chaoticpuppet Moreover, would this heaven on earth be considered a utopia? If so, do you realize how impossible that is? In this reality, we need things like sorrow, and anger to experience things like happy. They are dependent on each other. How would you make something where everyone is happy all the time? Would this place be constantly changing? How does one defeat things like sorrow, and in return gain a lifetime of happiness? Haha. I think he meant 'enjoy life the way it should be, by changing your mentality and behaviour', not necessarily by 'fighting for it' using a certain ideal or anything as a sword. xp It's only natural to die, just as it is natural to be born. Sure, it can be saddening to most of us, but why stress over the inevitable? sweatdrop

chaoticpuppet Contingent TheGurentai Some people tell me they can't wait to go to heaven and I just see that as sad, because we could make heaven here on earth. How could we make 'heaven' here? How is it that people expecting heaven prevents this? Moreover, would this heaven on earth be considered a utopia? If so, do you realize how impossible that is? In this reality, we need things like sorrow, and anger to experience things like happy. They are dependent on each other. How would you make something where everyone is happy all the time? I'm not saying that we could escape the other feelings, there are just things we don't need on earth. Have u heard imagine by John Lennon, if we did wat he was saying in that song it would be possible for a heaven on earth. The main source of of sorrow and anger is that we can't seem to get along. we fight over the most stupid things, if some one would just say "lets foget this and go on" i think the world would be better. we need to realize that we are all people. like being kind to your fellow american, but i want to change that instead lets go for the whole world. Peace is possible we have to start somewhere, even if it is small.

To me i think the bible is use to show a person to a "way of life" some of it i learned by my self, even though i never went to a church or something like that my whole life. i'm not doubting your way of life, you be the judge of it. Anyways what you do in life is it out of the kindness of your free will or just to please god? There is nothing wrong with that, i was just wondering.

Peace is possible we have to start somewhere, even if it is small. So, then, what you are prescribing, really isn't a heaven, it is just a better place than the current place we are in, right? When you say "heaven on earth" that implies utopia. Utopia is impossible. I then have another question, if we were to have this "better place" is there any garuntee that the problems that were still there, would not be as large as they are now? For example, lets say that, in todays society, we have an index of intolerance at 35%; in other words, 35% of the population identifies with the qualities that are considered intolerant. Let's say that in this new and "better place" have an intolerance index of 15%. Would the intolerance problem be any smaller, simply because there is a lower index, or would the problem still be large? Keep in mind, it will be impossible to reach an intolerance index of 100% or 0%. Why? There will always be people who are not afraid of change, and those who are afraid of change. Let's face it, many of us are comfortable with that which is familiar, we don't like much change, and if we do change, it's usually not that large of a change.

If the intolerance index was 15% what could happen. Please give me some examples. I am not saying a complete make over, just the flaws in men. Like hate and things related to that. you can get angry at your brother or something like that, but can you really hate a certain race of people, even though you never meet them in person before?

I wasn't sure, it seemed like you were saying the opposite about things being perfect. I know not how one can hate an entire race of people regardless of whether or not they actually met them. I am not one of those kinds of people. Nor, do I want to be. Problems that could still happen with the lower index? Well, they are the same as on the higher index. However, they may occur less, but, would the outrage against them be the same, increased, or decreased?

I meant for people to all just get along. sweatdrop If we could destroy the flaw in men to start wars, this world would be a better place. Other countrys have also realize this( Japan). The outrage would be decreased, because when we stop being active in wars we will realize the cause of this, therefore with a better understanding.

my belife was and still is, that you arnt living rigth now. this is what i like to call "preperation"... in this world your, feelign, touching, seeing, doing,.ect. everythign you will do in your real life to come.
when someone dies, they are being born into their real life, weathe ror not they have reached what you call a, ripe old age. if a 82 year old dies, of natural causes or any rason be it a carcrash or something. they'er being born at that very minute that they die. say your walking down teh road and a car comes out of nowhere and hits you.. and your not too badly hurt but then it blows up.. now youa re badly hurt. but your not dead. you lost a foot. ok big deal. hold your ankle (or whats left of it) in teh air to stop the bleeding. if you had died in that accident, it would have ment you were being born. people talk about seeing "god" and tlakign with him. and him sayign it is not your time yet go back. theyre bull shitting you. what they are seeing is the passage way of their motehrs womb.
but then again, who am i to tell you how it really is

darkshadowofthegoths My belief is and was that you aren't living right now. This is what I like to call "preparation"; In this world you're feeling, touching, seeing, doing, etc. [what?] you will do in your real life to come. What exactly do you mean? What is the practical difference between this and "the real life"? Why do you believe we aren't alive? Quote: When someone dies, they are being born in their real life, whether or not they have reached a 'ripe old age'. If an 82 year old dies of natural causes or any reason be it a car crash or something, they're being born at that very minute that they die. Say your walking down the road and a car comes out of nowhere and hits you, and you're not too badly hurt but then it blows up.. now you're badly hurt. But your not dead; you lost a foot. Okay, big deal. Hold your ankle (or whats left of it) in the air to stop the bleeding. If you had died in that accident, it would have meant you were being born. What makes you think this is true? I'll need proof before I have any reason to think that your words have merit. Quote: People talk about seeing "God" and talking with Him, and Him saying it isn't your time yet; go back. They're bullshitting you. What they are seeing is the passage way of their mothers womb. "People talk about seeing their mother's womb when they die. They're bullshitting you. What they are seeing is God, saying it isn't your time yet." Y'see the problem with your statement? It works both ways. Another thing: Please type slower, and proofread your posts. It can be hard to understand when so many words are misspelled.
