THEATRE
Hush now child, watch the stage. The lights are off, the curtain is raised. The audience is quiet, anticipating much. They will get a show that ought to be God-praised.
The lights go up, softly, gently. The actors hold their poses, waiting for cues. The spot is on, scene one has started Now sit back and watch, later pay your dues.
Perfect acting, never a misstep, not that you can tell. Backstage they’re hungry, watching, waiting, Until it’s their turn in the light, in your eyes. They jostle in the wings, their enemies, they’re baiting.
Because you see, my child, there is in fact Drama off the stage as much as on. When the lights are out and the curtain down, A bloody race is run for a part, until it’s won.
Once the part is taken, it is acted with skill And through that you can see who deserved it, really. Acted with mind and body, acted with heart The parts they play become a part of them, see?
They bare their soul for you on stage. How odd they do so in another’s skin. But it is through their talent that you see What they truly are, to what they’re truly akin.
The last words I leave you now are these: And you know they are for a fact. Trust nothing in the Theatre, For after all, it’s all an act.

That's pretty good. I really like it

Thanks! ^^ __________________________ See the howling wind. Hear the silent dark. Listen to pages ruffling. The story opens the heart.
Let the senses envelop you. Let it all come out. Ink flows from the pen. The story now will shout.
The days and years will slow. Nothing else exists. A second is eternal. A few small words are bliss.
Feelings, thoughts, and emotions. Flowing through the page. We are what we write. From now to the last age.

Honorable Man Based off Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho (I'd like to Note that this is Fox Demoness Nizuki on my main account)
They never see me for who I am A brother, a fighter, an honorable man They judge me on a biased base My humor, my intellect, my perfectly normal face. So my powers may not be a stong as your demon senses may be I dont want to be like you, I just want to be me I want to fight for whats just Families, children, honor codes, a must I am just a human, working along demons side Tease me and taunt me as you wish, I will never hide. Sure, I may not be as strong as you No demonic powers or super speed, yet I still manage to pull through ... So stand there and continue to ridicule me for what I am For when it comes down to it, I will always be the more honorable man.

I love Kuwabara, he's definitely one of my favorite characters in YYH! You described what he goes through perfectly... and you still made it rhyme! ^^ I especially like the last two lines. They're my faves.

It may not be my best piece but I really love that several Kuwabara fans have found it to their liking so far. So thank you very much ^^

When anyone thinks evil... @Bleach: That was a very lovely peom. I love the subject matter which you chose to write about. It's very unique, and not often seen around gaia guilds (That I have been a part of, anyway)
Fantastic images, it makes me want to take a trip to Minnesota. Great job!
--
@Naeshira: The words of your poem flow beautifully, and so naturally off the tongue. I could imagine every bit in my head as I read it. Truely one of the best poems I have read in a great while. Thank you for sharing that beautiful piece with the guild, and bravo. Fantastic job. ^^ ...They think Ri-Ri.

Nujunuju1 Alice Never Got to WonderlandYou’ve got the fire in your eyes You’ve got the burning in your soul and just like your name is Alice You’re falling down the rabbit hole And there’s no cushion at the bottom no way to break your fall As you get closer to rock bottom into the night forever call You don’t know just where you’re going No Cheshire cat to lead your way No silky smooth voice As his smile begins to fade Tweedle Dee and tweedle dumb Have never helped you down your path But I guess that’s what you can expect from the whiskey and the flask Your life is just a mess And you’re always so very late as the Caterpillar picks you up for yet another Smokey date But you choose this path yourself you ate the mushroom and grew so small now you feel alone inside this city Inside these walls that stand so tall But unlike Your counter parts fairy tale The red queen is your fame Her silver cards that Hurt so well release her from your veins In the land of make believe You can escape at last But in this world where you now live You can’t Undo your past. This was my favorite of all of them. Nujunuju1, you have REAL talent! Fox Demoness Nizuki Can’t you see me falling here? In front of your very eyes Choking on the tears Of the innocents that have lost their lives Can’t you see your face? Reflected off the damp pools of blood On the very place Where you murdered your first love? Help me I’m dieing here alone Trapped in the confines of my mind Wishing that some one would come and Help me! And this was my second favorite. biggrin I kinda like darker stuff, if you didn't catch that. biggrin
