Sakura bowed his head, and walked close to Ocelot. The *shink* of an unsheathed blade made itself known. "Not as simple as you think... Meet 'Wax'..." A blade wat pointed at Ocelot's gut, it came from undeneath Sakura's cloak and from inside his coat's arm. It was slender and pure silver, the shine was eerie, like the glow of the moon. "You ought treat me with more respect, or Wax may have a more personal meeting with you..." He backed away, and the blade sheathed itself again...

"Oh I see, well I'm afraid that won't be happening, you see I need you here. I intend to use you to get information, or at least imprison Quin. Either way I get what I want eventually. Do not worry though, I will not let anyone harm you and I will give you free reign of the castle, although you will find it quite impossible to escape. You see, this place is just an out stretch of my mind and as long as you walk these halls I will know where you are thus avoiding that pesky act of trying to find an escaped guest. Besides, the undead are not pleasant to deal with, lord knows I wouldn't want them dragging me back to the throne room. But what is this, we have visitors."The gate in front of the two men opened and a ghastly voice said welcome.

"Heh, only for the cash..." He recited his master's old saying, as he entered the gates, and into the Manse. Upon entering, he mumbled, "Hope this pays good." He walked down the halls, wondering if anyone was home...

A butler grabbed Sakura's arm and guided him to the throne room where Cassus sat, his head cocked to one side.
"Why have you come here? I admit I am interested, usually the gates scare away most people."

a small blueish blur cut by Sakura, only a foot or so smaller than him. Tempest didnt pause until she was directly at Shay's side, throwing her arms around her waist and hideing her face against the older womans shoulder. " Shay, we were worried.. i wanted to go to Quin but Jack said no."
Still stunned by the mans words she reacted automaticaly, catching the girl to her and hugging her protectively to her side as she studied Cassus. " then.. i will not attempt it. so long as it will not cause him harm, i wont fight." she didnt want to cause more trouble than she could handle.. but the appearance of Tempest was a problum. she didnt want the girl hurt. " Tempest, why are you here? why isnt Abel and Darian with you sweety?"
scowling the girl pushed away, studying the man with a steady blue eyes. Snicket, who sat on her shoulder, hissed and chattered in her ear for a few moments. looking back to Shay she said stubronly. " well duh.. im saveing you. boys are idiots.. what help are they in a Rescue?"

"You should try that on a regular person, not one who's stared death in the face..." Sakura said uncouthely. He tried not to burst out in anger like he normally did; he hated to be touched by others. "I'm a Job Hunter... Maybe your purse is plump enough to hire me..." He said, with a dark smirk.

Ocelot followed Sakura down the hall and watched him be pulled away. He sighed and followed him along to where the people were. He muttered under his breath "Dolt."

Cassus began to laugh, it was slow at first but then it was horrid and suddenly gold coins began falling from the sky as if it was raining money.
"Wealth, I do not believe in wealth, I believe in power!"As he yelled power the coins began to shake until they burst into flames that seemed to coagulate and join into a fearsome fire dragon that blew fire into the air. But just as all of this happened it all disappeared leaving cassus standing in front of his throne.
"I do not want those seeking wealth, I want those seeking power, pure and ultimate power. What you do with that power I care not, but if you join me you will fight for the day we are all waiting for, the time when I find what I am looking for and all the power you could dream of will be right at your finger tips. If you are not brave enough, or heartless enough to do what is necessary to acheive this, then leave now. But if you, and even the man there with you, wish this power. Stay, and the mansion of Cassus will be your home, feeding and doing anything you desire."

" but your selling your soul for it!" Tempest challenged back, standing protectively infront of Shay. she was tense, the ferret on her shoulder bristled and bareing his pointy teeth. " the things your offering, it means pain for everyone else. power is what you make it, but you have no right to treat life so poorly!" takeing a breath she got ready for another tirad when Shay grabbed her, thrusting the girl behind her firmly.
" Pest, enough.." she cast a worried look toward Cassus, feeling her muscels tense incase he reacted badly to the girl. Shay still didnt know Tempest was a wolf, but she did know that the girl was a spit fire and raised hell with her brothers.. now was not the time to push for right and wrong.

Cassus began to laugh, souls he had a pleanty, in fact they guarded his castle. With a wave of his hand an undead soldier rose from the ground and began to groan.
"Souls are such fragile things, they are meant to be sold. Otherwise you end up like this man here, lost and forgotten yet useful. Regardless my child, you aren't going to rescue her and if you attempt it, I'll simply expell you from my home, and forever you will end up at the gate as long as you try to re-enter my mansion. It's a much better alternative to killing you so don't make my life difficult. After all, this is my realm and in it are thousands of undead just waiting to taste flesh. Oh and thank you my good man, now please tell me your name as I will need to address you in the future."He gave a nightmarish cackle and sat back down in his throne, this was certainly interesting.

" Quins meaner than that thing." she growled, though her eyes had grown a bit larger. Quin was the only dead man she knew.. and from the looks of the thing infront of her, the only one she wanted to know. ducking her head she held Snicket close, a small shiver passing down her spine as she moved closer to Shay.
Wraping a protective arm around the girl she frowned, green eyes sharp as she studied the men in the room. " do what you want, as he said your soul.. your choice. but realize, youll have to live with it the rest of you lives." her gaze landed on Cassus, her eyes going a bit cold. " im not in a position to ask for favors, but please do not scare the girl. bullying children is a little beneath you, with the power youve shown." it was a safe card she played, a little flattery with a hint of a reproof. he already said he wouldnt kill her.. and that she could not leave. that gave her a bit of bartering room to keep the child safe. lord knew, the girl barely got to act like a child.. alway cooking or takeing care of her brothers. best to let her keep what life she had.
