She sighed and followed the two kids warily, tense and prepared for anything. They were cute but that didn't mean they weren't leading her to danger..

Bloodhunt brought up the rear, not pleased.
They came to a huge wall of tangled prickly vines that rose higher then their heads.
Ember stopped before them. "Aren't they great? Redlance made them!"
"They defend us," Suntop said seriously. "And they feel like magic all over," he said sounding a bit more like a kid again .

She nodded absently focusing on the vines "Yeah they are.. I can tell. Its good work though."

Ember grinned then showed her the path to squirm in. "It's tight for adults to get in, but Redlance is busy so we cant bother him. He just had cubs!"
"Dummy, Nightfall had the cubs!"
"Air head!"
"Stubborn!"
"Featherbrain!"
*They can go all night,* Blood hunt grumbled. Noisy things, cubs. Why did everyone seem so keen on more?

"They sound like me and my siblings" She smiled lightly and used a little of her own earth magic to widen the gap so they could get through easier "There... thats easier" Though she waited for at least the kids to go through before she did. She had no clue what waited on the other side.

Suntop glanced back at her and grinned before heading in.
Ember glared at her brother and followed.
*I want to know who was slacking on watching the cubs* he grumbled.

She rolled her eyes again "Do you complain about everything?" As she followed the kids in.. closing the vines behind her to how they were before.

Blood hunt growled as a vine with a thorn smacked his sharply on the flank.
The Holt was a clearing with a huge tree shaped to have large bowls for the elves to sleep in. Beside it ran a small stream through a lake, and a small hill just behind the tree. Two other wolfriders were visible, lounging at the base of Father tree.

She smirked to herself at hearing the smack and looked around with interest "So.. where do we go?"

TwoMoons and Newwolf walked over.
"Shade and sweet water," Two moons said. She had heard others use the phrase, and liked it.
"Warm furs to you," NewWolf said, a more Goback style greeting. "Are you a wolfrider as well?"

"Oh dear," Two moons said. "do you need to sit down?" she asked Aife, worried.

"My teacher Savah told me a poem about it," Sunchaser offered. "It's what she sad to mother and father before we were born, when they had recognition. "Heart to heart are soulmates bound. Soul meets soul when eyes meet eyes."
"Recognition, I know of it more in theory," New Wolf said. "The Go backs haven't had it in generations beyond memory. It's an instinct that provides the strongest babies. Cubs of recognition always are the best of both parents and grandsires and granddams. Sometimes they even have magic."
"Our folks had recognition and hated eachother then they gotted us and loved eachother always," Ember said.
"And Dewshine had it and hated it," Suntop put in.

Ok... she didn't understand most of that, but there was one thing she got from all the garble. She promptly turned around and headed back to the vines without a word. No WAY was she having a baby NOW... and certainly not with him.
