Maru smiled. "We're not up to much." She said. "I can finish helping set up Thali, I just wasn't sure what else I was supposed to do. Luke will help too!" Luke nodded. "We don't mind." Luke felt someting tugging on his pant leg. He looked down, seeing that it was Natalie. Luke bent down and picked her up. "What's up Natti?" He asked. Natalie frowned. "I'm borwed. There's no one to pway wif me." Luke frowned and looked at Maru wondering what to do. "Well, then why don't you help us set up until you find someone to play with Natti?" Natalie nodded happily.

The chocolate, he supposed, did smell better than the frogs. Less of a pond-reek to it. Mud alone was fine and probably even the frog alone and clean might have been okay (it had a faint meat-smell, after all) but the pond muck added a slimy, stagnated stink to it. Tolerable, but not enjoyable.
He wasn't sure what to do either as he hadn't really interacted much with other children. he tipped his head from side to side and then shook it. "Dunno."
As Sammi wondered aloud, Todd swung his head in the general direction her voice had come from. Tag? That was a new word... "Wha's tag?" he asked.

Sammi looked to Todd, blinking. "Tag fun! We chase and run and.." Her way of explaining wasn't exactly the best. "But.. We play bess kind, kay? So Todd can play too, kay? We play Blind Man Bluff. We run 'way, then! Todd chase us! He be blind man! It fair, right?"
Thali overheard her daughter's suggestion, and shook her head. Toddlers had a lot to learn about the world, and the elf wasn't sure Sammi wouldn't be considered biased for suggesting something like that. "Hey, Natti." She looked to her friend's daughter with a smile. "Sammi and some friends are going to play Blind Man's Bluff, you could go play too." She suggested. "I'll help your mom. You go on and play. Maybe you'll make some friends."
If only she could convince Reiya of that. Sammi's twin sister was leaning against her father, watching rather lazily. None of her friends were here, why should she join in?

Jaella glanced over, deciding to go check on the other twin since Sammi seemed to be okay now. "You okay, ReiRei?" she asked as she approached, offering one of her best smiles. She glanced at Ben, as if she hadn't seen him there before. "Hi!" she chirped, her tone cheerful as usual.
"Why are you sitting here all by your lonesome, ReiRei?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. It didn't make sense to her; there was plenty of fun things to do, so why would anyone want to just sit around?

It sounded like an easy enough game. Run and catch people. He wasn't even worried about how to catch people...just about falling. He really didn't like falling. He swiveled his head towards Sammi, nodding. Oh, there was even a special kind of tag where you didn't have to see! He wiggled in place, seemingly excited.
"Toddy play, yeah! I be best blind man!" he said, sounding proud of this fact. Seemed he was too young to be offended, which was just as well.
Vaguely Cris wondered, as he looked across the yard, if it was wise to let his son play a game that involved running and chasing. One, the boy was blind. This made him more prone to tripping and falling over than sighted kids that could peek or what have you. Two, he wasn't sure if letting the boy chase kids wouldn't excite his 'prey drive'. He didn't need a biting incident on his hands. Did the boy even have a prey drive? He was juts a kid but then again...he was also a zombie... He knitted his brows.
"Huh...should I be concerned about this...?"

Sammi seemed delighted now that she was getting attention. "Yep! Todd be blind man," she said happily. She really didn't seem to know better, or that she was being biased. "It okay, Todd. I make sure ooo no fall. Kay? No worry!" She patted the zombie on the shoulder like she'd seen her mother do with Josh. She clearly wasn't worried about the fact that he was a zombie. Ah, toddlers. They were so carefree and accepting.
"No one wan talk to me." Reiya explained, looking up at Jaella. "Twied talking. No one talk back." The toddler paused, looking confused for a moment. "Miss Dawcy, Jae. Wan Dawcy. Miss her. Where Aawon? Miss him." She wanted her friends. Not that Jaella wasn't a friend, just... She never really played with her before.

Jaella offered a small smile. "They're at home, busy." she explained. "And I'm sure they'll come next time." She then grinned. "C'mon, I'll talk with you, okay? We'll play." she said, wanting to make sure that the younger girl didn't feel too left out. She then looked to Natalie, smiling. "You want to play with us, too?" she offered, giggling. Someone was just a bundle of sunshine and giggles, wasn't she?

Alome shook her head, taking Tod's hand into her own, squeezing it. "Toddy.. You daddy tells Alome to take cares of you. So.. I make sure you no fall, kay?" She smiled sweetly and flew around behind him, so that if he did trip, she could help him retain his balance.
It wasn't much, but it was the best she could do, considering how tiny she was. It took most of her energy to maintain height, and if Todd did manage to trip, she'd have to pull him back with her weight.
