"Blood?" Ky shivered, "well you definitely don't want to do that out here, there's more monsters that Atra that are sealed into the floor of Kall. We can go back to the medical rooms we were in..." Ky teleported them over like before, and turned on the lights with a flick of her hand.
It was the same room they had first come in.
She handed Toshi a dagger she found in a cabinent nearby.

"Mine," he told Des simply, taking the dagger Ky had handed him. "Now, all we need is a flat surface. Someone will have to draw the symbol for me. A pentagram, with a circle around it. I will do the rest," he said as he promptly took the dagger and cut into his left palm without any hesitation or cringing whatsoever.

Ky had seen and done similar things, and was quick to help with the drawing.
Asaiyo squinted in disgust. "Such a thing better have a purpose..."

Des cringed away from the symbol on the floor. He'd never seen such a symbol before but it seemed fiendish somehow. He did not think he was going to like this Aku very much at all.
Angela simply bit her lip and stepped out of the way, not wanting to interfere in the ritual or cause things to go awry.

Once the drawing was done, Toshi muttered a few sentences under his breath in an odd language. As soon as he finished the last word, he touched the symbol. The symbol reacted and started to glow, not in white, but in red. Toshi straightened up and stepped back.
It was a few minutes, perhaps three or four, but finally something happened. A man rose from the symbol, stopping when he was fully there. That man appeared to be around 6'2", his most outstanding features being the black thorns atop his head as well as the black forked tail. Otherwise, the man had short, boyish white hair, rather scruffy looking in general, and wore a pair of thin rimmed glasses. What he wore didn't seem to fit him, but in a way, it did; a white lab coat, along with a blue tie, white collar shirt, khakis, and a pair of worn dress shoes.
The man frowned, spotting Toshi first, of course, and went straight to him. He stopped only a few inches short. "This had better be important. I was in the middle of something." In short, he didn't look very pleased with Toshi.
"If it was that important, then you would not have left to see what I wanted," Toshi huffed back simply.

"That was...totally not what I was expecting," Angela commented dryly, when she saw the odd man.
Des stepped back a little. Fiend. Why in the nine hells did Toshi summon a fiend?

"Zen's sure not going to like the idea of this when he comes to..." Ky thought to herself.
"If worst comes to worst Des, we can sick Atra on him..." She told him under her breath. She herself was prepared to fight if necessary.
Asaiyo resisted the urge to shout at the newcomer.

Akutenshi glanced about the room at everyone else. "Not a very warm welcome, I see. At any rate, I am called Akutenshi," he told them, placing a hand to his chest. He took another look around, before settling his eyes on Angela. Going up to her, he promptly and bluntly said, "You're cute."

Angela was really not quite sure how to react. On the one hand, he was weird. And she'd just about had enough of weird men today thanks to Atra (who technically wasn't a man exactly but whatever). On the other hand, they needed this Akutenshi person to heal Zen and he seemed a bit dodgy so she really didn't want to make him mad and, therefore, refuse to help despite how she was tempted to insult him and possibly punch him in the face to relief some tension.
She sighed and decided to exercise a measure of control. "Thank you?" she said uncertainly.
She heard Ky mention that she was popular today. I rather wish I wasn't, she thought. Or at least that I was popular with normal people.

Des was glowering at Toshi--the one responsible for bringing this thing here. He knew Toshi couldn't see him but if he looked at that thing, he was probably going to start a fight and he very much wanted to not do that just yet.

Akutenshi smiled, but Toshi grabbed him and pulled him away from her. "Stop flirting and do what you were summoned here for."
"Well, I can't do that, since you have yet to tell me."
Sighing, Toshi motioned towards the smell of blood, which meant towards Zen. "You will heal him."
"Do I have a choice?" Akutenshi tentatively asked.
"Not really."
"Huh." Akutenshi made his way over to Zen's side, peering at him through the ice. He studied him and looked over the damage, looking serious for perhaps the first time since he'd been here. ". . . Who or what did this to him?"

Angela walked over to Zen as well. "Two Powers from what we know," she said. "We're not exactly how they wounded him. We just know he fought at least one--possibly both. Though I later fought one as well and defeated him--more or less--so I think it must have been the other that did this to him." She bit her lip and looked up at Akutenshi. "Do you think you'll be able to help him?"

"Powers, hm?" Akutenshi seemed to think about this, then looked at Zen once more. He stepped back and turned to Angela with a slight smirk. "Of course I can heal him. The question you should be asking is who is going to sign the contract?"
When Toshi opened his mouth to speak, Akutenshi shook his head. "You got your three wishes, that's all you're getting. Rules are rules." He peered out to the group. "Who else would like to volunteer?"

"That depends on what the contract entails," Angela said, lifting an eyebrow. She had to ask but under the circumstances, she didn't think it was going to be anything particularly pleasant. These sorts of things always seemed to be a double edged sword in her experience.
"Forget it," Des said in a very low voice. "Let Toshi send him back and we'll go find your father Angela."
"We don't even know where he is!" Angela snapped, turning on the other man. "Much less that he'll actually help. Akutenshi is here now. We should at least find out what this contract is exactly."
"We don't need--"
"Damnit Des! I don't care about your stupid Celestial prejudice against fiends! I really do not so please just keep it to yourself" She looked back at Akutenshi. "The contract?"
