"All right." Dance nodded. "If you're sure. But don't hesitate to say it's too dark for you, I don't want you hurt. Don't think there's anything wrong with stopping."

"A.. Alright... Thank you, Dance. You're a good friend." She felt a little guilty for causing her friend to worry this much, but it couldn't be helped. Zareen had always been a little clumsy when it came to things like these and she accepted it.

"Can't have my new friend hurt, after all!" She laughed and smiled at Zareen. "No worries at all!"

Zareen felt a bit more comforted by her words. "I suppose not. Thank you..." Her smile turned into a genuine one.

Dance gently bumped Zareen with her nose, in a friendly sort of way. "Of course!" She glanced up at the sky, and the level of shadows for a moment, then shrugged. The canopy wasn't a problem yet.

Zareen chuckled warmly at the bump. Really, Zareen was happy to have been lucky enough to even meet this wonderful person. To have a friend who was so nice was amazing. She swished her tail happily in back of herself and continued to follow the other.

Dance trotted along happily next to Zareen, her tail flagged from her bouncy happiness at having a nice walk, and a wonderful friend. She gave a soft, happy wicker, and continued through the trees, keeping an eye on the shadows as they went.

"Forest is so quiet..." Zareen noted quietly. She frowned a tiny bit. "Are there not many animals around this area? I've always thought... Well maybe it's a bit late. I-I really wouldn't know so...."

"We're in the 'quiet' time... The period when the day animals are settling for sleep, and the night animals are beginning to wake up. It'll get noisier later, though not so much as day time." She smiled at Ree.

"Oh night animals. You must mean like owls! I've always wanted to see an owl.... I heard one when I was small once, but it was too well hidden for me to see." Zareen seemed to be a bit more excited at hearing this. "I heard they look kind of funny compared to regular birds. Rounder or something...."

"Owls, bats... other such animals." She smiled at Zareen's comments. "They're rounder, but don't let it fool you, they're deadly hunters of the night, for mice and things. They move almost silently... Well you'll see once things start up, maybe."

Zareen's eyes widened at this news. For such funny sounding birds they sounded quite vicious apparently. "That's a shame... Never understood meat eaters. Must be odd to eat another creature like that. I suppose these owls are much like hawks then..."

"Ohhh similar but Owls are actually better hunters... Hawks are nowhere near as quiet in flight and motion as a hunting owl." Cloud Dance seemed cheerful enough about this. "And I don't understand it either, but I follow the 'If they don't attack me and mine, we all need to live so I shall leave well enough be.' If they do attack me or mine, that's a different story!"

"I've never heard a saying like that..." Zareen commented quietly. She wasn't exactly sure if she agreed with it a hundred percent, but she felt it was a smart way of how to look at things. "I still can't help but feel bad for the things they kill though..."

Dance went silent for a moment, then sighed. "I would if I spent more time thinking about it... But I don't because I don't want to be sad... Since I know there are other animals at all times... needing to survive so... Hawks and cats and all... I don't want to be sad..."
