Erik woke and sat up, reaching for the bag with their costumes in it. "All right." He said blearily. Could get an actual night asleep with his kitties.
Wally picked up the first 'bomb', waiting for Derek to pick up the second, waited until everyone was close -
Cap stumbled back when the 'landed', one hand going up to his ear.
"Rocky?"

Derek had been listening in, of course. He made no move and simply looked at Erik. Should they let Wally go home?

Wally was staring off into space, eyes huge. Daddy had died. Except he hadn't, and he'd been there when he graduated. Daddy had never known, except that he did and he didn't care. Mom had been alone, except she hadn't, and daddy had always been there-

So they went to the guest bedroom (the one Derek often inhabited) and he laid Wally down.
Huh. he felt kind of jipped that nothing had changed for him!
