My parents are happy about it. I mean my dad could care less but thats my dad. My mom doesnt like how they look alot like girls. I keep saying they are sexy but my mom likes gackt more than diru even though gackt looks more like a girl. They love me and they dont care what i listen to as long as i dont do anything stupid...idk parents are weird...

My mom takes it better than my dad. My dad once tore down my Diru poster and crumpled it up. My mom salvaged it for me, though. I don't know where it is right now. sweatdrop

My mom absolutely hates it (I made an Ain't Afraid to Die Kyo cosplay and my mom tossed it in the garbage ><), and my dad just thinks it's funny. >_> I remember when I was watching PVs in the livingroom and they were both making fun of me. x_x;

of course not, they dont even approve of miyavi or gackt. They think that either they are completely weird freaks, or dress to feminine....but i love freaky feminine men crying

Well. . .My dad says I'm "Freaking Insane" And that's it's odd and he likes to make fun of them because of their girlish looks. . I usually just insult him and he shuts up and I go away.
Step-mum says it's "weird" bvut as long as I have an intrest. . .I shall make her listen to it one day!!
Step-dad trys to mimick it and I laugh at him. . .He can't say much because of his music. .
My mum says they are all girls with boys voices. I make her listen to it in the car all the time.
Note: My step-mum now claims taht tehy are the reason I think I am bi xD;;. "THese are the people that make you think you are bi! They wear make-up and dresses, so you must like guys, but they look like girls which leads you to believe so!"

Thread Killer shinya_chan -My friends...hmm...a lot of them are neutral about Diru. Two like them a lot ^_^ And my best friend hates them (and all Japanese music) stare This is going to sound really odd but I don't think I could be friends with someone who couldn't accept the things I like. My friends don't have to listen to the music I like or want to tkae part in my little hobbies but if they hated it, I guess I'd just think they were intolerant bastards. Sorry, that's just the way I feel. Actually, not long ago I almost stopped being friends with her at all...I give her a ride to/from school every day (unless I have something after school, etc) but she turned off my music when she got in the car >< She said she had the "right" to since she was in the car too *rolls eyes* I got real aggrivated after a few weeks (exploded) and told her if she wanted a ride she had to tolerate my jrock. (heh...I really don't get mad very often at all sweatdrop ) But aside from her everyone else's at least open to listening to it, even if they don't particularly like it ^_^ (My dad just called and told me soon as he gets home I can order Diru's new album!...I've been bugging everyone about that for a good month ^^ *dances*)

My parents don't really care, they may stay it's stupid once an a while but they let me listen to whatever music I want to listen to. ^_^;; Which makes me happy. They don't care that some of the bands I listen to look sort of girly...... they just think I'm weird. whee
As for my friends...... I've gotten a few to like them... but others are like "WTF?!" when they either listen to a song of theirs or sees a picture of them. xd They asked me how I can understand them...... and I tell them I understand what they're saying through the music....... oh well... I will eventually get them into them.

Mwa. My friend Rachael thought I was a freak at first, and she still constantly requests I change the cd I'm listening to to English music. She asked me to burn her a copy of Kisou, though, and she currently thinks Die is "sexeh" and wishes she could look like Shinya. xp

My mom just goes "uh" when she see's any or the j-rockers i like and goes "ew why do they wear makeup!?" Its funny... i don't think she really caers much about them tho becus she let me order their new cd yesterday wooot! but my dad.....whenever i listen to j-rock he asks me "can you understand it!?!? HUH!?!?! grr grrr" then later when i turn it off he's like "good finally! that music makes me have a headache!" >.>;; but...aw well!! hehe.

Half the time my parents don't even know what I listen to. ^.^
I showed my mother a picture of Kaoru with his purple hair (because I want to get mine done like that), and she said: "Oh that's neat." and nodded.
Just for the hell of it I added: "And he's a boy."
She just sort of was like: "That's a boy?" ^^; She's pretty used to it now though since I like Gackt and Miyavi as well. I also had shown her a piture of Toshiya (one where he's got blue hair and is wearing a dress), for the longest time she wouldn't believe that he was a boy. ^.^
My parents are pretty cool with a lot of things, so that rocks.

My friends are just plain weird. xd So that rocks too.

They HATE it with a passion, they think everyone in Diru are Satan worshipers and they also think they are homosexuals. They purposly make fun of them to make me cry. My dad will be like "They look like girls, I can beat them up" But, my dad is full of S*** so, I dont care. He's jealous that I like them more than him, so he makes fun of Diru. But in the end, Ill ALWAYS love Dir en grey!! heart heart
