____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan rolled her eyes. She highly doubted Sam would be able to keep on her good side. At least he kept things balanced. Despite herself, she laughed out loud as the Thestral spooked him. She covered her mouth with a hand as she calmed into a few last giggles. With laughter still in her eyes, she patted Sam on the cheek as if he were one of the skeletal horses. "Easy boy." His skin was warm under her hand and she quickly drew away, turning her attention back on the animals.
It was quickly diverted again when their mysterious housemate made herself better known. As she stepped more into the moonlight, Morgan recognized her as Adriane. When she spoke, Morgan nodded. "Yes. I do not prefer this situation." Although she was having a good time, being with the Thestrals was her own escape of sorts. She doubted that the others would wander out here without her, but still; she didn't like to share.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service Sam blew a kiss to Morgan as she told him to be easy and patted his skin. Her fingers were cool and it felt like she really didn't want to pull them away from him. He smiled, sure he was making progress. Still, he didn't like her making fun of him. He couldn't see the creatures. It could have been anything for all he could see. Though he did finally notice the dog was gone. He wondered when that had happened.
Sam glanced at the girl. She was more in the light now. She was--- He still had no clue. He was sure he knew her name. He frowned. He should just re-learn it then. But it was Morgan's words that made him turn back to her. He narrowed his eyes on her, then shook his head. He wouldn't get mad. "Alright then..." He said, shoving his free hand in his pocket. He started walking. He walked between Angelica and the other Slytherin girl, stepping over Evan as he went. He didn't look back. And it wasn't long until he whispered nox. The light of his wand went out.
Sam moved about the darkened forest. He could feel eyes on him. It was creepy. He kept his wand in his hand just in case. He had said he'd make Morgan happy. If her being alone did it, good. If she came after him, even better. Something rustled in the trees above him. He moved to get a better view of them. He didn't need it, the thing jumped right down in front of him.
Sam swallowed a yelp. A chimaera stood before him, looking like it was pissed. Sam stared at it, then realized his wand had a chimaera scale within it. He wondered if it was really pissed or it just always looked like that. He raised his wand and it turned its attention to the wand. Sam moved closer to the creature. It let him do so. He held a hand out to it. It glared at it. "Alright, big fella... No harm done... Just going to walk away..." The chimaera roared at him. It was an echoing sound. Sam didn't move. He just stared at it. So it didn't want him to leave. Alright then.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan was too interested in the braid she was working on. When she looked up after Sam spoke, she noticed the boy was gone. She whipped her head around looking for where he went. "Which direction did he go?" she asked the others. But she didn't bother waiting for an answer. The redhead sped off in the direction it seemed Sam might have wandered in. She wasn't concerned for the other Slytherins. If Adriane and Evan could find their way in, they could certainly get back out with Angelica.
Sam on the other hand, she was concerned about. Knowing him, he'd piss off something that was hungry. "Fool..." There was no light in the trees. Morgan was about to change direction when she heard a loud 'thump' in the distance as if something dropped to the ground. And then she heard Sam's voice. Not knowing what it was that made the sound, she creeped slowly towards Sam's voice. Peeking around a tree, she sucked in a sharp breath of air. Leave it to Sam to find one of the most dangerous animals in the forest. Morgan kept her distance but took out her wand and pointed it in the chimaera's direction.

Adriane arched an eyebrow, watching the redhead for a moment, before glancing down at the small Thestral. "I don't prefer it much, either." she commented airily, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Her lips parted, as she was about to apologize for not knowing their names, but by that time, the male had mumbled something and left. Shifting a bit to let him pass by her, she cross her arms over her chest, watching as he left. The light his wand had had was gone, leaving his current location unknown. Shortly after, the redhead girl asked where he went, but just as Adriane had jutted out her thumb to point out the direction, she was gone. Mumbling a few curses, she took a quick look at Evan, and the girl beside him. Deciding they weren't of any interest, she turned to leave the forest. She was stopped when she heard an roar echo through the forest, and she ended up biting her lip. Sounded a bit dangerous, and living was something she quite enjoyed doing.
Despite the fact that her head told her to head right back to the school and go right to bed, she was already walking towards the source of the sound. She had already cast nox, and stumbling around in the dark was nothing she enjoyed doing. Moving slowly, she spotted the girl from before, but kept her distance, eyes darting over towards the male...and, oh look. A dangerous mythical creature. Good excuse for going back to bed. However, she moved closer, but kept her distance, her wand now pointed in the direction of the chimera.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service The chimaera's tail moved to hiss at the two girls. Yes, hiss. The snake's tongue had caught their scent on the air. It swayed as if readying for an attack. Sam moved just a little in the direction the snack was staring at. Now as the wind picked up for a moment the only thing the snack would get was a big wiff of Sam with only a distant smell of the girls. Sam knew someone must have followed him. Or he was helping out a big scary of the forest that was about to jump him and rip him to shreds. Oh the possiblites.
The chimaera's entire form moved to keep Sam within sights. Why it was so interested in him, he wasn't really sure. At first he'd blamed his wand for having the chimaera scale, but now he wasn't so sure. The beast was staring at him and not the wand raised to it. It had no fear. It took a step closer to Sam. Sam stood his ground. He wondered what spells would work on this beast. He didn't get the chance. The beast jumped for him. Sam rolled out of the way, but it's back claws had cut deep into his left arm. At least it wasn't his wand arm. He felt the warm liquid move down his arm. "Sectumsempra!" Sam yelled. The curse cut into the beast, slashing it. Blood smeared the ground. "Blood for Blood..." He told the chimaera. The tale hissed at him, and the two main heads growled at him. He grinned at it, waiting for it's next move.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Oops. The chimaera was more alert than Morgan had suspected. She stayed perfectly still as it hissed in her direction. Normally she didn't have an issue with snakes, but seeing as this was not your average snake, she was on edge. The main body of the animal moved closer to Sam. Morgan tightened her fingers around her wand and took a step out from behind the tree. As the beast jumped for Sam, the redhead whipped around the tree to cast a spell. But before she could, a very delicious smell wafted over to her. Blood. Worse, Sam's blood. She inhaled deeply and shivered. To those who didn't know better, it might seem as if Morgan was disgusted by blood. Unfortunately, it was just the opposite. Sam must have cast a violent spell because a different blood scent soon joined the air. But Morgan was only interested in his. She licked her lips, barely in control of herself.
"Ep... Episky...!" It took everything she had to heal Sam's wounds rather than causing him more. She took a fraction of a second to be proud of herself for resisting. The smell of blood still permeated her senses though, and she wasn't sure how she would react. First, the chimaera had to be dealt with. The beast inside her told her to kill it; it was getting between her and her food source. Her human side fought for its morals. "Incendio!" She cast a line of fire between Sam and the animal. If the chimaera backed off, perfect. If it chose to cross the fire, at least its wounds would hurt worse and then cauterize, stopping the bleeding. Perhaps it would be enough pain to send it on its way.
(( You just had to spill blood didn't you! xD Damn it... ))

Angelica scowled as Sam wandered away through the trees, followed closely by Morgan. It appeared Morgan was making her way toward where he had disappeared with a purpose, though Angelica hadn't heard anything to make her worry about him. Shortly after Morgan vanished into the trees, the other girl also followed. Angelica glanced down at Evan, wondering if he was dead or otherwise incapacitated, when all of a sudden, a bright light filled the clearing. The thestrals flapped their wings and ran off to the opposite edge of the clearing. Squinting toward where the light was coming from, Angelica managed to figure out the light was in fact fire. Who in their right mind would set a fire in a forest? she thought, her scowl becoming more pronounced. Whipping her wand around in front of her, she stepped away from Evan and looked back at the thestrals. Surely they would protect Evan if anything came wandering? Surely.
Not quite convinced, Angelica followed the rough trail the other students had made when they left the clearing. Coming to a stop a little to the left of Sam and Morgan, Angelica saw a line of flames licking edges of tree limbs and causing the leaves nearest to it to curl up and wither away to nothing. Angelica lifted her eyes above the flames and saw the reason it had been conjured--a chimaera. Her mouth dropped open. Just wonderful. Looking over toward Sam and Morgan once more, Angelica noticed that Sam had blood coating his shoulder and Morgan looked quite interested in the shiny red liquid. Perfect. Holding her wand so it pointed toward the chimaera, Angelica kept one eye on the beast and the other on Morgan, hoping her desire for Sam's blood would at least hold out until they were rid of the chimaera.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service Sam looked up to see Morgan standing there. She was staring at his bloody arm and it wasn't a nice look on her features. He pressed his hand to the wound. It didn't work so well since he was still holding his wand. Morgan stuttered as she healed the bloody wound. He smiled at her. He was still a little bloody, but at least it wasn't getting any worse.
Flames roared to life. The chimaera roared and hissed at the flames. It paced just on the other side of them. The snack tail lunged at the flames, just to get burnt. The main head of the chimaera roared at the flames and the two on the other side. Then it turned and left, deeper into the forest. Sam let out his breath he'd been holding. His bloody hand fell away from where the cut had been. "It'll be back another time..." Sam whispered, staring in the direction it had went. He was sure if it hadn't been hurt it would have stuck around. It was a strong creature after all. He tightened his fingers around his wand. His wand was part of that creature. He was strong too. Right?
Angelica appeared out of the shadows just before the chimaera left. Sam finally noticed her. His attention was finally on something other than girls. Well, for the instant. Now that the threat was gone things were good again. He looked to the fire. He would let it continue to burn. It could burn down the whole damn forest for all he cared. He moved closer to Morgan and Angelica. He wrapped them both in a hug. It was bloody since he hadn't gotten around to fixing that yet. But hell, he was proud of his battle wound. Showed he was strong. He grinned at them both one at a time. "I knew you beautiful ladies loved me... Came to make sure I was ok..." He pulled them both closer to him.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Apparently the flames had done the trick. The chimaera, significantly annoyed, turned and fled. "Finite incantatem." As easily as they had roared to life, the flames vanished. The moment the flames had gone, Sam was wrapping his arms around Morgan and, she now noticed, Angelica. It was really a shame that Sam had acted so suddenly with the embrace. If he hadn't, Morgan might have also been able to make a run for it. But now here she was in the bloody arms of the boy she wanted to snack on. The scent was overwhelming; her head was swimming.
With a wicked smile, she wriggled out of Sam's grasp just enough to be able to grab his now healed arm. She tore the already ripped fabric open further, exposing his full arm. A small voice in the back of her head told her she probably should have cleaned the blood away as well as healing him. But it was too late now. Almost in a trance, Morgan raised Sam's wrist to her mouth and let her tongue dance over the skin where the blood had dripped down. She shuddered. Her smile grew wider, exposing her very pointed canines. She trailed her tongue up the length of Sam's arm, cleaning off the blood.

Angelica's eyes adjusted very slowly to the newly formed darkness. Blinking a few times in an attempt to be able to see around her, she felt herself get pulled toward something solid. Realizing it was Sam, Angelica attempted to resist, but his grip was stronger than she was. Allowing herself to be hugged, she rolled her eyes as he spoke before realizing he was holding Morgan too. Oh no. She watched as Morgan pulled away, hopeful that maybe she would leave and not act on any urges she might be having. Unfortunately, all she did was rip the cloth of his shirt to expose more of his bloody skin. Not waiting for what would happen next, Angelica pulled away from Sam, but not soon enough to avoid seeing Morgan lean down and lick his arm, clearly savoring the blood. She knew Morgan's...affliction very well, having spent several summers with her and her family in Romania, but she had never seen any of the Dalca's partake in consuming human blood. Only once did she look over her shoulder, to check whether the younger Slytherin girl could see what was going on. She wasn't that far away, but perhaps her eyes were still a bit unclear from the fire suddenly being extinguished. Hopefully, Angelica wouldn't have to perform any sort of memory charm on her.
Turning her gaze to Morgan and Sam once more, Angelica debated whether or not to try to pull Morgan away from Sam. She knew she wouldn't be able to by any physical means, and attacking the redhead with magic would only cause her to become angry. Taking a step forward, Angelica whispered "Morgan," so softly that she knew only the redhead could hear her. She bit her lip and took another step forward, continuing, "That chimaera could come back any minute.." It was a futile attempt, she knew, but hopefully Morgan could come back to her senses if she heard the chimaera might still be a threat.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service Sam watched the flames vanish. It kind of disappointed him. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness again. None of them had their wands lit. Maybe he should. But then Morgan pulled from his grasp. "Hey... I thought you came to get me not just to leave me again..." He grumbled to Morgan, who ignored him. Morgan ripped his shirt. "Hey!" Sam practically yelped the word. But it didn't really matter his shirt was ruined any way.
Angelica pulled from his grasp. He looked back over to her as Morgan played with his arm. He'd messed with girls more than one at a time before, so it didn't bother him to take his eyes off Morgan. He was actually hoping she would kiss the "boo-boo" and make it better. He grinned at the idea. Catching Angelica's gaze. The girl looked worried. Sam reached for her. He'd make her smile. Morgan's tongue touched his skin then. He shivered and turned his gaze back to her, leaving his hand half raised to Angelica. His smile fell away. She was licking the blood. Then she looked up at him, smiling. That was great, except for the fangs. "s**t!" Sam gasped. He tried to yank his arm away. His heart raced when his arm didn't come free. Sam knew his physical strength. He should have had no issue pulling away.
Angelica moved past him. Sam watched her. "What the hell is happening?!" Sam sounded a little shaken. He jerked on his arm again. Again nothing. He hated being weak. He pressed his free hand against Morgan's hand on his arm. "Let go!" He told her.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Sam's words barely reached Morgan. She was much too busy "cleaning" his arm. At least half the blood had been licked clean by the time the boy started fighting against her. Angelica was talking to her. The words were empty sounds to Morgan. That is, until she heard her say "chimaera". She paused, her lips pressed against Sam's healed cut. The chimaera wanted Sam too... It couldn't have him. He was hers. In her momentary and blessed freedom from the bloodlust, she also heard Sam's nervous words. He was afraid. Afraid of her. Her human side ached when he yelled at her to let go. Dropping his arm like it was a hot ember, she stumbled backwards, past Angelica.
"Hurry Angie..." she managed to mumble before collapsing to sit on the ground at the base of a tree. Angelica knew what Morgan was. She had for several years. And despite being reluctant to let her in on her secret originally, she was quite helpful. The redhead licked the blood that had transferred to her hand, occupying herself long enough for Angelica to clean Sam's arm properly. Morgan's hand was shaking, but she ignored it. She had never tasted anything like this boy before. It was rare that she would even have fresh blood. Her free hand rummaged around in the pockets of her robe in hopes of finding a blood flavored lollipop. It tended to act as a substitute; like nicotine gum worked for smokers.

Angelica watched with her nose wrinkled up as Morgan continued to lick Sam's arm. Surely it would only be a matter of time before she actually bit him, and then...well, Angelica didn't want to think about it. Sam attempted to pull away from Morgan several times, each time failing. Sam finally cried out, but Morgan didn't listen to him. It seemed that Angelica's own words weren't getting through to Morgan either, although when she said chimaera Morgan looked up. She seemed to come back to herself. She immediately dropped his arm and stumbled away, falling against a tree. She muttered to Angelica to hurry, and Angelica knew what she meant.
Taking a step forward toward Sam, Angelica pointed her wand at his arm and muttered "Scourgify." The remaining blood on his arm vanished. She tapped his shirt and said aloud, "Reparo." His shirt sewed itself back together. Glancing up to meet Sam's frightened eyes, she was unsure of what to do next. Taking a deep breath, Angelica whispered, "Sam...Sam, you mustn't, you can't..." she trailed off. She was sure he knew what she meant, but it was all a matter of whether or not he would heed her and keep Morgan's secret between the three of them. She turned to Morgan as she dug through her pockets. Angelica approached her friend, but avoided getting too close. "Should we go back inside now?" she asked in a soft voice.

Smart Ass Flirt At Your Service Something must have clicked within Morgan. All of a sudden she flung herself away from Sam. He just stared down at her. He couldn't think of anything to say. Hell, that was new even for him. He always had something. But then, he'd never had a girl licking the blood off of him. He couldn't take his eyes off Morgan. He felt bad for causing that look on her face, but what could he do? Let her keep doing that? Whatever the hell she was doing. He watched her search for something. He couldn't look at her any longer. He forced his eyes closed and away from her.
Sam felt something move near him again. His eyes flew open. It was Angelica. He watched in silence as she cleaned the blood away and fixed his poor shirt. Sam held up a hand to stop Angelica's words. They seemed to be fading any way. He shook his head. Where was his voice? He cleared his throat softly and looked at Angelica and then to Morgan. "I won't..." He looked away from them. "I won't..." He repeated softly.
Sam watched the two girls. He was shaken to say the least. He looked away from them and to the forest again. What was worse, two pretty girls that had secrets or a big bad chimaera that still wanted to take a chunk out of him? The answer was clear. Sam dropped to sit on the ground. "What the hell just happened?" He asked in a breathy whisper not really looking at them, but more of staring at his hands and twirling his wand between them.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Damn, no blood-pop. The redhead watched idly as Angelica made quick work of the situation. She pulled her knees up to her chest and rested her head on top of them. Shutting her eyes, she listened to her friend plead with Sam to keep her... condition, a secret. Morgan wouldn't look at Sam. Not yet. She didn't want to see the look of horror and repulsion that was surely plastered on his face. It wouldn't be at all surprising to her if she heard him run off. But he didn't. He agreed to keep the secret. Morgan shook her head weakly when Angelica asked if they should leave. No, she needed time to collect herself. When she heard Sam sit down, she opened her eyes, but kept them away from his face.
Then the inevitable question came. Morgan wanted to crawl into his lap. She wanted to cuddle into him and cry and mumble apologies into his chest. But there was no way she would allow herself to behave in such a way. With a deep, shuddering breath, she forced herself to look up. Thankfully, Sam was looking down. "I... I am half vampire," she began, playing with her hair. "My father's family is a very long standing and powerful clan. The Vladimirescu." Morgan's father had taken his mothers maiden name, Dalca, to help keep rumors at bay. It worked, to a degree. "The rumors around the castle are true... and I'm-" She paused. "I'm sorry..." The redhead blushed furiously. No point in going into details or admitting she wanted more of Sam then just his blood.
