[[ugh >.> I hope the pain goes away soon. Yea, that's what happened to me the first year too. Next time, if you can find out your books ahead of time, try amazon. There are usually people selling old college books there (haha, that's where some old ones of mine went!), just for giggles, search the books you got and see what some are selling them for. Of course, you just have to be careful about how trust worthy people are or condition of the books. I probably should have warned you about that ahead of time >.> sorry. Yea, he's continually asked me if I called the doctor but I haven't >.> I'm just scared they are going to stick a tube down my throat- a tube to see if there is an ulcer or even something stuck. Ugh, but I probably should.]]

Joey made a playful angry face at Sam as she said he deserved it. "Ok, time to find the slow poke," he said bringing out his cell phone and texting to her. 'Where r u?' he texted to her. He looked around, the hallway was starting to die down a bit. "Probably didn't even see her if she walked by," he said shifting through the students with his eyes.

Akiko fake whined as she waited there. She heard a little beep and peeked at her phone, she texted back to him, 'In class, help'. As soon as she put her phone away, she looked up to see Tea in front of her. She used her better judgement and decided to be nice to her. Or rather, civilized more so then nice. "Oh after school? Um, something. I don't know what exactly," she replied honestly. "H-he already invited you to come?" she questioned. Sure that was his friend, but already he asked her to come along? Maybe it wouldn't have been such a big deal to her if she wasn't reminded about before. She had to get over that! It meant nothing, right?

Seeing his former host was ok, he diverted his attention to Sam. "You were saying that we were going to go out and celebrate. Did we ever decide on where to go?" he asked her. "Where do you want to go, Sam?" he said smiling. It wasn't that he usualy scowled, but Atem did have a naturally serious looking face. However, he always seemed to smile the most when he was around Sam. What was not to smile about? She was so gorgous and wonderful to be around. He felt so good inside when he was with her. And did he mention she was beautiful?

"In class, help?" he announced her reply back in question. "Well, let's go get her," he said having the group follow him to help her. "I can't imagine why she would need help. Just jump into the group and go! That's what I do!" he said a little innocently.

[[bah! I hate taking so long to meet up with Seto! >w< definately have the group meet with him in your post or my next post ^_^' Also, I'll be staying on for a while if you wanna hang around. Tomorrow I have some things to do in the morning and as for the afternoon and evening I don't know right now. @_o]]

[[they say that they give you 'laughing gas' so your out of it but you are awake. And that's what scares me. The tube is small but it's still the fact of the matter. And apparently it doesn't take that long either. Oh god, I wonder what I would say if I had laugh gas XD ]]

Joey gasped as Yugi was thrown on topp of him. "Sam! You could have told me ahead of time! Good thing your light there buddy!" he said but was in good spirits. He then laughed when Yugi said he was a giant. "Yea! Well at least you got a transfer student who's a girl and about the same height as you!" he said playfully. He had no idea that Yugi liked Akiko or visa versa. If he did he probably would try and help his buddy ask her out, however he would probably cause more damage then anything. Joey was very forward with girls- any advice he were to give Yugi would be from his own bad habits. "Hey! I'm not a horse you know!" he said laughing when Yugi kicked his sides.

"Oh...." Akiko said looking away from her with just her eyes. Thankfully she didn't have to deal with her alone for long as her friends came to get her. She smiled again and went over to Sam first. "Yea we did!" She then looked up to see Yugi on Joey's back. She tilted her head and smiled. "Now that's a good idea! Joey, why didn't you come and get me and bring me back like that?" she joked although it would have been a real help. She still smiled at Yugi when he greeted her. But she was still kinda upset with Tea saying how close they were. Again, any other person who said that, even if Sam said that to her, it wouldn't be as upseting. But something upsetted Akiko about Tea being so caring of Yugi. "I got scared! I didn't want to get trampeled on!" she said to him.

Atem actually knew what place she was talking about. And it was very fancy- it had almost a nightlife feel to it as well. He knew it was expensive, but he still wanted to pay for Sam. Even though that was quite silly since her brother was the richest man in Japan and at least in the top 5 for in the world, she could afford anything. But wasn't a man suppose to pay for a ladies dinner? Then again, this wasn't a date between the two. But it could be, well not an official date. Atem had to try his hardest to win Sam over at the dinner tonight. If he could at least get her away from Joey- he could charm her. Atem wasn't one to lack confidence, but when it came to trying to pla yhis cards right with Sam- he was a bit shaken. Losing her meant losing everything and he wouldn't stand for that. "That sounds great. I know the place, really fancy. Has a romantic feeling to it, don't you agree?" he said kind of cooly. He couldn't help but widen his eyes when Sam threw Yugi up onto Joey- practically without a sweet. She was rather strong. Next thing he new his hand was in Sam's hand as they raced down the hallway. Atem's face was flushed as he couldn't help but stair at their hands. It may have been a friendly gesture but his heart was fluttering. He then tried to remember if she even held Joey's hand- he believed she hadn't. Once they found Akiko and stopped, he kept her hand in his. He knew they could let go but why? He then saw Tea, good feeling gone. He knew that Tea saw their hands together but didn't even consider letting go. His eyes widened when he heard Tea was going. Did Yugi invite her? If not then he just did. He facepalmed with his free hand. Now he had to deal with Tea and Joey.

Akiko was about to answer when Tea squished Yugi against her chest and answer for herself. Akiko couldn't help but let out a growl. She tugged on Yugi's shirt and said, "Well-well we should hurry up and get out of here, right?" She said the first thing on her mind to try and reclaim his attention. But she felt rather hopeless, she didn't feel she could compete with Tea. Especially when she had to see Yugi's reactions to her! Oh! Why couldn't she flirt? Why was she so retarded when it came to things like that? She started walking away regardless of whether or not she got Yugi's attention. "Come on guys!" she said a bit impatiently. They couldn't hug if they had to walk.

[[oh god XD that's gunna be fun when I get my teeth done. btw, I didn't ask- how did that go today? I know you said your in pain now, is it real bad?]]

Akiko still felt a bit grumpy about Tea, yet again, showing her display of 'caringness' to Yugi. She could just tell him how she felt and maybe that could end all of the jealousy and anxiousness- but she couldn't do it. She would hate herself if she did and Yugi refused her feelings. And he would think she was so weird! Oh god, and what if he thought she was a slut cause they were living in the same house? She whined to herself as she closed her eyes- at first not seeing Yugi there. She perked up and looked at him. "Oh ah....." she said trying to hold back anything she was thinking so it didn't slip out. Sam mentioned the hibatchi and Akiko answered, "we're going to the hibatchi too right? I definately want some sushi!" She then ocer at Sam and blushed, "Oh yea ok. Should I grab some clothes real fast and meet you at your house? We're not that far away." Maybe Sam could help her out! Sure Akiko had nice clothes but she needed some advice to look good. She wanted to try and make an impression, perhaps try and compete.

Atem was so pleased that she remained holding his hand. Until they got outside, and he knew why. Kaiba. Kaiba and him never had been on good terms. Sure, Atem respected him and tried to get him to be their friend, but they still were rivals. When they let go of one another's hand Atem instantly said, "Sorry...." He didn't know why he said that. He wasn't sorry, he was happy. Perhaps it was because she moved her hand away so quickly? Or perhaps he was just nervous? He didn't bother persuading Kaiba to join them- it didn't matter whether or not he joined them. It didn't cross his mind that he too could prevent him from spending time with his sister- but at this point he couldn't help but think about something Sam said. Her dressing up. What would she dress in? He fantisized about all the nice, and possibly sexy, things she would be in. He may be rather noble, but he was a guy- he couldn't help thinking such things. And he certainly wasn't ashamed or embarassed to think them.

Joey almost felt full of energy when he saw Kaiba. "Aw come on there Kaiba. Surely you can pull away from your busy schedule to have some hibatchi with us. Or even sushi at that?" he said persuading as well. Whenever Kaiba wasn't being a jerk, Joey did find himself trying to be his friend. He didn't know why, but even after taking all of Kaiba's abuse, he still wanted to be friend's with him. Or at least close, something. "Don't be afraid to socialize. It's not all that hard," he playfully picked on him as he shrugged his shoulders. He didn't really pay attention to anyone else now that he saw Kaiba. He just, really wanted him to go.

"Yea! Definately!" she said very excitedly. Oh thank goodness! Sam was such a lifesaver. She wanted to look really good for Yugi tonight and Sam definately could help her. She also was thinking about discussing Tea to Sam. About what she was noticing. She didn't want to completely give away she liked Yugi, if a friend new she felt she would be pushed too much to say something to him. Then she may chicken out completely! Well, maybe if she couldn't talk about that to her, perhaps pointers on flirting? She flirted with Joey and seemed decently good at it. Which reminded her! She wanted to find out if Sam was now interested in Joey or still Atem. She had to be interested in Atem- she still talks about him all the time! She giggled to herself at that thought, she thought they would make a good couple. "That sounds good to you right? If I go get ready with Sam and remeet up with you guys?" she asked Yugi feeling like she needed his ok. She didn't want to leave him alone- especially now that Tea was going to meet at his house! Ohhh! What would she do to him when she wasn't there?

"Well then Yugi and I will meet back with you two when we finish," Atem said as he got into the limo as well as everyone else. He didn't include Joey only because he really had Sam and himself on his mind. Even with Kaiba in the limo- he felt a lot better now that Tea wasn't with them. He was pretty sure Sam wouldn't let her ride with them. He found himself asking himself mentally, why did it all have to be so difficult? It was really unneccissary. He sat next to Sam and once everyone was in they started driving off. He so badly wanted to ask Sam what she was going to wear- but he was certain he couldn't with her brother in the car. That was fine, it would be more of a surprise when he saw. Now he had to think about what he was going to wear. He got kinda quiet as he mentailly prepared some outfit in his mind.

Joey made a not so serious scowl. He couldn't be completely angry- afterall Kaiba did say yes. He jumped into the limo next to Sam's other side and said, "Alright! Drop me off too then?" It was hard to pay any attention to Sam or his other friends when Kaiba was there, "So what do money bags like you enjoy dining on?" He was feeling pretty good right now, although that could always change now that he and Kaiba were in an enclosed area.

[[oh my god..... so I went to the doctor's today after running errands with my mom. I feel so stupid, you know what these things are? It's called Tonsiliths- tonsil stones. They are really nasty, it's build up of dead cells and oral bacteria that hardens. It's very very common- lots of people get it and they don't even know it (they usually swollow it). No medicine, no proceedure, just cough it up when you can or use a q-tip. I was relieved, but god damn it, really? That's what it was the whole time? I'm thinking I have an ulcer or something horrible crying . And did I mention they are totally nasty? I got rid of a lot with the q-tip today- my throat feels SOOOO much better ^____^ ]]

Joey growled when Kaiba basically called him poor. "Well not everyone can eat eskargo every night of the week," he replied back with a pout. Seriously, he wasn't that poor as Kaiba thought he was. He could be better off but what did he expect? His father didn't work and neither did he. And it wasn't like he wasn't trying! But not a lot of companies in Japan wanted to hire high school kids. Joey then looked over at Sam. She was showing off that card again? Ok, so it was a really cool gift- but now that he felt that Atem was competing with him, he didn't want him to have the upper hand. He tried to blow it off, "Wow Sam, you really like that card..." And despite everything, he didn't completely mind at the moment. He hated to admit it, but Kaiba had his attention more then anybody at that moment.

It was certainly worth giving that card to Sam. There may be only one of them, but to see her so happy about it, parading it to people, it made him proud. He would definately have to get her more things. He was believing more and mroe that he could win over Sam. Which brought him peace- his confidence was not as rattled as previously. Never the less, he was still nervous.

Akiko jumped out of the car with Sam and the others. She's never really dressed up to impress someone before. She was real nervous, but excited none-the-less. She was starting to even believe she could impress him over Tea. "Ok, see you later," she said and waved mainly toward Yugi. She then looked at Sam and grabbed her hand. "This way!" she said rushing with her to her room. Once they were there she started digging through clothes. "What about this? Or how about this? Well I have this too but do you think it matches with anything?" she said showing Sam piece by piece excitedly.

Atem watched as Yugi walked into the house and Akiko dragged Sam off. "Later Sam...." he said giving a small wave as they entered. He sighed as he walked into the house. Ok, he took a shower this morning so he was ok with Yugi taking one. He just needed to spruce up and chose a winning outfit. Shouldn't be hard, he felt he had a sensible taste in fashion. Once he was in his own room he striped down to nothing but boxers and searched his closet.

Joey waited outside as everyone entered into Yugi and Atem's house. He glared at Kaiba again. But he did have a point, did he have anything nice to wear? "Well it's just a hibatchi place, how nice do you have to look?" he said with an attitude. He didn't know the place and didn't realize how fancy it was. "Besides, who says I don't have nice clothes," he said unwilling to admit he may not have something nice. He crossed his arms childishly and looked away from Kaiba.

[[I keep forgetting to ask, how fancy are we making this place? I need to picture what Akiko is going to wear- along with Atem and Joey. Like, is this place like a 4 or 5 star place where everyone is dressed in a dress and such or is this an expensive night life type of place where people still dress nice but not so formal. It's up to you, either or. I just didn't know what to have Akiko and Atem choose. And don't worry about the romantic thing- I miss a whole lot more things then you do XD plus I was pretty damn tired last night @_x ]]

[[And how are your teeth/ mouth doing today? :3 Can't be as painful as yesterday, can it?

yea! I've had them before too during allergies or nasal colds- but I didn't realize they were in my tonsils! I thought it was coming from my throat! D: I hated explaining it to my doctor but he was like 'I used to get those all the time and blah blah blah' hahaha XD There is no treatment for it, it just happens. The only thing I can do is to up my oral hygene- aka brush more. Which I should be doing anyway so it's all good. At least people can't really tell if you have them.

Ok, now I have a general idea. I'm thinking either a black skirt with some type of nice shirt and a tan cargo shot jacket. Or a flowy dress that goes to her mid thighs. The dress probably has some type of tealish/green design on it. And she'll still wear the cargo jacket. Some type of jewlery too, not sure yet. Oh and black flip flops, she hates heels XD]]

Akiko started sorting though some of the things she ripped out of her closet- things that Sam said and a few pieces she thought may work as well. She could decide at Sam's house what exactly to wear. She didn't have much jewlery, nothing fancy. However, she did grab a braclet that was kinda special to her. Akiko tossed in some hair products and accessories along with her black nice flip flops in her bag where her clothes were. "This is fun actually! I never really get to be girly! Not even back home, there was no reason for it!" she said finishing up with her bag putting in deoderant and body spray. And of course her reason now was for Yugi. "I'm ready!" she announced happily as the two of them left her room. They ended up running into Yugi, out of the shower, in a towel. Damn it! She knew her face was beat read almost instantly! She just kinda stared as he walked into his room. She stopped when Sam stopped. "nyah?" she said when they stopped. Just when she thought it wasn't anymore possibly to blush she did. When Sam said he was cute, she knew that Sam didn't mean for herself. Oh no, she wasn't like Tea in anyway. But did that mean that Sam knew that she did like Yugi? Instead of being embarrassed, she was actually kinda relieved. She needed someone to help her! "Oh ah!" she said in response to Sam not knowing what quite to say. Akiko wore a quirky smile and nodded a bit as she fiddled with her hands. They left and approached the limo.

"Oh like your really going to sit next to me," he said rolling his eyes. "And I'm not going to look foolish! If anybody has a problem with me then I can take them out front and show them who is boss!" he said raising his fist. That was Joey for yea, always thinking with his fists. But then suddenly, he heard something he never thought Kaiba would say. He was lending him something? Strangly generous for him. "Wh-what's the catch?" he said feeling it was too good to be true. Why would he offer something, anything, to him? He saw Sam and Akiko exit the household. He opened up his arms and said jokingly, "Ah, my two favorite girls in the world."

"Yea until two other girls walk by right Joey?" she said jokingly as she got into the limo.

"Oh come on Akiko! Don't act like that! I'm not always chasing girls around," he said though he knew he was lying. For some reason he didn't want Kaiba to know that he was constantly flirting with girls. Why would it matter? He wouldn't care.

Atem paced back and forth in his room. Ok, so this wasn't as simple as he thought. He had to look just right for her. He took a bunch of outfit out himself, analyzing each piece. He sighed and scratched his head. He looked at his door, hearing walking around in the hall. Perhaps Yugi was finished in the bathroom? He opened the door to see Sam and Akiko just leaving. He grunted to himself, in a way he wasnt to open the door earlier so she could see him shirtless. But then again, Akiko was there, and he did have no pants on. Hmmm, and perhaps even having Sam see him in just boxers would be weird. He shook his head, he had to stop day dreaming! Yugi was out of the bathroom, so he ended up deciding taking a quick shower just to wash his body a bit. His hair was still clean, so just a quick rinse. Maybe then he could clear his mind at the same time. He only took a few minutes in the shower before he stepped out of the bathroom in only a towel as well, making his way to his room.

hmmm, I was wondering if I should make it so Joey really puts up a fight in the beginning about being taken. I wasn't sure. I kinda like your idea a bit more- cause I don't know if we could do both. Hee hee, Kaiba being dominated X3]]

Once inside he continued his scowl at Kaiba. "Better huh? Nobody can resist my charms. Right Sam?" he said. Even though Kaiba was picking on him and Joey's been pretty defensive, Joey's also been kinda unwinded around Kaiba, making jokes more so then insults back. "You sure I ain't gonna make you look better?" he said laughing a bit to himself.

"FFFFFFF" Akiko laughed through her teeth and lips when Joey said 'who can resist?'

"What?" he said confused.

"HOW many times have you been slapped?" she said laughing.

"That's cause they are afraid they would become totally obsessed with me," he joked and bragged.

"YEA SURE OK," she exaggeratedly shouted. "Haha, just stop," she added. She didn't get it, why was he all girl crazed if he supposedly liked Sam? She looked over at Sam, as if she was silently asking her why?

"So, you're just going to let me borrow some clothes, just like that?" he said to Kaiba. He raised an eyebrow at him, but he seemed to be telling Joey the truth. "Well why not? Saves me a trip back to my house," he said making it out to be no big deal even though he was pretty happy about it. Nice clothes to wear, and offered by Kaiba- totally rare.

Atem looked over to see Yugi, pratically in the same predicament as him. He couldn't help but chuckle a little. "I see you want to especially look good tonight," he said knowing exactly what he was aiming for. "Ok, let's take a look," he said walking into his room. He sweetdropped a bit when he saw all the outfits laid out, and he thought he had a lot in his room. "Well," he said picking up a white collared shirt, "why not this to start?" He handed the shirt to him. As he looked for a pair of pants that would match. "I do have a bit of advice for you," he said nonchalontly (sp?) as he sorted, "if you are looking to make an impression on her, then I would give her all of you attention." He pulled a pair of light snug fitting jeans and handed it to him. "She doesn't like when you drift from her," he added. He didn't want to tell him what Tea was doing, because he knew that they were close as friends. But he couldn't be falling for her tricks. Atem saw how she reacted in the class room after Tea had him under her spell. He started walking out of the room, "Heh, now I have to find something for myself. But I think I have an idea."

Akiko saw the mansion from a far and said happily, "Yay we're here!" She really want to talk to Sam alone. If she said something infront of the two boys, then Joey would pick on her or blab it to Yugi. Kaiba? Well he probably wouldn't really care. Or perhaps tease her as well. Afterall, he doesn't really like Yugi or Atem- or so she thought from what she's seen. Well she wasn't about to see how he would react.

hee hee X3 that sounds like a lot of fun! Oh god, inbetween posts I'm reading more of that book of mine- the zodiac one. I'm almost done with Yugi's chart (only going to Jupiter or Saturn) then it is on to Atem's chart which will be a bunch of fun XD ]]

"Don't worry about it. I think I'll be fine with Sam," he said. He quickly got changed into his boxers and picked out his outfit. He threw on a black button down collar shirt and a pair of tighter fitting dark navy jeans. He would have worn his jacket, but it was too hot for that. Once he had clothes on and was just buttoning his shirt, he walked into the hallway and spoke outloud to Yugi, "I think it was worth losing that card. But I guess I didn't really lose it now," he said in reply to the card. "You'll be ok my friend. Just be yourself and be true," he said hopefully sparking some confidence in his dear friend. "I'm just worried about Joey," he said truthfully to Yugi. "He's one of my best friends, but I can't see why he must push to be with Sam of all people. I was thinking about speaking with him. Asking him why. Joey was never so gun ho about finding someone. Have you noticed this as well?" he said having to talk to someone about it. It was usually he who helped Yugi, but now that they each had their own body they asked for one another's help.

"Maybe if Joey was more of a gentleman he wouldn't get slapped all the time," Akiko said snickering a little, "maybe you should take lessons from Atem?" Atem was actual very polite and especially a gentleman to Sam. She could see why she did like him so. Sure Atem was a great gut and her friend, but Akiko was just more atracted to Yugi. Personality wise and physically, she was just more connected to Yugi.

"Hey, I'm a gentle-" Joey started to say but Sam was pulled away from him. "Woah woah woah, just because I'm not that financially stable, doesn't mean you can call me dirty," he said kinda pissed off at the statement. Joey wasn't some scumbag that didn't bath. Oh no no, he may let Kaiba get away with the mutt insults, but nothing about his hygene.

Akiko jumped out of the limo with Sam and practically raced her to her room. She giggled as she did so, closing the door when they both entered. Sam's room was so cool! She had everything in here! "I wish my parents actually had a house in Domino, I would love to have everyone hang out in my room. N-not that I don't like my room at Yugi's!" she said. She started looking at some of the nicknacks and things on Sam's dresser. She really liked hanging out with Sam. She really needed a female friend, they all couldn't be boys! Akiko put her bag down and started taking some of her stuff out. "I think I know what I wanna wear, but what about you Sam? Any ideas for your outfit?" she said pulling out her clothes. She paused and hesitated for a few moments. "You know, I really love Joey as a friend, but I really wish he wouldn't flirt with everyone. Especially when he flirts with you as well. I mean....." she said and paused, she then added in a lower voice, "Atem doesn't do that." She really wished those two would go out with each other. He was so nice to her! Sam really deserved a good guy like that. And maybe that Tea chick would back off if they were dating! "Hey, don't tell the other's I said this, but I really don't like Tea....." she said unsure exactly how much Sam didn't like her.

"You know, you don't always have to call me 'mutt'. I gota name you know," he said following him. Deep down Joey really wanted Kaiba to like him- treat him like a person, like a friend. He also wanted to be treated better then a friend in a way. He wanted Kaiba's attention- but not if it was going to be negative. "So, ah..... any ideas?" he said, "about the outfit?" Joey wasn't all that great when it came to choosing the right outfit. He can look decent, but fancy? He was going to need some help. And now that he thought about it, he really wanted to look nice tonight.
