He returned the smile with out a though. And she she nuzzled him, Rock snorted lighting, making her mane sway. He closed his eyes and listened to her breathe, it was so relaxing.
"So..what would you like to do now?"

"We could go for a walk. Maybe a swim. I'm not really sure which. Do you have a preference?"
The truth was the pink mare was loathe to move at the moment. She was quite content to lay there with her companion for the rest of the day. Still she supposed it was only fair to do something if that was what he wanted.
"I'm up for anything really."

Rockstar did not answer right away. He wanted to do so many things. He wanted to swim, walk, climb, graze, play, and do everything possible with Candy! He did not want the day to end, even though it just began. Then, and idea popped into his head. The perfect place they should go to.
"I know! I want to show you a special place," he said jumping up onto his legs. "Lets take a walk there, its not too far. I think you will like it!" He said with a crooked grin.

Candy chuckled and rose to her feet. "I'm ready whenever you are."
She beamed at the stallion, flattered that he was taking her somewhere special to him. This was exciting for her. No one had ever taken her anywhere special.

Rock smiled a huge smile. He was smiling quite a bit more than he usually was. But it did not feel strange in anyway.
"Its not too far, lets gallop over there, it can be a race!" He is almost jumping up and down in excitement.

She laughs as she stands up and stretches. He was so cute bouncing around the way he was.
"I'm ready are you?"
Candy gave a mischivieous grin and got into a good starting position.

Rock smiled at Candy happily, also flexing his muscles. He was not the fastest runner, but it did not bother him. He enjoyed running greatly and seeing that his friend was ready to race with him made adrenaline pump through him.
"Ready!"
And they both took off ina fast gallop towards the special place.

Candy laughed and chased after Rockstar. She was really happy. "I'm gonna catch you!"
She darted after the stallion with a happy whinny.

Rockstar beamed while looking back to see the pink mare running after him. He let out a happy whinny and they ran through the vast fields of green. The sun was already fully in the sky, but the day was young. He jumped over a log, hopping that he could spend the rest of the day with this mare, maybe even longer if she would allow it. His chest squeezed with excitement at the thought.
"You won't catch meee!!" He yelled joyfully.
He could see the sun hanging lightly over their destination.
The waterfall cavern.

"I am so gonna catch you!" She giggled as she too hopped the log and chased after the black stallion. They were acting like a couple of foals but Candy didn't care. It was fun to let loose once in a while and relax.
The sun was higher in the sky than it had been when they first met and Candy was excited about spending the entire day with Rockstar. She idly wondered if they could spend longer then that, but shook the thought out of her head and enjoyed their game of chase.
The pink mare got closer and closer to Rock and stretched her neck out. She could almost tug his mane! She could do this1

Rockstar couldn't stop laughing. His chest and heart were beating with excitement and happiness. He ran through the field, whinnying and prancing like a young colt. But he didn't care. It was so hard to find a friend that would accept you for whom you were. And Candy was a rarity in more than one way to him.
He saw as she was catching up too him. He willed him legs to run faster, but they couldn't. ANd she had caught him.
"Awww..." he whined jokingly and then ran behind her, "My turn to catch you!"

Candy let out an 'eek' of mock terror and darted away from Rock as fast as she could. She didn't want to make things easy, so she zigged and zagged as they ran.

Rockstar laughed as he watched Candy run off. "Run towards the sun," he told her, "Then you will get to our spot." He paused, still running. Our he though. It had such a nice feeling to it. Such a natural taste and ring. He loved it. He had never felt anything like it. He smiled proudly, hoping that it was true for Candy as well. He liked her. Alot. More than just any mare. She was special. He couldn't without his joy and happiness. He let out a loud whinny of pure joy and happiness. His eyes sparkling. They were almost there.

Candy did as he instructed and ran towards the sun. It felt like they had been running forever, but she knew it had been only a short time. She answered his whinny with a neigh of her own as she came to where he must have been talking about. Skidding to a stop, she gawked at the scene before her.
