Ellanra rolled her eyes and smeared his nose with cheesecake again, smiling. "You're the one with bad eyes, then. That and you drip charm everywhere like you soaked in it, that helps too."

"Ah, hell, lass, the only thing I go soakin' about in it a hot bath on occasion," Faolan said, then attempted to licked the cake off his nose and actually succeeded. He probably could lick his own eyebrows if he tried hard enough, really. "I donnae see the appeal. I ain't much to look at and I figure I ain't anymore charmin' than other didikai men. Women are a strange breed, to be sure."

"Trust me, then, when I say it's there," Ellandra said, watching him lick the cheesecake off of his nose and setting her own snack aside, resting her hands on her growing belly.

Fao noticed his wife's hands on her belly and moved to rest a hand there as well. "The weans are active today, eh?" He leaned down to kiss and nuzzle her belly, hugging her gently.

"When aren't they?" Ellandra asked softly, a small smile spreading across her cheeks. "I think at least one of them's a dancer for sure, with how active they are."

Faolan got up and sat back on the bench, making sure his butt was on it before relaxing. He shrugged, looking at Elle. "I ain't got everythin'. Well, I didnae have everythin' till I got you, anyway. I guess, I saw in you somethin' I didnae have . . . order, maybe?" He scratched at his cheek, not really sure how to answer exactly. "Donnae think I saw any one thing in you. Just saw you an' knew I'd ne'er be whole without you. I had to have you."

Ellandra blinked. "I. . . order's not really all that it might seem to be, though, Faolan. It was hardly pleasant, in my case." She did, however, blush when he said that he had to have her - that made her feel just a bit better, at least.

Had you not been so unbearably shy, I'd have taken you that first night and we'd be changin' diapers already, probably."

"Well, we don't have to worry about that for a while yet," Ellandra said, though the smile drifted from her face a bit at the thought of how much harder it would be to fit everyone into the vardo once the twins were born, nwo that there were so many living there, two of which couldn't go outside at the moment.
