"Fine," Rayne said, letting out a sigh. She put her gun on her back, and walked out of the ally. "Elistral, I'm going to walk to the other side of town, to check down there." She walked down the dark street. Night had only just begun, and it was crazy already.

"Come back safely, young Rayne. And be sure to bring along Strider when you do." Elistral said to the back of walking woman. Rayne was capable of protecting herself at night, proving herself more than able. And now this new arrival, Strider, was sure to not get caught up with this dark threat. She turned away from the broken wall and went to patrol the Town Square. There was a small need for protectors now, and she hoped that Strider would help their cause.
Verin got up warily and closed his window, pausing when he saw a big hole in the wall, opposite of him. He placed his knife back on the bed table, but didn't slide the blade back in. If someone else came, he'd be ready this time. He got back under the covers and shut his eyes, hoping to atleast get some rest before morning.

Rayne took out one of her pistil and swung it around her fingers like she usually did when walking around. She hummed to herself a song. The only think from her past that remains.

Blair growled silently. She was ontop of a roof. No one can see her from the streets below. Her arms where across her chest and her hair seemed a light pink or some kind or indigo color. "Almost had him..." Blair frowned, her two canine teeth exposed. The boy was almost hers, but she'll get him later. "I'm his Guardian. I wont abandon him." She laughed quietly to herself.
