Cloud nodded faintly as he sat up, relieved to have Zack off of him. "...Yeah. Using me as a pillow it seemed..." He chuckled and got to his feet, stretching. "...Did you sleep well...?"

Zack laughed a bit out of embarrassment and scratched the back of his head.
"S-sorry, Cloud. I didn't realize...But I suppose you already know that.." He looked down and shook his head to make any further comment. He soon got up as well and took this time to yawn and stretch out his previously curled up limbs.
"Oh, yes I did sleep pretty well. Especially with your stomach as my pillow~" and chuckled as he smirked over at his friend. He tried not to make it seem like anything else but a snarky comment. One he would make here and there.
"Ah, and how did you sleep?"

Running a hand through his hair, Cloud's wolf ears twitched. "Hmm.. Glad I could make your rest that much more comfortable..." He replied. He wasn't sure if it was sarcastic or not but it was a reply none the less. "Ah... I slept well. Though now I'm kind of sore." He chuckled faintly and stretched again, his tail flicking.

One puppy ear perked up in slight curiosity, the other one still folded over, Zack looked over at Cloud and faintly wondered if that was sarcasm as well. He simply chuckled in reply and nodded, noting that he was slightly sore as well, but maybe not as much, considering he had a "pillow" to rest on.
His tail soon starting to wag, Zack nodded and looked around them. "Yeah, so am I.. I suppose it's just being on the ground for so long, despite how soft the grass is.."

Cloud fixed his hair as he turned to face Zack. "...Do you want to go for a walk...? Maybe it will help get rid of the soreness." He began to pace about to try and wake up more. "Or do you have another idea?" He smiled a bit at his friend. "...You know... Now you really are Angeal's puppy dog." He chuckled softly, reaching out and scratched Zack behind the ear.

"Hmm, a walk sounds like a good idea." Zack added as he was still was stretching out his limbs out and concentrated on other things. He didn't realize what Cloud had meant until he reached out and scratched his ear. And the pleasurable sensation from that area soon came. Zack immediately started to blush as he looked over at Cloud, noting his friend's amusement with scratching behind his ear. His tail started to wag happily, not being able to deny the good feeling he got from being scratched there. Slightly leaning into the scratching, Zack continued to blush a deep red, finally making a retort to his friend's action.
"C-Cloud, hey, I'm... sensitive there.." he managed to say, trying not to show that he really liked the feeling.

Cloud smiled and pulled his hands away, chuckling softly. "Ah, sorry Zack... I just couldn't resist." He stepped back then looked away. "So... about that walk... Do you want to lead the way...?"
He honestly thought Zack looked cute was when he was blushing. He wanted to reach out and continue scratching Zack behind the ears, just to see what would happen. Maybe he'd get the other to bark? Ah... That was an amuse thought.

Zack looked away for a few moments, trying his best to regain his composure as he tries to put his blushing under control, despite his tail still wagging happily. An attempt that was starting to utterly fail quickly. He turned to Cloud, who was faced the other way. A perfect angle where he can get his revenge.
"Mm.. yeah, I can lead. But first.." Zack said, soon smirking and reaches out, scratching Cloud behind his own wolf ears, almost certain that he will get a similar effect on the other.

"H-Hey!" Cloud yelped at Zack began to get his revenge, scratching him behind the ears. He couldn't help but lean closer to him, his tail wagging in delight. "No fair...Zack..!"
He could feel his cheeks darken as he enjoyed getting is ears scratched. "..C-Come on... cut it out..." He tried to step back to get away from his friend.

"Heheh~" Zack snickered in delight as his own tail waggled to and fro while he scratched behind Cloud's ear. He noticed that Cloud started blushing and his wolf tail was waggling as well, just the same as Cloud had done it to Zack.
"Oh don't tell me you don't like the feeling, Cloud~" Zack teased and continued scratching his friend, having fun all the same time as he got his revenge.

Cloud ducked and rushed forwards, getting behind Zack, covering his ears as he stepped away. He tried to control the blushing on his face as his tail slowly stopped wagging. "...So..?" He frowned.
Truthfully he did enjoy it but he didn't want Zack to continue. He didn't know what would happen if the other did. After all his ears and tail were knew upon his death.

Looking over at his comrade, Zack might admit that perhaps he did go a little overboard with the scratching the teasing. In the days before, he knew he would bother Cloud on purpose, but the other was okay with it. He had to remember that Cloud is still rather unstable emotionally therefore taking things much slower. Also considering that perhaps Cloud hasn't gotten used to his ears and tail..
Frowning a bit, Zack's ears slightly drooped as his tail stopped wagging. He looked down and nodded. "Ah.. yeah.. I'm sorry, Cloud. I went kinda overboard there.."

Cloud regained control of his blushing and stared at the ground. His tail swished back and forth as he thought about some things then shrugged. "It's fine, Zack... Really. I know that you're just being you... I just have to get used to some things again." He nodded.

Zack smiled a bit and walked over to his comrade. Cloud was trying his best to adjust himself back to the happier self of back then. Perhaps faster than what was possible.
"It's alright, Cloud... I just have to understand is all. You just take your time adjusting, alright?" He nodded and smiled reassuringly. Being close with Cloud, Zack was rather tempted to reach out and scratch his ears again, despite all of the trouble he caused already. Deciding just to pet him, Zack reached out and gently stroked on of his ears and then took Cloud's wrist in his hand.
"Well? Weren't we going to go walking? Come on!" He said and give his wrist a tug.

Cloud looked at Zack slightly surprised that he was being so understanding. He knew Zack has kind and all but... to give him the ability to adjust on his own time? That was too kind. Cloud couldn't help but smile... a bit at ease of trying to rush things.
He looked down at his wrist and nodded. "Ah... yeah. Lead the way, Zack." He said and he began to follow the other wondering where their path was going to take them.
