((Basically... a little drama involving Kirai, Salazar, You, and Avarice XD))
Kirai turned to face him, then moved her eyes past him, glancing out the dark window. "I..." She smiled softly, a bit sadly, "Won't leave this place. I know it's a childish dream, a waste of life... but what of life have I to waste?" Her eyes returned to him, and she took his hand. "I'm alright, Edward. I've found my place, and when what is yours finds you... these things won't hurt so much, and you'll be more than alright. You understand? And your friends, too."

Edward squeezed her hand. There were so many things Edward wanted to say but he didn't know how to voice them. The only place that made the pain stop was when he was here. That was one of the reasons he stayed for so long and why he came back so often.
"Of course." he smiled cheerfully at her. He then gave her a hug. "I have to return soon. I told Salazar that he could come and hide in Haven. He might be getting impatient."

She said, "Alright, he can stay here as long as he wants. And... send Zai my thanks, for getting you out as well....she'll have to visit sometime."

Edward nodded. "And I will be back to visit more often. I know my visits were getting longer and longer apart." He reached for his gear, and put it on.

He kneeled down, and grabbed her hand. "I'll be back soon. Are the guest rooms ready? I'll be bringing back Salazar with me."

Kirai watched as the door slowly shut behind him. It's been 50 years... I almost forgot what people sounded like. She stood up, and silently walked around the room, pinching out the flames of each and every candle. It was pitch black, and she brushed her hand against the wall. No matter....although, I have discovered something... which I had long forgotten. She took a breath, and breathed out silently, closing her eyes. The beauty of solitude, silence... empty fascination, that of morbid beauty and cold longing... Kirai took a steep, and the silence was broken by a floor board creeking. Isn't that right, Avarice? Oh yes... and of hatred, as well... a proper thirst for vengence.... it'll be the murder's blood which first touches my lips, no other will satisfy.

Edward walked through the doors, the moon casting a long shadow. "Salazar, this is where you will be staying. Kairi is a very sweet vampire, but don't piss her off." Edward warned.

Salazar rolled his eyes and said. "Can it with the attitude thing. Its starting to piss me off." He walked in and poked his head around. "Nice place."

"Fine, just warning you is all." Edward walked up the stairs. "Follow me, I'll take you to the guest room." He disappeared down the hall.

Kirai smiled gently in the softly candle-lit hallway. She bowed. "It is a pleasure to meet you Salazar."

"Oh, hello. Didn't see you there for a second." Salazar said on his way down the hall. He bowed back out of respect for her. "You must be Kirai. You have a real nice place here."

"Thank you." She moved gracefully, almost like a ghost, skin pale white in the dim light over by his side. "Now, let us follow Edward and show you your room. If you need anything, don't fear to ask."
