrimental effects. Plus, it seems like they really hurried along developing this H1N1 vaccine. Sure, the scientists who did develop it had good intentions. They just want to prevent any more loss of lives or the spread of the illness. But if there are any harmful side effects, aside from what they already know, they won't know until the masses have received the vaccine.

Well, I already know that one side effect is this disease that makes you paralyzed. That's good enough to get me to stay away. For me, life wouldn't be worth it if I couldn't move around be independent. Besides that, I already had swine flu and it was nothing. It was the same as the regular flu, except I was sick maybe a day or two longer than I normally am.
My mom and my boyfriend were trying to convince me to get a flu shot last week. My boyfriend said "I've had the flu shot like 4 times and I'm still alive" My retort was, "I've had the flu nearly every year of my life and I'm still alive." I've never had a flu shot and don't plan on it until I'm either old or pregnant.

I heard that about a week ago and was like "WTF? Isn't that a line from "Jesus loves the little children?" except they replace "precious" with "equal."
It does bother me. Again with Obama being a figurehead.
