RedFortune Religion feels bad man. sweatdrop It makes you feels guilt, tries to justify your actions, and all-in-all just pisses people off these days.

Reading through the "Halloween servey" thread, I noticed a lot of people believe in god, AND in ghosts (aside form the one girl who believes in god but not the devil rolleyes )...but their book of religion ( I.e the bible) says that ghosts (as in spirits of people who have died) do not exists.
I find their hypocrisy HILARIOUS.
Just sayin'.

By that respect Jesus could have said "murder babies" and it have been lost in translation. Why believe the bible at all, if their not sure what it originally said?

If someone says "I love Jesus" It's safe to assume their not a Muslim, or things of that nature.

YuriOfSexyland DIMD aside form the one girl who believes in god but not the devil rolleyes Yah. That's me. Thanks. It's what I believe, and I have my reasons. The eye roll was a bit annoying and unnecessary. I know it sounds crazy to everyone else, but again, I have my reasons. It makes sense to me and keeps me going, so it shouldn't matter to anyone else. x

In that case, Why beleive anything at all? You just read and are told things, how do you know that its not all a lie? How do you know that america was really settled by those religously persecuted and not by some random people chosen by the king of england? You don't know. you just beleive it's the truth. (I don't know if you beleive that's the truth, just making an example.) I personally have not restricted myself to one religions beliefs, I take what I think is right and fashion my own beliefs.

x-Gray Skiez I personally have not restricted myself to one religions beliefs, I take what I think is right and fashion my own beliefs. That's how I go through life. I still claim agnosticism, though. I doubt that I'll ever subscribe to any one religion if I do ever figure this world out. It will most likely be little bits and pieces from this religion and that religion.

Scientific evidence. Without it, nothing is really to be believed. If there is no proof, there is no point believing it. Sure there are things science can't explain at this moment, give it a wile; they'll prove or disprove it.

I'll roll my eyes at whomever I please, especially those who claim to believe in a story, yet pick and choose what they believe from said story. God created everything, according to religion, that means he created evil as well. You can't believe in one and not the other, yet expect to be taken seriously.
