((A song I can really play on an instrument!!!!))

Hikari smiled and quickly made a bridge into the next melody. She hummed along with it. The song was very sad, but had a sweetness to it. Hikari had learned this song on her own many years ago. It was a beautiful song about two brothers on their journey. No matter what happened they never gave up. Even if they where separated by a great distance, they still found a way. Hikari had played the song almost rarely for her guest found it saddening.

((Wow I made a reference to the moive. Also the girl that voiced Lust will be Maka in Soul Eater))

"Oh, hey guys. . . " Mikaro started to say as he pointed out the window. He looked behind him and saw no one there. Sweatdropping he sighed and walked into the kitchen where he spotted the two hiding unsuccessfully under the table, their feet sticking out from under the table cloth.

Lifting the cloth to peer underneath, he smiled reassuringly at the two huddled figures.

"I forgot about you two hating storms. But come here, I want to show you something."

Gently he held out his hands for the girls to take.

Hikari smiled, and took Mikaro's hand. "Sorry about this," she said rather embarrassed. Her fear had gotten the better of her, she usually did a great job to hide it. Her parents didn't even know about her fear. She usually just ran to the nearest musical instrument, and blocked it out. "I guess it just got the better of me.""

Hesitantly, Sachi took Mikaro's outstretched hand. Careful not to bang her head on the table, she crawled out of her hiding spot, straightening her skirts when she stood up. "Sorry, Mika-kun." she apologized, trying not to remember there was a storm coming. "Hang on, I'm gonna get Inu-chan." she said, running over to her bag for her stuffed animal. Pulling her favorite stuffed animal out, she ran back to her kohais, clutching the dog to her chest. "So… what was it that you wanted to show us, Mika-kun?"

With each girl in hand, Mikaro lead them back into the main room.

"Now before you all get too panicky, look out the window. See?" He had stopped at the still open bay windows, light reflecting off the glass and playing shadows over their bodies. Outside several large balloons in the shape of flowers and a bunny were being handled by a group of students.

"It is only the balloon club getting ready for a parade. They have to test their new creations before they can enter them with the floats." Even as they watched, one of the flowers sagged and drifted over the sun, causing a dark shadow to engulf the room.

"Hmm," he sighed as he watched the group scatter beneath the collapsing giant diasy.

Her eyes grew wide and round at the sight of the giant balloons, her fear dissipating instantly. "Uwaaaaaaa!!! Those are really big balloons!! Kawaiiii!" Sachi squealed, hugging her stuffed dog tightly with delight as she watched the balloon club below. She did note, however, that the club seemed to be having problems with the balloons. "Hey, Mika-chan, Kari-chan, should we go down and help them?"

Hikari smiled, and looked at Mikaro. "What do you think," she said with a huge smile, "Should we go down to help them."

Taking a sweeping glance around the room, Mikaro thought in silence for a moment.

"I don't see the harm in it. It's not like we have guests to entertain today anyhow." With a nod as if he was agreeing with himself, Mikaro went to the couch and gathered his book and bag. He halfheartedly tossed it over his shoulder and looked back at the girls.

"Come one then. Let's not be all day about it." He added a little quirk to his lips, a hidden smile to the untrained eye.

The look made him even more charming than his spaced out, uncaring about the world look. It made all his fans beg. They always wanted to see him smile openly, though he rarely did. He rarely laughed with guests around either. He didn't have anything against the girls, he just found it hard to open up to so many people at once and relax. It was why he was the cool silent bookworm. He could ignore them and enjoy his readings and they would dream of his undying attentions. As if they thought he would treat them with as much love as he did those bounded pages.

But as far as his dealings with the other hosts, he was more easy to smile and even laugh at times. He still had a tendency to use his hosting looks on them, but that might just be written off as his natural appearance. They didn't know it, but most of the time he didn't even try to look one way or the other. He just was and they loved him for it. It was one of the reasons he stayed with the club. As some would say, he was a natural.

Hikari smiled widen when she saw Mikaro smile. "LWell lets go then," she said in a sing-song voice leading the way. As they made there was out Hikari made sure to lock the door behind them so the newspaper club wouldn't try to start something...again. Her father warned her about the club, but they didn't seem to care for now. So Hikari just waled down the empty hallway in the afternoon. Since there were no one in the halls other then them is was quiet. There was also no fan or other people to deal with. The popularity had grown with the host club since her father's time.

Hikari loved her job as a hostess though, all she had to do was act lovely, and play an instrument or sing. Hikari had several regulars now though, most upper classmen which was hard for her. Several where snobs, but she did her job, the best she could. Her customers were split though, half were boys that drooled on her, while the other half were just girl who were rather to lonely. So she would either just sit there, and please them the best she could or cook or play something. She was sometime envious of the other members who were true naturals, and always acted there type. Her true type was quiet and shy. She wanted to join another club, but her father did kinda push her for the host club.

Hikari would never regret her decision though. She just wished she was a better leader for the club.
