i love snakes. i think that they are amazing animals. most people thinks that it is weird for me, being a girl, to have the slightest interest in snakes. i hate it when i'm stereotyped

MonkeysThrowTheirPoo Does any one have any suggestions on how to get your pet snake to shed their skin in larger pieces? Mine has been doing it in smaller pieces. -MTTP ninja If hes doing it in "smaller peaces" it means he doesent have enough humidity and probably needs a humidity hide. Take a plastic container and put sponges inside but leave enough space that he can crawl into it. Spray water into the sponges and put a hole in the container large enough for the snake to crawl into. Buy the sponges at the dollar store since youllhave to replace em every so often because they love to pee and poop in them. Do a "sniff test" every so often because you cant tell if they peed in it eccept for the smell. I dont use spaghnum moss because ive found bugs in it before

snakes are SO cool. Sure they did used to creep me out and I'm sure it would scare the s**t out of me if a snake happened to just slither by me out of no where but they are still awesome. The first time I saw the snake at the Zoo, I think it's like a python, it is SO big. like maybe four inches in diameter, give or take an inch or so. It was really cool. That's one of my fav. snakes now ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

Snakes are great. When I am able to look after one I will probably get one. I haven't had much experience with pythons, only venomous snakes.

I don't like snakes. The last time I went 4-wheeling I saw one on the embankment of the trail we were on and it scared me. Everywhere I went I was checking to make sure there wasn't any around. Me and my dad were the only ones who saw it though. My mom or brother didn't see it. It wasn't a poisinous one though. I'm so scared of snakes. Everytime this group would come to my old Elementary school with snakes and stuff I absolutely wouldn't go anywhere near them. One of my best friends was the same way. They kept trying to get us to just touch a small one but we refused.

I like some snakes depending on what sort they are, like I dont really fancy Carpet snakes or Pythons, I prefer the exotic kind or some which CornSnakeChick posted.

I like some snakes depending on what sort they are, like I dont really fancy Carpet snakes or Pythons, I prefer the exotic kind or some which CornSnakeChick posted.If you mean with exotic is the color, you better be careful with beautiful bright-patterned snakes, they might be venomous. I like the Gaboon Viper, though. Its length might not as long as the other snakes, but its color is nice. I ever see the white colored one. It also very venomous, don't know how much venomous, but I heard that it's totally dangerous. Not owned one yet, but someday I will.

blaugh I love snakes I think they are beautiful! I am more of a mammal person though so I don't think I would own one sweatdrop . But I do find that they are very lovely creatures 3nodding .
